Does anyone here actually give a damn about analog triggers?

Outside of realistic racing games, they don't actually get much use.
I don't even like racing games, so they get like no use whatsoever in anything I play.

You gonna tell me that you prefer the mushiness of the DS4 triggers over a nice, simple satisfying click?

Yeah, it's good to have them. I'm sorry your favorite console doesn't, but that doesn't make them useless, it just makes you a self-centered cunt.

Nah they LITERALLY don't have a function outside of a handful of GC games and racing

this

Why is it good?

They were good for light shielding in Smellee

It allows for a range of inputs instead of just one. Especially useful for shooters, racing games and some puzzle games. You kind of want it there if you're emulating different systems.

Pro controller is superior in every way

with how few games actually use multiple inputs per trigger i'd rather just have a flat On/Off shoulder switch. I really don't want my buttons to have press and depress time. I use a pro controller 99% of the time when emulating and a dualshock or gamecube when i need to

Outside of PC, these functions don't get used. I can see why steam controller users might like them though.
Analog triggers are absolutely horrendous when used with gyro aiming though. It's a lot harder to keep the controller dead stable when using them.
