Thing with PVE servers is that once you actually hit max level there's literally nothing to do. Raiding in classic was the purest most distilled form of cancer only appealing to autistic retards. PvP is the only saving grace of classic, even if that means having your asshole tore open trying to hit 60.

The server was full of cliques with mentally unstable people who have no idea about personal boundaries or how to interact like a normal person. Unsolicited ERP was a common occurrence and you had no choice but to go along with it if you didn't want to start drama. The one time I put my foot down (the person in question found out my real identity and tried to blackmail me), they bought another copy of the game and used it to harass and gank me as revenge. The RP-PVP community turned the game into a living nightmare.

Yes, the spec I was using (Holy Reckoning) is perfect for BGs. You can throw out heals, blessings and cleanse just fine, but also hold your own if anyone gets close. AV is awesome for it since you can build charges from the mobs in there.
