Just beat Kingdom Hearts 3. Had fun with it despite it being pretty underwhelming. I'm about to go to Best Buy to pick up Etrian Odyssey 5 and hope I have as much fun with it as I did with 4.

Because I never cared for that, the only setting I always check is for the controls and I dont like seeing empty space on the sides, but I never tested how the games look in their proper aspect ratios, so maybe Ill start changing that.

Played a bunch of Warframe earlier. Trying to get through all the new Nightwave junk before I go to Disneyland with folks later in the week.

I finished Silent Hill 2 a couple of hours ago, it was a great game.

I'd much rather play with letterboxing than have all the characters squashed out and fat.

You can use the stairs to stack the wooden crates, then push them over to the ledge. Or you could just skip that part and do the rest of the game no climb.

I have finally gone through Ashes of Ariandel. It is not as bad as people say it is, but certainly not worth the price. I really liked the atmosphere and the characters. Gael seems to be an interesting lad. Also, the new weapons are pretty cool.

I desperately wish that someone had remastered Rule of Rose. The premise, story, music, and overall atmosphere are all top tier.

But the combat is really awful, and it's near impossible to even play it without emulating these days.

Playing Breath of the Wild all day with the niece and nephews. It's a lot more charming to explore and just get lost in the world than I expected it to be.

Shame I don't have a Switch of my own. Would love to just grind through all the shrines and putter about every village on my own time.

Already knew PC was the best one, but after not having played it in years since well before HGH it really hits home just how absurdly good it was and still is.
I think HGH is decent, but its design around levels really holds it back, even if I know it was done for the sake of being able to play through with multiple characters.

Pretty good game. Already finished it, but I'm now doing the post-game content.
Tales of Symphonia is next on the list, hope it is as good of a game as this one.

I got a new gaming pc recently and totally forgot that warframe is free to play. I started last night and it makes me kinda nervous and I dont entirely know what's going on but it looks cool and I like the combat and movement so far

Pretty much just played Death Mark in my free time today. Beat it and planning on doing the bonus chapter tomorrow night. I wish Aksys had a better editor, I pretty much expect a couple dozen errors in their scripts these days. Also the translation was fucking awful. A couple of the puzzles were language-based and weren't translated at ALL for English! I liked it as a whole though.

Morrowind for like 6 hours, Portal for 1 and Counter Strike Source for 2 hours. Feels good being off unicucking for two weeks

I've gotten 3 achievements away from 100%ing Axiom Verge. Not sure why I insist on 100%ing it, getting the last achievement of corrupting all the enemy types is going to be frustrating, but I can speedrun it so I felt like I should see how quickly I could finish the rest and realized I had it on steam.

Level design was definitely a low point of the experience, while servicable, it seemed caught between metroidvania and linear platformer, without giving either enough room to shine.
hopefully the next one will pick one and focus on making it great.
i also really liked all the spontaneous interaction PC had, whereas HGH was more rigid in where dialogue occurred.
