Yes it would. Double performance and detail quality should be readily apparent. It can't hide away behind low quality inputs. Wartapes mode on $400 Sennheisers should sound at least twice as good as Wartapes mode on shitty $100 Razers. It didn't/doesn't. It's not a worthwhile way to spend the extra cash. Just got Arctis 7 and I like them a lot. My only complaint is that there's a faint static if you put the physical volume to the max, but it's completely gone at under like 75%.
