In every generation leading up to Gen 9, the company that sold the most consoles would win overall NPD sales because install base was limited to a single console per generation.
Now, with Xcloud, Gcloud, Acloud or whatever each company plans on calling their streaming service, the install base for these companies will skyrocket, meaning there is no longer a requirement to sell alot of consoles to be successful. If you have a phone, tablet, handheld console, home console, or PC you will be able to play them all.
