I can't stop thinking about this fucking game. It's the first Suda game I've played and something about it just blows my mind. The OST, the dialogue, the story, it just oozes charm and now I can't find anything that comes even close to it.
Travis Strikes Again
i wish he made just another no more heroes game desu i love his flair but it's just not as fun to me.
Well, the end of the game makes it clear they're developing NMH3.
Go away Suda
Killer 7
NMH
Michigan: Report from hell
What was your favorite game?
Mine was Life is Destroy.
Is Let It Die any good?
Mmmh hard to say!
I enjoyed Coffee & Doughnuts a lot, didn't mind the repetition at all.
>Michigan: Report from hell
Brisco best boy
Playing it right now.
It's great, especially in atmosphere and music department.
Thanks user, I'll check it out!
Between a small crew and someone with as much flair as Suda, it just feels like the people who made it enjoy video games to me.
The game released a couple days before I went to Japan, so playing it and trying all the different types of Ramen around Tokyo and further was really cool.
Did they have beer though?
Few tips:
>Don't waste death metal you get from daily bonuses on revival, it's best to use Kill Coins on them, you'll want to use DM exclusively to expand your storage space
>Pick up Collectors class as soon as you can - it's best for exploration, since you get more space in your inventory
>Focus on leveling your mastery with Iron, Machete and fists first, and make a priority on upgrading those blueprints first
>You get tier 2/3/4 blueprints by leveling the base one
>Climb the fucking tower!
One of the best intros in the game and its missable
Yes, fortunately
Speaking of Beer if you can go to Yokohama go to the Kirin beer factory and go on a tour, remember to book in advance. It's free and after the tour they'll give you 3 free middies of beer. Gotta drink them in 20 or so minutes though, then you're encouraged to browse the gift shop.
Holy shit hahaha
The production values of this game are all over the place and I love it.
Watching this now, with full comprehension of Electro Triple Stars fate, is fucking heartbreaking.
Sadly, I only played a bit of it before I got bored with my PS4 and sold it off, this gen sucks. I plan to play the steam version soon, as what I've played seemed fun.
Dude, PS2 games were the shit.
The only thing I wanna know about this game is why was Travis in a fucking trailer, and with a ghost video game system.
He wants to isolate himself from the life of an assassin, and it's likely he's being targeted by other assassins since by now he has a legendary status and a lot of those guys want him dead to simply prove themselves.
There's also the family angle, where he want to keep this dangerous shit as far from them as he can.
The Death Drive I would assume was won on some auction site, similar to his beam katana.
What is the actual gameplay like? From what I've gathered it's not quite like NMH 1 and 2.
SUDA x Digital Devolver for ETT3 fucking WHEN
Will the next elf actually add a new level I was a bit disappointed if I’m honest with the first dlc. The barman text adventure was fun though.
>gets an mythical video game console in the woods with a fax machine and his talking cat
I think Travis knew what he was going into
Never played a Suda game, well, besides Killer is Dead. Is this a good start?
Next DLC does add a new level yes
>Killer Marathon

I also found this, it's a short comic from a SotD fan book which is basically lost media at this point

Alright fellow Sudanons, the ce is arriving this week. Keep an eye out, we'll have a nice thread and I'll upload all of the artwork It's just going to be phone pics until I get access to a better scanner
Noice, thanks user
>Noic-
>phone pics
Damnation
you really owe it to yourself to play, at the very least, NMH1 and Killer7. if you love his style and dialog enough, play The Silver Case, Flower Sun and Rain, and the 25th Ward from there, in that order. TSC and 25th Ward are visual novels. FSR is more of a numbers based puzzle/adventure game, though easily his most obtuse and where the player is fucked with the most imo, and not necessarily in a good way.
you can also read his manga, Kurayami Dance. basically what he had planned for Shadows of the Damned before EA's meddling. you can find that here:
mangarock.com
as for GHM's other major games, they're all worth at least checking out, though without Suda in the director's chair your mileage may vary.
that's fucking awesome. i'd say you had a good time lol
does anyone know of a way to delete my LiD data? i started and didn't play very much when it first dropped. i had thought of getting back into it, but i'd prefer a clean slate and getting the exposition/lore dumps in the beginning.
Can you translate the text? I too only managed to find the french version
If you can recommend a scanner that isn't very expensive, I'm all ears.
I'm getting the english version. Is the French version already online?
There's no way to delete your LiD data, however you can just make an alternative steam or psn account and play through the tutorial again
No I mean I only managed to purchase the french version, I have no clue if it's online
If you post english screenshots then it's all good, thank you very much user
I thought the French versions had already been delivered? Did you get it from a reseller? I'm a little confused as they haven't provided me with a tracking number yet. It might be an international thing though. I'm just going by what they announce on their twitter.
yeah, that's probably what i'll do. thanks user.
also, my bad for the rest of my post guys. sleep deprived and didn't see the Sudaverse pastebin had been posted.
I'm just in a weird position personally. I'm out of town for work so I have no clue if my CE has been delivered or not. I'm assuming yes since I got a few packages but I won't be home till friday so I can't check it out.
I don't speak french regardless so if you were to post the english screenshots I'd be happy is my point
I can't find it on Steam?
Alright, I got you covered with the english screenshots at least.
>a Suda NMH
>on a non Nintendo platform
You're new.
Thank you user
Basically I could either get the english version or the signed french version, and I opted to get the signed one since I have a few Suda51 signatures already
I'll transcribe the text in the screenshots once you post them so I can put it in a pastebin or something
It's a cool game, but it just seems like every level after the last adds another layer of inconvenience.
In the second level you run through a top down maze and switch tiles around to make a route and progress, but now there's an unkillable enemy chasing you, so if you get the tile placement wrong you better run in a big circle for 12 seconds so you have enough time to try again.
Level 3 you have to run around a mansion looking for the right door to go through because the doors aren't really placed in order. Forgot which doors you haven't gone through? Better keep trying doors til you find out. I did notice non cleared levels are green, but even still you have to run around to find them. It's just thing after thing with this game. I feel like I love the style of these games more than their substance.
I'm happy to do so. I'd like to give back and if it weren't for these threads I would have never known about Kurayami Dance or The Silver Case 4.5 book.
>dude go buy this low effort mobileshit looking game if you ever want NMH3 to exist lol xD
I can't believe I actually liked Suda at some point. What the fuck happened? Why are more people not outraged by this shit?
Then play his other ones, and wait, like you have seen, for the next real NMH.
Because the game is actually good
No, he is a literal oldfag lurking here and 2ch since before you newfags were born.
Because people who like his games are real gamers™ and don't give a shit about looks but gameplay and story / content.
So what are the chances that NMH3 is the end of the storyline and suda will actually move forward with something new afterwards?
I think fairly high, it took so much to be able to make 3 a reality itd be a huge gamble to let stuff out for a 4
Any chance this will make it to Steam? Always hated that No More Heroes is held hostages by shitty consoles but it's such a fun game, literally bought a Wii for the first one.
Low to nonexistant, Suda wants NMH to be only on nintendo
Considering he also isn't the youngest guy in town anymore, i also think that 3 will be the last one. After that he will drop a few more different games and call it a day afterwards.
Grasshopper is down to like a handful of employees who could not feasibly make a proper NMH3 so they went with a smaller, almost indie-like side game instead. I don't understand the logic that TSA is "holding 3 hostage" when that's usually how games and other media work. Sequels don't get made to flops and Suda was just being honest.
Anyone else here think that they are developing the ports of NMH1+2 and not NMH3? Like what said, the team is only about 20 people or something now. Perhaps a port of NMH1+2 would be the defining factor as to how much funding they could get from Ninty to make NMH3.
Really? I played 1 and 2 and I am struggling to finish playing it. The minigames in it are just painful to do. The combat is ok and I like the addition of skill chips, even if I do miss the old wrestling combos and the roullette. The story parts are ok, but I am kinda wondering why the fuck I am even playing these games. The stupid doughnut shit in the last gamr and the damn blue head were just annoyances. I am in the racing game right now and my game might be having issues as even if I hold onto the accelerator my bike won't even move.
Marvellous owns no more heroes 1 and 2 so in theory they'd handle the port or give it over to a third party like they did with Heroes Paradise, and like every other GHM port
TSC, FSR, 25W, K7, KiD ports were all handled by different companies rather than GHM and Suda would generally act as a supervisor at best, they do have some measure of control (for example they vetoed the inclusion of achievements in K7's steam port) but they aren't responsible for development, I don't see why they'd get contracted to work on the nmh ports directly
Why?:(
>I don't see why they'd get contracted to work on the nmh ports directly
They could possibly just be doing it for the money. When those other games were ported, GhM had other projects they were being paid to complete. That said, I think they're working on NMH3 with funding from Nintendo. There's no way they didn't see the demand for it even if the reasoning behind "being held hostage" is complete mouth breathing retard tier and I'm willing to bet that'll be his announcement at E3 in June with the last chapter of TSB tying in/teasing it when that comes out in May
Nintendo already published the phisical copies of TSA so yeah I'd say the writing is on the wall
well clearly if you ever liked Suda it was only for superficial bullshit, because everything an actual fan could have liked at any point in his career is present here.
Hoping for Shadows of the Damned 2
Fun.
Can't wait.
It's really not that good OP
I’ll have to wait to april to get this game, the wait is killing me.
