Even the cod/bf/halo games were good back them. Mw2, blops, bfbc2, halo 3 were all staples of their franchises and even now are looked back as being some of, if not the best games in their whole franchise.

I played video games since 4th generation along with the original Gameboy and I have to say that Seventh Generation is pretty great despite its issues like many shooters trying to copy Call of Duty and a lot of adventure games trying to copy Assassin's Creed
