It was still infuriating in the first two games, but it wasn't so bad since the levels were much smaller - restarting a chapter cost you maybe an hour tops (which is already bad enough).
Here restarting the desert area literally means losing 9-10 hours of play time for me.

When I reload the game it puts me to that state.
I've tried:
>reloading a checkpoint
>killing myself
>falling into water
>getting grabbed by a mutant
>using a bed
Nothing fixes it.

Literally how? Boundaries are ridiculously obvious. The only thing I’ve “fallen” off of is stairs while going down them too fast.

fuck i want to love this game so much but it sucks compared to 2033 still
i really like the concept of small open world levels while still progressing, but i wanted more like Last Light when you get the car and there's optional danger side bits for loot or spooks or you can just drive right on through

now i can just magically make ammo at workplaces and there's no currency to risk shooting away then the game is so fucking pointless, I'm just hear for the too easy stealth and the odd predictable set piece
