I was typing this out in the last thread when it 404ed.
Yakuza 3 just felt right. Kiryu should have gotten a happy ending tending the orphanage.
Okinawa was a 10/10 peak area. I normally hate when people say something is "comfy", but fuck, that is 100% applicable to the orphanage sections and Ryukyu in general. I would buy Kiryu's orphanage simulator as a full game in a heartbeat.
The story is dumb as fuck, but it's entertaining. The exposition chapter was kind of shit, but since I already know all that shit now, I can just skip it on a replay.
It's a real shame that we will never get a complete version of Yakuza 3 in the west. I was truly hopeful for the PS4 remaster, but they went and fucked it up.

There's no English patch for either of them. Ishin just got so expect a year or two minimum for that, Kenzan's guys want it to be out this year but that seems like a generous estimate. You also need a pretty decent PC to get anything decent with regards to framerate from what I saw with PS3 emulation.
