I should clarify: I wasn't the user you were talking to earlier. I don't even own a switch and even I can tell you that there's no internet browser on it, though. Too many browser hacks on the Wii, Wii U and 3DS saw to it, more or less. You can look at photos, but they must be screenshots taken by the system. It's been shitposted to death by now. You seriously didn't know this already?

You can pause a Youtube video I guess, with the Youtube app that took 18 months to get on the Switch in the firs place

not really. The switch is too big to be a handheld and too weak to be a proper console. It's a shitty compromise and I really can't understand why people would buy it other than brand loyalty.
The joycons are a dumb idea and the fucking thing doesn't have a dpad.
If it had a 4-5" non-cancer screen and a proper control layout with a dock that contained a better GPU it would have been a great evolution of the WiiU/vita/3ds.

I haven't been following the switch at all until yesterday when my hopes of a vita port of persona 5 were crushed. Might get a switch for it though but you're seriously turning me off of the idea.

Can you play music/audio while playing games at least? That was great when I was chip grinding in MMBN3 on the vita, listened to pretty much the entire Yes discography on it.
Eurobeat while playing outrun is the best too.
It's a wide thick tablet with giant bezels user, it won't fit in a pocket, and thats without the two tumors on the side.
To me, a portable needs to be pocketable, there's no point otherwise.
What other console can play the entire Ys series, mgs1 2 3, all the trails games etc? As a port machine the vita is fucking based.

I’d pick a less saturated display that’ll last over OLED which looks awesome new but gets burn-in over time. Forget folding screens, microled is the true display innovation we need.

There have been mentions of a browser coming to it Eventually™. It can't do custom soundtracks even though it should. It's lacking a surprising number of features, but as a port machine it's getting a lot of the Wii U's games, so it's got its upsides. It took forever to get youtube, and there's still no netflix.

It's not as portable as most portables, but it's not a lug to carry around, either. The controllers add a lot to the width of the console, so disconnecting those and storing them somewhere else really cuts down on bulk. I don't like the Joycon's sticks personally: they aren't useless, but my fingers don't get along with them so it's personal preference. Get a pro controller for it if you buy one, IMO. Also it works with GCN controllers, so that option's available too.

That's retarded. On most racing games you can turn off the OST when you get sick of it and still get engine sounds. GT2 PS1 would be unplayable if I didn't have eurobeat or whatever in the background because I have every song in that game ingrained into my mind but I still like the ps1 engine noises, same with outrun 2006.

You're right, I'm still mad that the vita or even 3ds didn't get mania, and I'm mad the vita version of bloodstained got cancelled.
I played all the mega drive sonic games on handhelds it would have been nice to do the same with the vita.
