He has difficulty approaching but his advantage state is pretty easy to play, just make your opponent's life as hard as possible with well placed spikeballs, meanwhile racking up damage with poison so you can kill them with upthrow at ~150% for most middle weights.

Jump over Game and Watch and attack from above instead of trying to contest it with attacks from the front. Meta Knight could have gotten away from the third Up B by airdodging.

Because of the way buffering works, anyone with a good enough recovery can do this by holding down the jump button as Bowser is falling with you offstage (same for any other suicide kill that works off a command grab). Your character will doublejump frame 1 and from there you can up b.

He also dies if you fart on him offstage.

Don't know, but this one is just a result of Bowser killing a Yellow Pikmin that was attached to him as he dropped down.

Chrom only goes up and down with his up+b and you can go any other direction other than towards him in the air...Or if you're stubborn, predict his up+b and air dodge through it. Meta Knight also has an ability that travels that makes him intangible. Meta Knight player was a fool who used none of his tools to survive.

here, the meta knight could have air dodged out of the first UP B, on the second UP B he had 3 options(tilt out to avoid another UP B, spot dodge while downfalling to avoid the UP B, and UP B-ing himself on downfall to armor through and make it back to stage). on the third UP B, he had all those same optionsthat would have been safer since MK is a floaty character he would make it back to stage. Even when he falls to the bottom on the third UP B he had the option to up B to save himself while Chrom dies.
you can easily jump over this, as everyone is saying, isabelle has a fishing hook grab that powers through all of the meat, and she could pocket some as well as set her own projectiles.
ganan is constantly down B-ing and side B-ing back into the meat. he is trying to fight the meat. even when he gets a few brain cells to jump over it hes missing basic shit like dash-A and trying to use his sword while GW is off stage.
he spent the first 30s of this video not jumping on the platform, when he does make it on the platform he sits there like a duck in the opening for GW to kill him instead of running to the side or dropping down and punishing.

I think item play gets really boring and 1 note after a while. It's a great equalizer but it makes the people in the room feel like their characters are less important. Good for a few laughs with friends but as a party game everyone prefers Mario Kart and Mario Party. Smash doesn't feel like there's any progression taking place, which is why all my normalfag friends check out after a short while. I actually really like playing around hazard stages with some light item use but I've never enjoyed ramping up the bullshit, and fuck walk offs.
