perfect game. it something that they could have continued, like set it in medieval times like army of darkness and he has to find his way home. the controls weren't horrible, just needs some polishing (especially the shooting). for a pretty standard hack and slash it wasn't bad.

it controlled better for sure. regeneration is my favorite just because I first played it right around the time I discovered evil dead as a teen. I'd always loved campy horror movies, so Bruce movies were fucking perfect for me.

I remember reading some translated Japanese interview with Capcom where they talked about RE7 and Ash vs Evil Dead for the whole length of the interview. Seems like the Capcom devs were obsessed with the show / series while they were making the game
