Megaman X6 isn't THAT bad outside of Nightmare Mirrors and Gate 2, while X5's RNG bullshit is generally more annoying to put up with.

Fallout New Vegas + DLC is the best game in the Fallout series and ties the lore and story together with each additional one.

The moment a game makes a design decision to increase sales, it stops being art and starts being a product. As an extension of this, no game you have ever paid for can be art.

Halo 3 is the worst in the series for me. Everything just feels so goddamn slow, not to mention the emphasis on large area combat and the fact that most of these levels go on a tad too long emphasizes this. The first four levels feel like a slog to go through before the plot FINALLY decides to pick up after The Storm, and even then you have shit like The Ark and The Covenant: two missions that feel like the developers wanted to put ABSOLUTELY FUCKING EVERYTHING in them just to fulfill there "massive battle" fetish.

I honestly wish the developers would've slips those missions into different "acts", would've made the game a lot less of a slog to go through...

My unpopular opinion is that The Wonderful 101, despite being my top game of the generation, is still a deeply flawed game. My fellow W101fags are really quick to sweep its worse qualities under the rug. It's a game I think everyone should try, but its brick wall of a skill curve is gonna put off a lot of people, and the game is overly punishing for poor play in moment-to-moment gameplay. Taking 3+ seconds to recover from a hit is a momentum killer, and only a fraction of your dudes should get scattered by attacks unless you're on Hard or up.

There's genuinely nothing wrong with furries (the characters, not the real life people who are diehard fans of them) and I wish they were in more games.

Diablo 3 not only is a good game, it's been a good game.

In all honesty while I love Wonderful 101 and all the characters and the story and whatnot, I legitimately did not like it at first. I honestly believe that I didn't play a single action game prior to playing it, so it just really confused me. Things just didn't click with me. It wasn't until I watched some of the SBFP video they did of the game that I decided to go back to it and really loved it. There are some really bad sections though, like a lot of the gamepad sections are just annoying, and the depth perception on the glider part in the first mission fucked me over.

Absence of tech doesn't mean it's easier.
In competitive Smash your wins are determined by how much you've mastered the tech, a physical aspect that anyone can learn with practice
In Brawlhalla your wins are determined by how much you can read and predict your opponent, a mental aspect that not many people can wrap their head around.
Brawlhalla is about mind games and conditioning while also having a decently high execution ceiling
It's also overall a much faster game and less reliant on true combos

I don't even think Gen 5 is the worst but I heavily dislike how many people around here consider it the "peak" of Pokemon.
Pokemon seems to follow somewhat like a mini Zelda cycle, because gen 5 used to be considered the worst gen of all. It only started to become "UNDERRATED FLAWED MASTERPIECE" when around when gen 6 and 7 were coming out.

It doesn't help that gen 5 seems to be where the trend of 'extreme quality' started, where when a Pokemon looks good it looks really good, but when it looks bad it looks really bad. Gen 5 was very split with this and people focused on the negatives like trash bags and ice cream.

I'd say that started around gen 4, although that might've been because a good portion of the Pokemon were evolutions.

everyone likes this idea but the execution suffered because the designs of the Pokemon, both artistically and mechanically in some cases, were inferior to previous gens. There was hardly any Pokemon to get attached to, and it wasn't fun encountering the ones you didn't like.

That's not true. Most people insist on their first run being with all new Pokemon. Again, Gen V offered a poor selection to choose from, which is why it was canned.

As a fan of both games (x6 being a guilty pleasure), I think x5 is the much better game.
But had x6 had more time to develop and had better level design, boom best x game. The level design is the only thing holding it back for me (yes even the bad translation isn't that big of a problem)

DmC was and still is a fine action game. Though I admit when I play it now, it's just with the DMC3 skin equipped and skipping all the cutscenes.

Nier:Automata was basically a brand dead version of things we saw in Nier. Even the ending concept (deleting the save) was done in a more emotional manner in Nier.

W101 is boring as hell. The encounters and fights got insanely dull. It has a lot of style but I can't play the game at all, bored me to tears.
