And that's wrong how? I got a battletoaster that still uses a 750, it runs well everything except for the last one or two gens, very reliable but its getting old. Technology keeps going forward and really fucking fast, we either update or lag behind with the old stuff.
There are plenty of great old and low demanding new games but I'll have to upgrade someday soon if I want to try out the new titles.

I just use a machine I made to play games at 1080p at 60fps on high/max settings.
Did its job when I built it a few years ago, and in another five it'll still be truckin along fine because what you can do with 1080p graphics pretty much peaked years ago.

And yes, it uses ddr3.
It doesn't matter since what it was built for doesn't need anything faster, in fact anything faster would just be wasted on my machine with little if any performance increase.
