Nintendo hasn't had a console worth having other other ones since the Super Nintendo.
The Nintendo 64, the Gamecube, and the Wii U all sold significantly less than previous consoles in the past.
The exception of course being the Nintendo Wii, which at the end of life cycle was often seen at sub $99.
The Switch is one of the greatest consoles of all time though, if not the greatest.

It’s true. Just like the Wii, a lot of developers get compelled to play ball with the next-gen gimmick of 3D platforming. Similarly, some of the best games on the PS1 are 2D side-scroll.

yep. ironically enough sin & punishment 2 used motion controls incredibly well. hell, even if you were traditional controls or bust, you could still use classic/gamecube controller anyway so you can play it on dolphin no problem.
