Brawl was the first time he showed up in Smash at all. 4 was like "Okay I guess...". People are up in arms because "Everyone is here...except this fuckin long boy we only put in fuckin party games and sports games, he can be an assist trophy again." At least Lyn is a main character in her own game. Waluigi doesn't even have his own game.
