I've been playing some Freespace 2 mods. FS2 is still pretty much the best space game ever made, in large part because of how many mods and campaigns are available. Some people in the community recently made a program that downloads and installs mods for you, which is pretty cool.

It's pretty fun. The CO powers don't really seem to all be on an equal power level but that's sort of expected in Advanced Wars-like games. I just wish an actual Advanced Wars would come out 'cause the game does suffer from a low number of CO and Unit options.

Been playing Rain World thanks to the threads that popped up about it a couple weeks ago. it's very satisfying to make progress and explore, but gets frustrating at times.
When I've had my fill of bullshit deaths and my fingers cramping up from walljumping, I switch to Killing Floor 2, which is very relaxing to play now that I've got a couple thousand hours into it, plus it's having a beta for its cyberpunk event and there's lots of people playing so its easy to find servers.

Playing Ape Out, its Hotline Miami but you play as a gorilla on a rampage. The game is great, music is addicting and will mellow or intensify depending on if your killing the guards or not, and the art style makes a compelling case for video games as art IMO. It’s a cant miss!

Travis Strikes Again I both love and hate. Some levels like Golden Dragon GP and Damned Dark Knight are fun, especially since it brought back memories of going through Shadows but with some trivia about what the game went through behind the scenes. I loved the VN segments, and after a while the combat did hook me. But some levels really drag on for way too long, and this is the exact opposite of a newbie's introduction to NMH or GHM that Suda claimed it was, this is far more of a celebration of Grasshopper Manufacturer than anything with some references to works I still haven't played or finished yet.
Don't bother with BF1's campaign, it unironically peaks at the introduction.
