yes

no

maybe

its alright

i dont know

no
gameplay is exactly the same shit as in 1

what was the question?

Perhaps

The answer you seek...and the journey...depend entirely upon YOU.

youre not the boss of me now

yes he is

Life is unfair

Is it good?
Or is it that all the other games in this new cancerous genre managed to be so incredibly shit that it's ok by comparison? You decide.

the gameplay in 1 was pretty great though.

It's a looter shooter... not much to say about it.

its literally the same game as the first
thatll be 100$ + tip

not really

REMINDER AND A HEADS UP: ANYONE, and I really do mean ANYONE, that says "its the same shit as 1 blablabla" is a BioDrone shill desperately trying to save Anthem. Division 2 is so different from 1 it literally every single aspect other than the fact that you're an agent and you shoot guns. The movement is different, the skills are different, the locations are different, your objectives are different, the missions are VERY different, the story is different, every single gun that carries over feels different, sounds/music/UI/UX is different.

It's literally like me saying every zelda is the same because theres a dude named Link and a girl named Zelda in it, or every Mario is the same because you jump and collect coins with a dude named Mario.

Found the dev

I wouldn't know because I can't fucking log on right now

>It's literally like me saying every zelda is the same because theres a dude named Link and a girl named Zelda in it, or every Mario is the same because you jump and collect coins with a dude named Mario.
So it's literally the same game but for toddlers?

>empty mag
>reload
>empty mag
>reload
>empty mag
>reload
>enemy finally goes down
>repeat
Did this shit get any better after release? Most boring shit ever.

>that pic
I'd preorder in a heartbeat.

>Did this shit get any better after release?
nope worse

I played Division 1 at launch and now the beta of this. The gameplay feels more involved and less sit behind cover and dump 2 mags into a generic thug wearing a hoodie. I don't know if that's how the first game ended up after years of patches, but it definitely feels different.

I found it boring when playing by myself.
with friends it's half way decent

Still prefer the atmosphere from D1 though.

no
they slightly, extremely slightly lowered the TTK for normal dudes, but the elite enemies still swallowed 6 mags like it was nothing

yes. I had fun, I'm getting it. I got my money's worth from 1

and people still deny ubi shills here
just look at >453067358

New skills, or rather what little they showed in the demo, are fun, but holy fuck ubisoft still can't get in their heads that using skills and gadgets is more fun that shooting shit. Every single skill have cooldown of infinity making pretty average gunplay a chore between fun moments of sniping faggots with a turret or making bomb runs with the drone.

no one denies ubishills aside from ubishills, everyone already knows, we have known it for years now

drone felt boring to me
too high of a cooldown for too little

its actually worse in 2
now you have to shoot down the armor parts before doing damage

Except without the great snowy aesthetic. Dropped.

Exactly my point. Landing a good bombing run felt fucking awesome, but the 120s, or was it 180, between uses is a fucking disgrace. Drone should be like 30s, maybe 45 tops.

The highest rated version will get at least 13 more points than Anthem on the PS4.

christmas NYC was literally the best part of the first game
>snowstorms in the dz
>cant see shit
>bump into other groups
>cant decide whether to shoot them or run
cant do any of that in d2 since they fucked up the dark zones

that would make the game too easy so they'd have to make enemies bulletsponges
drone probably will be useless in high-level content because it will either be shot down by enemies or they just swallow the bombs like gummy-bears

i honestly thought the same but the longer i played it the more i kinda enjoyed it. doesn't beat the comfy of division 1 but it has its own dreary atmosphere and really makes DC feel like the humid, swampy shithole it truly is.

it happens with rain and fog whenever it passes through, that yellow cloud shit in the dark zone makes it worse as well.

It's worse than the first one. Runs like shit, controls like shit, feels like shit.

you break one armor part and then they go down in 3 bullets. try aiming.

Seems ok enough. Probably decent fun with friends and since the TTK appears to be lower the grind should be less painful.

Will probably play the story campaign to completion at least.

Wait this is out?
Was it even announced?
Is Solipsism true?

Open beta is out. The game is out on the 15th.

Yes

tip: play end-game characters you unlock (the 30 ones) and run the missions a few times and collect MODS for your abilities, especially cooldown reduction mods. My drones is on a 12 SECOND cooldown and my turrent is on a 10 secocnd cooldown.

It's a RPG filled with stats and you can make your character in any way you want. If you dont like shooting things too much, build around it.

why should I skip the only content the game has?

>complain about ability cooldowns
>gets told on how to reduce them
>complain again that youre now somehow skipping the content

I sometimes forget how stupid the average person on Yea Forums is. Thanks for reminding me.

you're just pretending right?

It's exactly the fucking same as the first game.

u

gameplay-wise its perfectly fine, the problem is that the setting is so much less interesting than the last game.

also none of the new factions are interesting

Ehhh, having sunk a ton of time into 1 and played both the closed beta and the open one, it's still pretty similar. Not enough that I'd say this could have been an expansion, they do futz enough with the mechanics to where it's technically different. But it is still pretty close to the first game, enough that if you didn't enjoy that one you won't magically enjoy this one either.
I'm still going to get it though.

>city with no snow
yeah how boring

Shills spotted

DOOD ORANGE GUNS ARE RAD BUT BLUE GUNS ARE SHIT, I LIKE REPLAYING IDENTICAL MISSIONS XD

what a totally shit genre

>tap Q to fire foam launcher
>instead of pulling it out and aiming i just shoot the cover i was hiding behind
>hold Q to fire foam laucher
>get to aim but now im stuck holding the launcher till i hit Q again

i don't know why but using abilities feels much less fluid than it did in 1.
also double-tapping Q to deploy your turret doesn't place the turret on top of cover anymore, it just places it at your feet.

every single game involves replay

Depends if the ability power will be fucked. But so far for end game the sonic shield and armor heal variations of a drone would be better, mostly because it is super awkward to land the good bombing run with how aiming controls work and enemies freak out and run away.
