why do they make you do this shit just to throw a fireball? in other games you just press one fucking button.

I'm going to assume you already know fireball and tatsu

Walk forward then immediately do fireball

you don't do that to throw fireball, you fucking retard. God why is half of Yea Forums is retarded.

Attached: images - 2019-03-05T115330.996.jpg (246x97, 3K)

thats a fire uppercut motion in the OP though

They do it to fit in more special moves without using more buttons. If you wanted moves in one button then you would need a a god damn keyboard and map like a billion buttons

What is this input supposed to be? Right, diagonal down left, forwards?

It's Right -> Down -> Down-right

Listen you fucking cunt I can see how the "Z" shape might be confusing at first but if you actually took your head out of your ass for one second and learned how to do it, it's fucking extremely easy to execute and most games nowadays are lenient with it anyways

Based on this picture the input is down, half crescent finishing at up, and punch

Do you have to break the stick out of its axis for this? Fucking retarded input.

>Forward
You mean right? The motion is just Right > Down > Down-Right. It doesn't look like that in this image so it's kind of a poor visualization but it's pretty easy.

>It's Right -> Down -> Down-right
That isn't what is shown

Is Yea Forums really this bad with fighting games?

Literally just do 65236 with the stick and press a punch button.

How many times are people going to get baited in threads like this?

Attached: 1535977911608.png (1024x365, 775K)

No. YOU'RE fucking retarded. You literally don't even know what the fucking input is. Look at your numpad. It's 623. Fucking simple. Why is Yea Forums full of such fucking casual scrubs? Aren't you niggers supposed to be "hardcore"?

Have you never touched a fighting game in your life?

>65236
I usually just do 623.

Attached: NumpadNotation3.png (400x333, 99K)

>Literally just do 65236 with the stick and press a punch button
Good thing technology has advanced since 1990 and we no longer need to cram 800 different controls into a 3 button controller. They don't still do this, right?

It is what is shown if you're not an idiot.

looks really fucking easy
just follow the motion you dumbass

I'm retarded and meant that, I meant to imply you 6 was the first input, not that you start at it.

Post Yea Forums is bad at fighting games compilations.

>whinging about inputs
>again
Brolylegs can do it, are you telling me you're less capable than someone with undeveloped limbs that plays with his mouth

Cause you are unable to learn basic imputs

May as well just link to scrub quote

>a blind man and a man who literally uses his mouth to play is better then Yea Forums at fighting games

Stand down you fucking autist piece of shit. You're human garbage. What has your life amounted to? You're probably just a pitiful NEET who's escaping from the reality of life in shit games nobody gives a fuck about. What the fuck are you going to do when your parents die? How are you supposed to support yourself? You haven't even thought about this, you're either genuinely retarded thinking such problems will never come into your life or you'll do what garbage like you always do, blame it on others and kill yourself. Do us all a favor and do it right now, no one will miss you.

OK guys HERE IT'S THE EXPLANATION:
the fuckin Z means press
>FORWARD
>DOWN
>FORWARD
it's just a fireball but you gotta press forward first there you go,

Attached: 1549979665018.jpg (800x830, 26K)

please give us your input and propose a better way to implement ryus 41 moves in a way thats balanced and precise without removing (dumbing down) moves on a ps4 controller without motions

The image is amiguous. The only possible way to accurately reproduce this input is
>forward 6
>downback 1
>downforward 3

If you do
>forward 6
>down 2
>downforward 3
Then it is no longer accurate to the image because 2 to 3 is not a straight line, rather an arc.

Stop projecting

Isnt it
Right
Lowerleft
Right?

Its not bad on fightstick to do this but on dpad its just shitty

>stop projecting

neither of these motions are hard and anybody with 2 brain cells can consistently do them. Stop baiting

They still do because there's more than one version of the move depending on which button you use to activate it. So there's still not enough buttons on any controller to have one for every move.

Because the Z is evidently not the most intuitive symbol to use, and can be incorrectly interpreted in a multitude of ways.
Its why I prefer numpad notation, or at the very least using an arrow for each individual direction or something. Harder to get mixed up on.

Its literally just forward and then a quarter circle forward. If you want dumb, try TK DP, now whats stupid whether pad or stick

I feel like they could make this motion easier to understand if it wasn't
FORWARD
DOWN
DOWN FORWARD
and instead was
FORWARD
DOWN BACK
DOWN FORWARD
like an actual Z motion.
But I digress; tapping forward + QCF also makes sense. DPs are pretty easy to do. It's just that the arrow example given by some games doesn't make a lot of sense.

Attached: 2019-01-25-going-down.jpg (1077x856, 183K)

Not that user, but at least try to make arguments instead of wojak reaction images, don't let them win.

End on bottom right instead of on the right side and it's easy.

When I used to play dpad I would just use forward then fireball. You have to basically slide your thumb and not tap the arrows one at a time. I switched to stick though because my thumb would get sore

This is a dragon punch/shoryuken input you dumb faggot.

square gates exist. 2 to 3 can be a straight line.

It's not even the inputs individually that are hard, it's when you are learning how to string together inputs that you find out you have to input the next attack so fast that you're doing the next move during the animation of the previous one.

UNIST tutorial kicks my ass on this honestly

each button is already mapped to a move, and each button+direction is already mapped to a move
this is what happens when you run out of buttons, but you still need to be able to do specific moves

Yeah, I can do the basic moves with my eyes closed but I suck balls at doing them during combos.

The Z is mislead. It should just be forward, then quarter circle. None of these faggot games register a difference between forward and downforward anyway, and it would be less amiguous that walking forward and doing a fireball is in fact an illegal move that will give you retarded shoryuken instead.

The Z is literally a lie. There is no downforward.

yes there is you brainlet retard
you can input a shoryuken ending with downforward, without even hitting forward a second time

this is quality retardposting

>z+P

There is no reason to have to do fucking algebra while playing a game

>complaining shoryus are hard
>since 2008, 11 fucking years ago, more than a god damned decade Street Fighter has let you press down forward twice to do a Shoryuken since the game has a built in assist system

but that makes the same mistake? then the last forward input from the QCF is useless, you just end up drawing a Z and then adding a forward

Forward, Quarter Circle Forward = shoryuken

Quarter Circle Forward = hadouken

you can't walk forward and do an hadouken. Diagonals aren't read. The game only interprets d,f as hadouken and f,d,f as shoryuken.

Similarly you cant do a shoryuken while crouching, cause that is d,f,d,f = double quarter circle, so thats a super.

You save a frame of input by ending at downforward which can mean the difference of a DP coming out when you want and getting stuffed by a jump-in instead.

what does being unable to walk forward and do a hadouken have to do with down forward inputs?
Why are you stating lies when you could go and play the game and see that you can do a shoryuken with f, d, d/f?

How do you go from 6 to 2 without doing 5 or 3?

how the fuck do i do this

Attached: UNIst_2019-03-04_22-46-57.png (1280x720, 511K)

it's easy as shit on a d-pad, on a stick it's okay to go to 5 between 6 and 2, although it should be possible to go straight from 6 to 2 if you have good control.

Technically you go through 5 on the way to 2, but it doesn't really matter because 5 isn't really an input, it's more of a lack of input since it's just the deadzone of the stick.

Moving throw hold forward A+B then time D

5 is neutral and as long as you're not dragging the input you're still fine going through it

You hit forward+grab immediately after inputting the dash then piano in D. If you input grab too late, you'll get an assault. Try doing 66>6A+B>D

fascinating. I learn something new here every once in a while and it gives me reason to come back.

Since i'm controller and holding A+B for the dash is awkward as fuck I mapped the A+B command to R1. So if I'm going forward r1, do I let go of these before inputting D? Because when I try to do this I keep doing assault jump

Pressing D almost at the same time as the 6A+B was how I cheesed this. I really wish they had a demo with input display to see what sort of delay you're supposed to use to get this.

This is it, thanks I got it now. Did not know it was such a quick motion

It's not

I used to be able to do the original pretty often. Now I'm an old man with arthritis and can't play fighting games for more than a short while.

1:1 cyborg appendages when?

Attached: geese pretzels.jpg (720x434, 42K)

That is one spooky looking mall

Fuck off retard

>spooky
you mean comfy

How many times has this thread been made?

Because these games were designed to be played on an arcade cabinet, not a controller. It's harder to make motions that quick and precise with just your thumb rather than your entire hand.

If you can't do a shoryuken input on an arcade stick then you're just bad though.

Get on my level.

Brolylegs plays using his face and Yea Forums can't even do basic inputs.

The darker tone makes it seem eerie to me. But I suppose it evokes a certain charm as well.

That's because he has nothing better to do than sit around all day. You would be playing that well with your face too if you couldn't move from the neck down. You'd have no choice

Fucking scrub get good

Yea Forums sits around all day with nothing better to do too.

Are those charge moves? God, I can never get a combo with charge moves.

Did you perform it on pad? If so you might find stick more comfortable. If not you might the Xbox adaptive controller for your disability famalam

It shows right->down-left->right

Nah, it's right (relative to the stick), down (relative to the stick), and down-right (relative to the stick)

The fuck are you talking about, you can do down forward, down, down forward in street fighter to get a shoryuken while crouching, for stuff like Ryu's c.hp into shoryuken into super. If the game interpreted f, d, f as shoryuken all the time then sagat would never be able to kara fireballs and yet he can, even without doing half circles.

My ex

It's impressive the justification of scrubs.

>press forward
>then do a qcf

imagine being bad

in sf4 and 5 you can just push 33

This motion is piss easy just rotate the stick twice and the buffer will do the rest

ur mum
