I'm playing on normal and can't beat the dual boss at the end of the Trial of Luminary (Gyldenhal+Oogie copies) because they keep putting my party members into dance mode or turning into gold statues before I can do anything.

A great rpg with a soundtrack consisting of 4 songs.

Trunks is fine, they manage to pull of the silent protagonist alright. He could even ha e been voiced since literally none of the yes or jo decisions matter...

I watched a bunch of the Dragonball episodes when they were on TV, but no I've never watched the whole thing and don't read mangos.

It's obviously a sex thing, but it's weird. ecause at one point an NPC is like "u want some puff puff" and the screen goes black. Pretty sure it's the girl in your pic or wearing the same outfit at least

It has a great soundtrack.
The problem is that there is absolutely no variety and chooses to only use 5 songs for 90% of the game.

Nah. You just grind an extra level or two and it goes from literal roulette to fun, engaging challenge. Having to grind for that sucks, but it's still a good mode.

Waiting for the switch version for 2D.

Men also have the accent as well. Yangus in DQ VIII talks in that accent. The accent works pretty well due to the setting the DQ series takes place in.

One of the best jrpgs I've played. Story literally breaks jrpg barriers and the gameplay is fun.

All companions are fun and colourfull. The protagonist is awfully dull and everytime anything revolves around him, it seems written like a fanfic or self-insert.

Good, but I dislike it due to the fact that they made it available to PC niggers.

I really enjoyed the post game, even though I do think it was absolutely retarded to go back in time after being warned multiple times how it could fuck everything up, and after that letting someone else go back in time.

I like DQ 11 a lot more than P5 man. Story and characters was ass in P5, everything after kamoshida was kinda shit. Gameplay and style was great though.

I haven't played it yet. I'm sure I would enjoy it but I feel like buying a vita for 1 game is a waste, I'm crossing my fingers for an eventual PS4 port

Too easy even with most hard mode settings on.
Enemies are too passive on the field and the areas are designed for you to be able to run past 98% of encounters.
Linear as fuck. DQ8 on PS2 had more freedom and choice in terms of where you wanted to go next.
Dogshit dungeon design.
Otherwise it was pretty good.
7/10 I had a truck full of fun with it.

Get a PSTV man, 50 dollars and plays all Vita games on the TV.

There is having a character that let's the player insert themselves into them, and then there is this travesty.
Everytime I see the protagonist I feel like he is some autistic kid that won a contest and now he has these actors around him that do a play for him in which he is the hero. He just stands there, not knowing what to do or so and everyone else is playing along no problem.

Devs are based by making the games still feel old school even in the newer games.

I do like they keep the combat classic while adding new mechanics to it and they still keep the sounds that play when you win the battle and level up really give the games and old school feeling even in the newer games.

The DQ series really feel like an ancient relic that still goes on strong. Its great that the series is still going on.
