If the legion wins, the legion is guaranteed to fail after Caesar's death
If Mr. House wins, Vegas will prosper the entire Mojave will become a hell-hole: same goes for the independent "Yes-man" ending. (Though it is implied that Yes-man will assert himself as a crazy robot dictator later on)

The only correct choice is the NCR. They stretch themselves thin and are corrupt, but are the best choice given.

Let's assume you're playing a high-INT courier, as you probably should be.

NCR is barely holding on as is thanks to the bureaucracy of Shady Sands. No way they'd be able to deal with the gangs of Vegas. Fuck, a bunch of morons overtook their own detention facility and formed their own gang out of it. Courier is only a rank-and-file soldier at the end, nobody of significant importanc eto the bigwigs in SS.

Legion has the issue where Caesar is the lynchpin holding the whole.fucking thing together. MAYBE the courier company extend that, but it's already fracturing even under Caesar's grasp. It's too big to keep itself going, and it keeps expanding.

Yes Man has the same.problem as Legion: courier dies, it's over.

House, however, is different. He has already protected the city for centuries AND established himself among the families. He has an army and resources, and with the courier at his side acting as advisor and middleman, the wasteland has a chance for true peace. House does not rule by greed; caps do not matter, only preservation. He's a perfectly demonstrated example of anti-impulsion.

Sure, but house is protected from the ravages of time in any case. Caesar isn't, he's already dying of a brain tumor. Courier will die eventually too. House's systems may one day fail, or he is betrayed after the courier dies, but he offers the best chance of all options.
