Most likely scenario would be Honey Parade Games gets sued by Sony for breach of contract and the game never happens, HPG can't possibly survive a hit like that so Takaki fades into obscurity and Nan just draws for porn games.

I mean what can Takaki realistically do? Not like he can pull some avengers type shit for SK when the cast is already bloated as it is for one game, it'd be kind of hard to take it seriously again after beach episode-tier games for 2 games, the anime probably turned some people off at the the idea of this kind of SK because of what they did with the Yoma and how some of their favorite characters didn't get enough screentime/lines, and it's hard to feel like the story ever meant to wrap up in this manner.

I can understand they have contractual obligations with the next SK game, but if you strip away the fan service I doubt most of the people who buy the games will continue to do so. It's easy to say it because it's not my money and all, but they should cut their loses with Snoy and start producing on PC, the Switch, and even Xbox at this point. The PS4 may have the largest user base right now, but next gen is coming sooner or later and if Snoy's actions have pissed off enough of the weebs and Japanese developers, they'll find themselves where the Xbox was this console gen.
