>not even a month passed
>nobody talks about it
Why? It's a pretty good game.

Why? It's a pretty good game.
bump
The linear parts are good, the open parts are boring.
The first two games are better.
>looks like a ps2 game on ultra graphics
>controls are whack
>you're 0.3 foot in front of an enemy and he can't see you because shadows® and stealth®
Waiting for it to be released on PC next year.
its shit and they removed half of the guns from previous games
literally trash series, that isn't an exclusive or massively advertised for people to care for like all the trash games.
It's a linear fps with two small semi open-world segments and "down to earth" story, what did you expect?
>It's a pretty good game.
maybe if it was like 15$
taiga is what the game shouldve been entirely and be an actual open world game like stalker
The linear segments were the best. Game is riddled with bugs though.
>not even a month passed
??
I can't find it on steam.
>pirate it
>play it for about 1 hour
>uninstall
I feel bad for the people who actually paid money for this, especially the ones who bought it from the epic store since they won't get a refund.
i usually love their games but fuck em they handles this disgustingly
Do you live under a rock, dumbass?
It's a linear singleplayer shooter, I can't imagine there's much to say. I'll play it when it's a fiver. I actually never got around to number 2 so I'm not eager to play it yet.
it's actually dogshit.
>Epic store
>creator of the series said they've ruined it with this installment
>publisher threatens people for not buying it
>by all accounts the worst in the series by a significant margin
>remove the unique ammo as currency system
>make it open world and shit on the concept of claustrophobic tunnel adventures
I don't even care about the Metro series, but when even hardcore shills are saying that it doesn't match up it's a sign that the series is dead
>make it open world and shit on the concept of claustrophobic tunnel adventures
Is this really open world? Legit had no idea, but I () am 100% out. Why do devs do this?
>publisher threatens people for not buying it
What does this mean?
Partial open-world, you have tunnel sections between open world areas, Dying Light style
In response to the epic store controversy, the dev (not publisher) said the below:
> I can only say that they were not our players either, they are not interested in our work, which means that, for example, the opinion of such people is not interesting for me either, if at all all the PC players announce a boycott of the Metro, then the next Metro, if it does, is definitely not on the PC. Better or worse, decide for yourself.”
Taiga felt like the worst part if you wanted the good ending since you couldnt kill anyone. The bits with the bunker/mine and bear were good though.
I'm a normie user I can't spend my life here like you.
I'm so sorry, I just read that its a epic store exclusive. That's sad, I'm not going to buy it now.
Nice. I can't think of a single dev with good customer relations. I don't buy Tripwire games anymore because of the shitshow of a launch that was Red Orchestra 2. I'd probably have enjoyed Killing Floor 2 but I find them to be intolerable.
Could you perhaps explain what was the issue with the RO2 launch?
There's 3 maps I think that are "open world" but actually during that Children of the Forest stuff I literally just ran towards the end because I didn't even feel like exploring anymore.
First map was really promising, the bunker with cannibals too, everything afterwards (and the ending) felt pretty average, and too short.
I got the ending where Miller dies, Anna is cured, Artyom lives and Alyosha is on a wheelchair
I think it's the somewhat-good one, but really the game just ends too abruptly. I definitely wanted to see more, but it just fucking ends. If they continue the story with DLC I'm gone murder some niggas
It was basically just a broken piece of shit that the devs blamed on the players.
Performance was a trainwreck which the devs said was entirely down to the userbase's PCs and that they weren't at fault before releasing a patch that fixed everything like 2 weeks later.
Bugs all over the place, some classes not levelling, other classes gaining 10's of levels or just maxing out after one game. Eventually they just did a complete XP wipe for the game at which point I lost interest.
Bunch of small shit was missing from the game that they said would be there. In fairness nothing gameplay wise, but I'd rather devs didn't promise and not deliver.
I'm sure the Vietnam thing was originally to be a free mod and obviously wasn't, but don't quote me on that one. In the end it was the other way round (but the Vietnam one and get the base game free).
ohk thank you for the insight. The game was bought for me as a gift when it first came out but I didnt play it till years later so I missed out on all the drama I suppose.. I really disliked RS so didnt really play much of it. Ive heard RS2 aint all that great either though.
I'm sure these days it's fine and fun. I did get Rising Storm in the end and got back into it for a little while but didn't enjoy it either. The game in general wasn't as good as RO1 I don't think and the playerbase didn't work as a team as well. After the stats reset none of the people working hard as a team leader could do it anymore without the unlocks.
The game was OK, but Rising Storm wasn't any part of what I did like about it.
The part where you cuddle with Anna in the Aurora is nice. A western game would never have that.
All of the interactions with Anna got me sad as shit
>no postgame where you build a settlement, have kids with Anna and live a happy life
I just wanted to roam a deserted city covered in snow, not feel like shit.
>you are autistic
Basically a console port with no FoV slider
Well i finished it yesterday. And the only thing i REALLY hated in it was the 2nd bear fight. So stupid, you have to guess that you need to be near the edge to trigger a cutscene. Other than that, yeah i loved the game. Too bad they shot themselves in the foot with stupid Epic Store.
No they are the worst. I dont need videogames to remind me I have no gf
obviously they will make more, with that in mind i assume.
>almost end of the game
>fucking King Kongs start appearing out of nowhere
What the fuck
Wasn't on steam and I still haven't bothered clearing space to pirate it yet.
Its not available for purchase
It was an okay game, but nothing special. I can't pinpoint what I exactly disliked about it and I enjoyed the previous games more. Especially Metro 2033.
