This is unironically my favorite game right now. It's so addicting.

Literal secretary slacking off tier trash
Consider the following: MMORPGs and all the lootershooters and Ubisoft-like games are there to a) drip-feed you with dopamine b) have a social element c) impress you with production values. You can get both a) and b) in larger quantities by playing cookie clicker while shitposting on Yea Forums and it's free. They really make these nu-vidya useless.
I listen to audiobooks while playing it.
Based
Cringe
I prefer to have some more fluff to it, when scaling arbitrary numbers ad infinitum.
Whacking a pixelated goblin with a stick is a good start
t. adhd fag
The absolute state of PCtards
I'm still not enjoying Clicker Heroes 2 as much as the first game but I love the fact that it's buy to play with no microtransactions.
Time Clickers is okay too.
Megami Quest 3 FUCKING WHEN
>playing (...) while shitposting
If you're shitposting, you aren't playing. Simple as that. And if you aren't playing, why the fuck bother?
I want to bake forever!
That's the entire point and appeal of idle games
It ain't that hard to wrap your head around
Cookie clicker was fun when it was one of three clicker games on Yea Forums when we went through that clicker flavour of the month. Then the overhaul happened and it was cool that he revamped it and gave it such an improvement. But that was in 2013, I don't know why someone would still touch it today.
Clicker games are the best design, it's gameplay distilled down to perfection without any meaningless fluff.
Does it require you to be online to be played ?
Progress Quest > Clickers
I miss my old Demicanadian Shiv-Knight, but made a fresh char a while back. Still plenty of room to grow.
>addicting
off yourself
Also you can just cheat to see the ending.
nostalgia for idle games
soon nostalgia for mobile games
i started playing this and then after a few hours deleted all my progress so i'd never play it again
This is objectively the truth.
Modern f2p, freemium, and models like R6Siege and BF are all based around the rat trap reward schedule to keep you slogging away for content your money paid to develop.
I recently used Clickpocalypse 2 and The Idle Class to wean myself off of Armored Warfare and World of Warships. I've now gotten myself back into CRPGs and other open ended, 100% player freedom games.
brootal redpill
DOUBLE WOOKIE
>not playing the original
Pathetic!
I bet none of you can actually bake cookies
I tried out Cookie Clicker, but not before downloading an autoclicker, and that was fun for a little while
>orteil is making hella cash thanks to Yea Forums
you think he still browses?
Megami Quest 2 is my favourite one of these, I need something like this on my fucking phone
I enjoyed the shit out of Candy Box and Candy Box 2. Shame there are just 2 or 3 alternatives to it.
Yeah, there really isn't any other game like Candy Box. So many mechanics and fun systems.
It is fun. I leave it on all the time, veil and switch make it simply a passive thing, just check back in and pop wrinklers, buy buildings and allocate sugar lumps once in a while. Comfy to come home to and manage really quickly after work and in the morning
This clown is an idiot. All video games are a waste of time, clickers are no different.
>muh quality experience
Literal NPC
Huniepop studio is better
it's stops being a idle game later when the best way to earn cookies is to have an autoclicker and cheese the golden cookie spawns, the summon golden cookie spell and reindeers
Have fun having to replace your mouse in a year.
>Open web console
>Game.OpenSesame();
There, you're done forever
>not using autoclickers
Play a real incremental like Trimps you fucking casual
The combat is so boring though. I reached prestige once and lost interest in getting to the same point again.
>hasn’t even cleared the first spire
Pathetic
I had been playing Cookie Clicker for like 4-5 years since the first time it showed up on Yea Forums, even still have the dev on skype though I'm sure he doesn't use that anymore either, and I was the reason he added "low spec" mode cause I only had a toaster laptop when it first came out and all the numbers popping up made my computer crawl.
Ended up losing my save file years later around the time the dragon came out and just lost interest, clicker heroes kinda scratched that itch for a bit, but nothing has had the same magic that cookie clicker did. I think I might just be done with the entire genre, they all feel too calculated, like they're using focus group market research to keep you playing and paying for microtransactions. Cookie Clicker just felt like this innocent and innocuous little time waster that was simply fun to check up on, kinda like Candy Box but infinite and not as good. Its a shame the genre was born and died so quickly, but I think I'll genuinely miss them over time.
