When I was in high school, I had sleep paralysis one night and while in that state of concsiousness I dreamt that six tall humanoids came into my room and generally just hovered around, three to a side, and made weird gestures at each other. Then they bailed.

Fast forward a bit and I fell asleep on a couch at a family friend's house while they went to midnight service and during sleep paralysis, those same six figures were approaching the large glass sliding door I was facing. I managed to roll myself off the coach and point my hand at them, and they bailed.
