Anyone still playing PS3 here? I installed CFW on mine and dumped a bunch of PS1, PS2...

I have an r5 2600 rx 580 and I can run it smoothly(stuttering and frame drops still happen due to unoptmized emulation) at 6k internal resolution. Your cpu is kinda slow for the emulator and you have way too much gpu for that but I think you'll be able to run it fine, even at 8k.

I have mine hooked up. I've started buying a bunch of games since they are cheap right now. Want to get as many as I can before the retro fags jack up the prices in 10 years.

like all emulation it depends on the build number and what game.

like Xillia 2 for example is fully beatable from start to finish with minimal slowdown as long as you play the US version. The EU version crashes a lot more for some reason.

Hacked CHECH-25XX with a 1TB WD10JPLX and renewed thermal paste over here. Life is good... I rarely boot it up.

I downgraded my slim with a E3 Nor Flasher to 3.55 years ago and installed Rebug CFW. Played a bunch of pirated games and had a good time but I haven't turned on my PS3 to play it in a while aside from watching Netflix or some DVDs I got laying around.

just beat NieR and DoD3 last year.
my PS3 still sees more use than my PS4 Pro.

>How good is the emulation?
Pretty damn good already, and gets better nearly each month. Some games are still broken, but at least DeS and Yoko Taro's game can be easily run on mediocre specs.
I'm personally still on mere i7 2600K and GTX 1060 6gb, and Drakengard runs steady 30fps at 1080p, once the shader cache's built.

I got fed up with the 720p blur vision resolution on these older consoles. Reading text in Persona 5 is a mess for the eyes. Patiently waiting for RPCS3 to mature a little more.

I have a hacked PS4. Am I the only one on Yea Forums that does this? Everyone else seems to cave and upgrade so they can play RDR2
