VIII > X > IX > VII > VI > LR > IV > XIII-2 > X-2 > XII > V > XV > III > I > XIII > II

I've only played 15
I can see the flaws plain as day, but man I'm addicted
Where to go next? I know the game is nothing like the rest of the series

13>all

Try FF4. I hear that's a good starting point for the more classic games. Damn fun game, too

Golbez’s armor 200% kinographic.

10 > 9 > 7 > 3 > 4 > 15 > 5 > 1 > 2 > 6 > 8
Haven't played the rest. Only finished the first six games in my list. Might finish 5, 1, and 2 at some point, but I have no desire to ever continue playing 6 or 8.

Why people hate FF2? I enjoyed the game, you only need to grind a little bit on the start.

I only played 15 and am playing 13 now. It opened my eyes on why 15 is the way it is. I enjoyed it so far but everyone seems to hate it like they hate 15. I also bought 6 and 8 cause I've heard many good things from the big FF fans, but i havent tried them yet. I'm greatly looking forward to seeing how they compare.

I didn't hate it. It's an okay game, I just like the others more.

There’s something that always appealing about a long, large scale adventure with a close knit group. JRPGs are still the only games that offer that kind of experience. Even other RPGs with party members tend to start things off with a bang rather than restrain you for awhile.

Tactics>V>VII>VIII>X>Tactics Advance>VI>IX>I>IV>XII>XIII

The rest I've yet to play.

There's no good entry point for FF because the games are so different. You would just need to read the plot premise and a summary of the gameplay for each game and decide what sounds good.

Type-0 > 13-2 > 13 LR > 9 > 13 > 5 > 10 & 10-2 > everything else

>Crisis Core
Playing through it at the moment, it's actually better than Dirge of Cerberus but I wish enemies weren't such huge damage sponges. That and the story doesn't make much sense.

10, 7, and 4 are considered good "first" games. 9 and 6 are good, too imo. Stay away from ff2, however. The leveling system in that in weird and a blind playthrough can end in super suboptimal parties. 1 is the super classic, absolutely no frills rpg experience. Super basic. If you want to play ff3, get or emulate the new version.

Great:
5, 6, 7, 10

Good:
4, 9, 10-2, LR

Okay:
1, 3, 12, 13-2

Bad:
2, 8, 13, 15
