So what's the deal with TESO anyway? I recall the Scrollocaust happening prior to release, then the actual release went by unnoticed on Yea Forums and after all these apparent updates and expansions over the past few years, it's supposedly somewhat good?

How much of the game is focused on single-player compared to multiplayer?

Most of the game (questing) can be either multiplayer or singleplayer. Only pvp, dungeons and trials(raids) are multiplayer tho there is at least one solo trial that i know of.
The most common things people complain about are mediocre combat (still better than skyrim) and the "main quest(base game)" which is pretty small part of the game.
I enjoy it, others don't. It's cheap as fuck so try it out, but
is full of shit.

It's a probably the most solo MMO ever. I enjoyed it, but ended up dropping it because I couldn't stand how fucking ugly the characters are.

It's better than skyrim as singleplayer game. Really.
RPG system is interesting, hundreds lore books, quests are written better than bethesda ever could(duh). It is very underrated as TES game, MMO parts of it I honestly don't care about and play it mostly for TES fix which it provides.

Except you can't defeat some random female bandit, change her faction, and use her to make easy money on villages and cities.
Also, its not a sandbox MMO, if I want to play a theme park I gonna play Dungeon and Dragon, at least the dungeons are to complete.

it's buy once no sub, the catch is they got DLC(content patch in wow terms) and Chapter(expansion) system. You get all DLC for subbing for one month though.

Its okay. Worth sinking time into if youre into generic mmo shit, and dont play any of the others. Otherwise not really worth it.

The movement is horrendous and floaty and feels like complete ass. Also the quest writing was offensively bad.

WOrth trying, it's free and if you don't like it you haven't lost anything.
I put in around 1700 hours before I got bored and stopped playing.
