Meh, i could just replay MGS4 if i wanted to watch a MGS movie.

Add in the fact that a big theme of Metal Gear being that the same scenario keeps repeating (Notably MG2, MGS, MGS2) but it getting carried by what would be minor differences in scenario make for worlds of difference in gameplay and it being a retelling of the "Shadow Moses Incident" but without interactivity (due the choice of medium) puts it at a harsh disadvantage.

It will be interesting to see if they modify the REX design though, im more of a KODOQUE-fag but REX is pretty iconic so it will be fun to see if they tweak it to be grittier or "more western", how it impacts the design and if it spawns outrage.

Honestly it is likely just IP sitting, x holds the rights of a movie and claiming they are making one so no one else can make one to compete with the other movies they are making.

The story need to be a standalone thing like Snake hunting metal gear in Philantropy.
you can't adapt any game properly.
but it's going to be MGS1 because Jordan literally don't want to make the movie if he can't have his favorite character in it : Gray fox.
Isaac also doesn't have the "snake voice", i'm not asking for Hayter (he will probably have a cameo in the movie, at least i hope so.) but for someone a little similar.
