Left Alive

It seems good enough if you want a stealth game. And it looks to be difficult.

Most complaints can be summed up to:
>muh graphics, muh animations
>it's too difficult for me so it's shit

>gameplay look like shit
from people who didn't play it and only watched jap faggots who are utter shit at the game
and the ones who played it basically complain that it's too hard for them
>gameplay look like shit
because it's not a walking simulator, that's what retards expect, just walking through a corridor or open world and shooting brain dead enemies

Got it early. Did the first two missions. Deaths are really frustrating. They can set you back a lot. The melee weapons breaking are dumb. Pistol and SMGs are weak. Shotgun feels like the only gun worth using by itself. It's a 6.5/10 right now for me.

>>it's too difficult for me so it's shit

Hows the plot so far?

>no threads for this game before
>suddenly close to release
>all these fake hype threads
Hello shill-kun.

Have you played it? Gunplay is stiff.
>no takedowns
>have to combo with melee weapon

The plot is interesting. Voice acting for main characters are also good. Btw no jap voices.

This shit PS2 game doesn't get away with its trash animations just because it's not from a dev you hate

>Deaths are really frustrating. They can set you back a lot.
Can't you quick save like in the earlier Splinter Cell games?

There are checkpoints and a handful of savepoints in each level.

So far, it kinda reminds me of Alpha Protocol, for better or worse. Score's kinda overdramatic too

It bombed in Japan, and after hours of being released stores are selling it 3000 yens cheaper. I hope the NTSC-J version it's in english, I can't wait to buy it for 1000 yens on mercari in a few weeks.

Aside from the MGS and Tenchu games (I'm counting Shinobido among them), Japan has not produced a single good stealth game and even then MGS's quality as a stealth series is questionable considering that only 3 and GZ don't let story interfere with gameplay.

I'm not holding out much hope for Left Alive as a result.

I also got it early played the first two missions on the second hardest difficulty.

The game is breddy hard in a frustrating sense, because the stealth is very badly designed.
Only crouching, no laying down. If you get spotted the whole map knows where you are. The guards are deaf eagles and can spot you from miles away but you can run behind them in circles and they don't hear you. Because they are bullet sponges you can't kill them with your gun in any shape or for without alarting the others. Also the explodables are worthless because they trigger the other guards and don't kill the ones you want.

>The gameplay is shit

Maybe not shit but pretty bad, even the short mech sections want fun because it felt like you are controlling a MG and not a huge robot. Even MGS1 or Splinter Cell had had more options in the approach of the stealth.

>So far, it kinda reminds me of Alpha Protocol, for better or worse.
The gameplay and level design look significantly better than Alpha Protocol. Though that isn't much of an achievement.

How is the stealth in this? Can you hide bodies and other stuff?

VERY basic. You crouch and cover and change cover. No body hiding.

>muh
opinion discarded

>Left Alive
>more like Left Alone

Why do you copy others comments OP you brain damaged autist?
