The mech designs are terrible, but most games not explicitly based of some mecha source material like battletech and metal gear have terrible mech designs as well. So its not far below par.
Titanfall didn't start advanced movement, that was tribes. And for what its worth, the titanfall movement is pretty good because a lot of the maps are designed with it in mind. Its really not that complex, its just a double jump, a slide, and a wallrun, thats it.

Stanning is a verb derived from the depicted actions by the character that was written in Eminem's song, "Stan." A man goes so far as to question his own sexuality defending and lauding Eminem for his accomplishments.
To 'stan' for something is to defend and applaud a person, thing, or concept unconditionally.
