Why doesn't Human Revolution have moments like this?

Because augs vs humans is easier to right

They decided to focus on a micro conflict (read racial conflict, prejudice etc), instead of a Macro conflict ( Class structure, Company politics, Politics and so on)

Where did all the augmented people go by the time of Deus Ex?

likely died out/phased out over time when nano-augs became more established as far superior

MD tells you about it.
Ever since the panchaia incident(2027) the augmented population went down 87%, with a remaining 7 million augmented people reported on the planet.
Makes sense when anna and gunther are considered antiquity by the time of Deus Ex.

retcon.
they pretty much had to do it though, there wouldn't have been much of a story without augments.

it doesn't matter, they aren't 100% black.

You can't retcon what wasn't established.
People got their augs removed so they don't get assimilated with the "unstable murdermachine" stigma which Panchaia created, simple as that.
Especially with the human purist movement and segregation that popped up out of fear after the event mentioned above.

then explain the ny bartender. no one gave a shit about her augmented arms. no purists on her doorstep, no one talking shit about her, nothing.

Also to answer OP's question, it's because the prequels are focused on your character while the og game is focused on the world.
During both HR and MD you're looking for truths about yourself.

Human revolution = feels
Easy to understand for low IQ humans

Because Dx happens much later than MD?
It's like the twin towers, people get really angry and sensitive about it then time does its work.
Plus as I said before mech augs are rare by Dx time She's a former Unatco agent too.

Because you don't get a game to sell big $ $ $ that way

Because jews

Deus Ex was made by a relatively small team of autists for PC, so it had a bunch of stuff these people personally wanted to see in the game to flesh out the setting. It's obvious the writers had lots of thoughts on the subjects present, and a lot of information to draw parallels and make predictions too.
Now compare it to Eidos and Square Enix. These are big AAA companies with hundreds of people involved aimed at hundreds of millions of dollars in profits. There's no personal touch, there's no autistic interest in the subject, so the only things that are present are basic "who am I what's my past" drama and "muh racism and oppression allegories". HR and MD are good games, but this is a case of unironic soul vs soulless games.

1. The excessive taxes were due to ww2, where they were increased to exorbitant amounts to discourage war profiteering from companies receiving huge jumps in profits from developing weapons. There was a bill passed in 1945 that returned much of the nations tax rates back to normal.

2. Self employed because towns and businesses back then were far, far smaller, and therefore the jobs you'd have would be small scale lemonade stand tier businesses or freelance and therefore would be far more unreliable financially than a padded company job.

3. Dont really know a whole lot about the trilateral commission but I'm sure it's just more "free mason" conspiracy shit in disguise

HR/MD writers aren't fit to shoeshine the writers of the original Deus Ex.

"thinktanks" like the trilateral commission are places where the global elites get together to coordinate their world domination schemes. you can't honestly believe that all nations are sovereign and left to their own devices at this point without being either stupid or misled.

What was on the fourth panel?

Pearl Harbor 2

Daily reminder that the Adam Jensen in Mankind Divided is a clone plant by DuBeers and DuClaire created for the purpose of getting close to Janus who is actually Rand.

You can find the body of the original Adam frozen in a Versalife vault with his augs ripped out surrounded by debris from the Hyron project which was where you fought the final boss in HR. The timeline literally tells you this and you find the exact things they are talking about in a vault.

This has been your daily Deus Autism Reminder.
