It's kinda a janky port, at least on PC. Typical for KT though.
I was getting the desync'd audio on cutscenes myself, but I fixed that by going into the nvidia control panel and changing the game's power management setting to prefer max performance. Seems like I have to do that with a lot of jap games.
Some of the story levels still won't fucking load after the cutscene though, and I haven't narrowed down why yet. All the actual game stages seem to play fine outside story.

Use as much of the tools that the game gives you. The tutorial is pretty good and combo training will at least give you some ideas on which moves to use for what. Like certain moves being launchers, trackers, etc.
Once you have more of an idea of what to look for in a move, the skill info box will help a lot. It gives you everything you need from frame data to distance measures.

Is anyone playing the game at 4K on the PC? Do you guys feel like the game looks blurrier than other games at 4K? I feel like this game has built-in TAA or FXAA into the options and it's getting a blurrier picture because of it. I played Soul Calibur 6 and the IQ is a lot crisper?

I also highly recommend playing the game on SSD if you can. Load times are about 2-3 seconds and near instantaneous.

And unfortunately, it's impossible to run the game at 4K60 maxed out on a 2080. You'll need a 2080TI for that. I've noticed if you set the shadows to 2x for characters and 2x for environments, you can get it to 57-60. But, I can't tell the difference between 1440P and 4K with the game, either.

So is the loading issue exclusive to me or is it a normal PS4/Xbox? If no one else is getting it I'll reinstall.

All the responses I get are Pro, X and PC. I'm on a regualr Xbone and the loading times are awful and online often gets stuck on the prefight loading screen and forces me to reboot.

I heard it can get stuck if an opponent disconnects while loading. Never had it happen to me though. Load times are pretty bad on all consoles. How long are yours (when it works)?

I assumed the online getting stuck was people quitting, although it's strangly frequent. I just timed it out, I get 15 seconds from title sreen to main menu, 33 seconds from character select to fight and 15 seconds from the end of the fight to the menu. It's not super long but it gets really annoying when you're doing this between relatively short fights, on top of waiting for opponents and rebooting the whole game when it gets stuck every third fight or so.

It's a little better than 5 (they actually figured out how f-stops work) but it still sucks (kinda limited on where you can position the camera and can't really control focus distance aside from switching character focus with LB). Okay so I was playing with my GF and we found a rather silly cheese exploit with Mila where you can infinitely stunlock an enemy to death if you catch them with her knee strike (it's forward K I think). Is there someway to break out of this? It's annoying as fuck since it inflicts a critical stun and the only way out is if the Mila player shows some mercy on you and punches you away from her.

How? I couldn't do anything because the move doesn't knock you back to give you some breathing room and you're stunned for a whole second and Mila can use it again and again with very little wind up. The only counter I've done against it so far is prevent Mila from getting near you that close in the first place. This is as annoying as Anakaris' screen wide crouch punch from Darkstalkers

GPU usage seems reasonable. CPU related stutters happen when some shit happens if you are below recommended.

Story mode is separated from Arcade. Arcade is just the classic set of 2 out of 3 round matches and then you get a ranking at the end. it's something you can play while the game searches for ranked matches in the background.

lol a lot of people think Kasumi is easy to use because she's extremely fast and the protagonist but in reality she's only easy against other newbies because her speed and long strings suits mashing in an environment where mashing works. In reality she is one of the most unsafe characters so you need to do a lot of mix ups to use her and you need good execution to get good damage out of her launchers.

The easiest character to use in the whole game is Hitomi, she is the most straightforward. Easy strings and combos, fast, good damage, safe, no gimmicks. If you want a character with emphasis on speed like Kasumi but easier try Christie.

Elliot can be. He's simple does a lot of damage and for the most part has easy things to execute. He's particularly great because when you get to the higher end of his skills, he requires a good deal of execution like one-frame inputs. Overall, he's a character you get better with as you as a player improve. Good guide character I would say.
