Dunno if you wanna count Kairi but the text really wasn't necessary
>Friend tells me Kingdom Hearts 3's ending is good
>Sora dies in the end
How the fuck is that a good ending?
Because when Sora dies, he can enter a better Nomura setting
Ventus
Aqua
Terra
Roxas
Xion
Namine
Eraqus
Which makes 7.
this is now a thread for sharing cute fan art
There's heavy implications throughout the game that he'll be reborn, that's why he dies at the end.
like riencarnated or brought back to life?
He probably meant the boss rush with remixes of everyone’s old themes and Xehanort’s fight looking very good visually
Where the fuck is the Ultimania translation?
Eraqus was never part of the equation, only a nod to the player in blank points that he may be sleeping. He wasn't even a character teased as someone to save or even a goal for the characters so that's pushing it
He didn't die when attacked by Xehanort back in BBS, his heart was absorbed by Terra. The fact that he came back (if only to take Xehanort to light heaven) before the game ended meaning he was a heart saved by Sora.
No one dies in Kingdom Hearts. I only count it as a death when they straight up get their ass beaten and don't show up ever again and their heart is destroyed.
He's been translating stuff.
I want to use this keyblade!
haha this is the worst
>he didn't watch the secret ending
Has any one in KH ever truly had their heart destroyed/erased.
Ansem Being a heartless and getting murdered meant nothing because he got a nobody. So being a heartless and dieing is not perma death, seeing how sora did this too.
Then you have nobodies. Who Get as many retries as they fucking want. Which is just absurd. The only ones I can truly think would be dead would be the key-blade wielders of the first war. Buuuuuut all the masters are alive, which means there is a possible chance the wielders are all alive too.
If we're talking OCs, then not many.
If we're talking actual Disney characters who've managed to turn into heartless, then quite a lot.
that's the worst part of the game. it shows all the bosses are woefully unfinished with no phases & not even half the amount of moves they should have. they just shoved them all in together because they couldn't finish them.
Is that Roxas or Ventus?
Show me the necklace.
For all intents and purposes, Xehanort and Eraqus are now dead. No telling if they'll find some way to bullshit them back into the series though.
FUCK FUJOS!
Kairi is a cunt. She saves Sora by doing the least amount of work possible "just wishing" and Sora has to actually fight the Lich Heartless to physically save everyone. I mean I knew Kairi is a shit friend to Riku, but seeing her just not care about the others and leave Sora to do the difficult part of actually saving everyone? What a cunt.
replace Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Riku with Namine, Xion, Roxas, Terra. I suppose the seventh is Lea's in the sense that you're saving his closest friends and thus "saving" his heart. I know I'm reaching here but I don't get how that line makes sense any other way. Seven hearts _to save_
>UNGA BUNGA HAPPY ENDING
"No!"
>Riku
Why? I mean it'd almost canon if it was Isa so why not use him?
gimme a Coco world
So long as Nomura writes Sora he is DOOMED as a character in any narrative. I didn't used to hate Sora, but it took KH2, Dream Drop Distance, and recently KH3 to make me officially never again care about this retard who is only retarded BECAUSE Nomura retconned him to be this inhumane moronic never maturing abomination. And thank Namine? In-universe Namine is the one who made Sora retarded. Last time Sora showed some slight common sense was in CoM. If anything to hell with Namine and she should have stayed dead. Trouble making whore that Nomura used to ruin the protagonist.
Fire Nomura already.
because sometimes fan artists have to fill in the personality of bland characters themselves
You know looking at this picture. I want the next game to be Donald, Jose, and Pnchito teaming up to journey and find Sora. And Coco as a world is perfect for that trio if you know what I mean. 3 Caballeros baby! And that recent cartoon series they had was excellent too bad Disney is shit and wanted Gurl Powah Webby Takes Over Ducktales Shit.
It's kino, shut up you brainlet.
No- he doesn't? Did you actually finish the game?
I wouldn't put it past the fucker to revive the only two people who are actually dead
Xehanort's part of the saga is over. But I expect the other masked fuckheads to come back later.
But is it? Maybe defeating the next villain requires the help of xehanort or something lmao
I think sora would probably be an animal. It would be funny if Donald and Goofy showed no changes.
I fully expect Xemnas to return, dunno about Xehanort.
2 and 3 really seemed to drive home that he had attained his own personhood separate from Terra and Xehanort.
It's not necessarily lying. The entire tutorial takes place after Sora disintegrates and before he wakes up in the secret ending. Who knows which 7 hearts it could be referring to.
Who even watches nu-Ducktales?
Yeah....don't feel sorry for Sora. He stupidly chose to ignore Mickey warning him about the power and chose to get erased out of reality. It may not be death but it's still not something I feel any sympathy for. Sora chose to be stupid when he didn't need to and there you go.
Why does Japan love this stereotype of the stupid protagonist who needlessly chooses the stupidest of decisions to carry out a plan? I wish KH was written by the guy who did Digimon Tamers, he knew how to write kids and teens.
Fuck Nomura for missing this opportunity
STAPPPPPPPP IIIIIIIIIIIIIIT
Unfortunately it has decent ratings from what I see, and same to new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Black April. So these garbage shows have an audience.
At least he managed to make Riku an interesting, dynamic character with an actual character arc.
As for me, I stopped liking Sora after 2. No fucking teenager acts like that; my suspension of disbelief can only go so far.
Some characters are off limits. Oswald for one. Disney also doesn't care about Goof Troop's extended characters so no Peg or PJ and obviously no Max.
>ressurects Sora and physically rewinds time despite being killed
>least amount of work possible
OK
I thought that turned out be a mistranslation from the Ultimania, and it's only his speech at the end of the opening cinematic that take place after the ending?
The pilot was OK but I haven't seen anything since.
>rewinds time despite being killed
Sora did that with the power of awakening, not Kairi.
Either way she's no longer a character but a plot device that occasionally saves Sora through the power of badly-written, bullshit deus ex machina plot mcguffins.
>The tutorial is set after the prologue but before the bonus ending
The first season is pretty miserable since they drop any pretense of focusing on Scrooge or Donald. The second season is only better because Scrooge and Donald aren't relegated to fanservice.
And ironically KH1 Sora wasn't so infantile. In fact I can't think of any moment in KH1 where Sora acts kiddy and infantile like how he does since KH2 and forward. Think about it, while KH3 Sora smiles at Tigger bouncing him, KH1 Sora is semi-frustrated that this random Tigger bounced on him and you can see his frustration even in his Low Poly Face. Nomura ruined Sora and my biggest fear is Sora is going to get older and older, but his personality is still infantile (think like Snow from FF13).
Say what you will about Ash from Pokemon, but at least that nigga is forever 10 years old so him being immature and stupid learning the same basic lessons all the time is kind of is semi-tolerable (though he's still a shit character). And it helps Pokemon does NOT have a continuous storyline while Kingdom Hearts does.
He's free of the franchise. No more Disney worlds. No more pain. No more suffering. All of the other OCs are safe and happy, except for Kairi, who deserves to be alone.
How is that not the happiest ending ever?
Fuck the secret ending. This is the end of the story.
Pretty sure Naminé confirms that was 100% Kairi using her Pure Heart of Light abilities on a much more massive scale.
Kairi should have died and Sora learns that sometimes you have to accept death. Would have actually been better than us now stomaching how many annoying Youtubers keep on ranting in their vids about KH3 about how abused or mismanaged Kairi was and how she has potential that Nomura fails to see and shit like that.
Every single time I watch a KH3 vid and I see these losers complain at any point about Kairi in KH3? I thumb them down. Fuck these failures. So sick of their forced "Must make Kairi Gurl Powah!" shit.
Really, they ACTUALLY doubled down on the Hewey Dewey Louie and the obligitory girl route? Lame. No wonder it dropped off my radar entirely after the pilot. Sad.
Agreed. IMO, KH1 Sora was actually pretty likable and came off as an actual, charming Disney character because he was a kid who acted his age. After 2, I just couldn't like him anymore after he gets his growth spurt. Sure he had the excuse of having years of his life taken away, but the fact that he hasn't changed since then is some pretty shitty writing. I genuinely wonder if Nomura is autistic or something.
>implying that perma-killing her off wouldn't have caused an even greater shitstorm
It's worse than that, the triplet's mother Della Duck is an irresponsible cunt and she's portrayed as this AWESOME adventurer type mother character and no one thinks of her as the cunt that she is. A cunt who recklessly stole a rocket that Scrooge made for a joyride and ended up lost in space. And yet everyone blames Scrooge for this instead of the cunt who stole an unfinished rocket.
She does feel like wasted space since she's literally supposed to be an OC version of a Disney Princess, after all. Still, even Disney Princesses get character development and have character flaws. Kairi just accidentally warps the fabric of space and time by being in close proximity to Sora.
Maybe if she got a Protagonist role of her own where she actually faces conflict we could do something with her character other than making a pitiful attempt to convince fujos that Sora is straight.
This is autism. The fact that you ignore that Sora lost over a year of his life and no memory of Castle Oblivion, you pretend he should be somber and sad when he doesn't fucking remember ANYTHING and is just happen to see Donald and Goofy again.
Yeah, but Sora didn't know that at the time. As far as he knew, he got mugged on the crossroads and suddenly a year has gone by.
I wouldn't even be mad.
Ansem had a great resolution, Young Xehanort served his purpose, but Xemnas could be expanded upon.
How's Xemnas gonna come back?
Especially after DDD basically turned his entire motivation into a giant fucking lie.
What was the point of building the artificial Kingdom Hearts again, if the plan was to fill the Organization with Xehenorts? Why didn't the plug get pulled on that the minute everyone started killing each other in Castle Oblivion and the numbers were lost? What in the actual hell was Xemnas actually trying to accomplish in KH2, if we accept the retcon?
>Either way she's no longer a character but a plot device that occasionally saves Sora through the power of badly-written, bullshit deus ex machina plot mcguffins.
Tell me about it. Imagine if the next game (confirmed to not be a mainline numbered entry) was about Kairi and Riku working together to find Sora? But the secret ending has me convinced that it will primarily be about Sora and Riku again. I'd say that Nomura just doesn't enjoy and/or isn't good at writing women, but he hit it out of the ballpark with Aqua
>Either way she's no longer a character but a plot device that occasionally saves Sora through the power of badly-written, bullshit deus ex machina plot mcguffins.
Just like in KH1 then?
>he hit it out of the ballpark with Aqua
Explain how. All she does is bitch at her friends, then complains about not having her friends around when they leave.
That and she fucks up reuniting with them in Hollow Bastion and has Terra run off again because she can't keep her mouth shut.
She had some actual personality back then. She showed potential and promise back then as well. But KH3 has basically ruined her and whatever potential she could have as a future main character.
That's over half of KH's cast though.
To be fair, I'd say the only well-written characters are Riku, Roxas Xigbar, Axel and maybe Xehanort.
Well, it's mostly after the fragmentary passage stuff when we see her at her lowest point that I feel like she really grew as a character. That having been said, she at least had agency and genuinely put her life on the line, rather than get kidnapped and glassed
She's in the fucking Realm of Darkness long enough to lose her fucking Keyblade, and you expect her to take on characters that are basically better rested and still able to summon their Keyblades?
>Who knows which 7 hearts it could be referring to.
The Foretellers + MoM!
JUST STAAAAAAAHP
X-BLADE
He was using Sora to build up his Kingdom Hearts, after it was complete he was going to kill him and rebuild his numbers. Not that complicated.
I just got to the land of departure. Am I almost done.
Reminder that there's already Sora x Flynn porn.
surely kairi will be useful and do something next game
REPLICAS AND FRIENDS.
>He didn't get the secret ending
People are retarded when it comes to Aqua's performance in 3.
She should have been used as a tutorial level since she's new
>Wasn't shot by Xigbar
Missed moment.
>Dude just go fuck around in the Disney world's for no reason, while everyone else does all the important stuff lmao
>dude kingdom hearts should be about disney again like 1
>DUDE WTF WHY IS IT JUST DISNEY WTF 2FM IS /LITERALLY/ THE GREATEST GAME EVER MADE WHAT NO I HAVENT PLAYED IT BUT
The point was to learn the power of waking and power himself back up.
>Missing the point
In 2 there was story importance in those worlds as well as the typical Disney wank. III there was no reason for them to interfere with the plots and the Organization only got involved when Sora showed up The Carribean is the ultimate "Fuck you" where you're just on a fetch quest while Jack is doing the movie plot without you.
>Importance to the worlds
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Organization XIII meddling had no fucking purpose.
I do love the Carribean storyline for how fucking perplexed the Organization is about Davy Jones' existence, only to have to come to terms with the fact that a Kingdom Hearts' heart and an ACTUAL heart are completely different things and leaving in disgust
I made a nort animation meme because I'm always a slut for evil old men.
No, it DID establish the fact that the protagonists can't avoid the war by simply refusing to fight and leaving Aqua and Ven to rot by asserting the fact that they'll just round up more Disney Princesses if they get impatient.
What? You talk shit about III's Carribean when in II literally nothing important happens. Pete and Luxord don't even have a reason to be there in II. Like, the world is inconsequential in both games but at least III tries to tie it into the plot. You literally go there in II for NO REASON and the bad guys are there to fuck with Sora and friends just because lol.
Allegedly he needed the power of the fake KH to Nort people since he didn't actually have Xehanort's heart in him or something.
>She had some actual personality back then.
Fuck whoever wrote 2.
This picture made me wonder, where's Roxas staying since he got brought back to life, did he just take Sora's room since he's dead for the time being? For that matter, what the fuck did they tell Sora's parents after he fucking died?
remember when axel was a cold blooded murderer and deaths meant something in this series?
And Sora STILL ended up having to be the one who did everything important but only after 20 hours of fucking about.
yeah classic gag
The old mansion most likely
why do black people like kingdom hearts so much
every black person I know that was even remotely interested in videogames beyond a surface level was super into kingdom hearts
I don't get it
Actually that was established in DDD. What KH3 did was put a face to it and showed the people and lives at stake rather than just tell.
Eraqus and Xehanort both passed on in this game, along with any of Xehanorts other selves.
Also that one namesless guy in 1 you see in Traverse Town turn into a heartless in the cutscene. You guys remember that guy right? That fucker is straight up dead now.
the seasalt trio(+Isa) got their happy ending and that's all that matters
>No one dies in Kingdom Hearts
There is a world that is an entire graveyard. Vanitas, Ansem, and Xemnas all died before 3. Xehanort himself is dead.
Maybe whoever Roxas' parents were in the fake TT have the same connection to him as HPO.
Not to be stereotypical but maybe it's the shoes.
Childhood nostalgia.
The series became a shitshow after 2. Now it's just shadow of what it once was.
Holy shit, that's right, anyone who gets Darked without making a Nobody just fucking dies when you kill their Heartless, no resurrection for them.
>Vanitas
>died
He's literally a hivemind. So long as Unversed exist he can rebuild himself.
He time traveled to the present into a replica, confirmed in the ultimania.
Nomura confirmed that the tutorial of the game including the lines Sora says during the opening are from the end of the game after he has saved Kairi and that it is a representations of Sora's thoughts and feelings after he has saved Kairi and is in the process of disappearing from this world.
He also confirmed that the place Sora wakes u in the secret ending is a completely different world and not in the KH universe anymore, but it's also not in TWEWY's Shibuya.
Source: Ultimania translations
Must be really awkward for PJ since his dad is willingly working for someone that wants to take over their world.
What? He literally says in Monstropolis that his Unversed collected enough scream energy to reform his body. What the fuck is Nomura talking about?
SENA mistranslation
>not in the KH universe anymore
Smash hype!
Bullshit, show your proof.
So... who else didn't see this coming?
The fuck how come it's not 'Shibuya' of TWEWY, that's bullshit, it's literally the same.
Because Sora is fucking garbage.
This is actually one of the few things that were foreshadowed well, i just wasn't sure if he'd be Luxu or MoM.
Ultimania translations have been getting debunked as false or contradicting others translations. Best to wait a bit for things to settle down. For example Demyx wasn't shown in the end for a reason and Ava confirmed not the girl Axel is friends with were both confirmed fake.
Also some twitter character fags have been doing dumb fake shit to make their characters better.
>Eraqus cheated at chess and started using magic
What a shitter.
He said it's not, he also said that some fans have speculated that Verum Rex is related to a project he worked in the past (avoiding to mention the name "Versus XIII") but that this isn't true either.
Nomura is just fucking with us because no way in fuck Verum Rex isn't connected to Versus.
>The fuck how come it's not 'Shibuya' of TWEWY, that's bullshit, it's literally the same.
I think it's a way to say that it's not canon to TWEWY and that maybe it functions differently when it comes to the Reaper's Game. Probably so Sora can get to participate with Luxord's card as his fee or something.
>For example Demyx wasn't shown in the end for a reason and Ava confirmed not the girl Axel is friends with were both confirmed fake.
Those were the only fake ones and were debunked half an hour after they were posted.
Based and cute pilled
but he and his several literal clones are the biggest gay on the universe.
He always had way more agency than was ever really befitting someone in his position. Even though he was pretty much Xehanort's first lackey, it never really made sense that he knew so much about what was going on and a lot of the weird stuff he said. That out of the way, I'm a brainlet so it was out of left field for me. To be fair, it's never really let on that anyone other than Xehanort could hop bodies and even then he had an incredibly roundabout way of doing it. Luxu seems to be just be able to possess people freely.
There have been mistranslations since then. Those were the two big ones that were blatant lies.
Like is there anything to other franchise that KH makes canon? What you imply by this, is there any game that has direct relationship with KH franchise?
Nomura is a hack.
>Luxu seems to be just be able to possess people freely.
That's a scary though. Just imagine, your friends see as yourself one day and the next you act like a completely different person, with no way to fight back.
Toy Story movies apparently said the game was canon between 2 and 3.
He didn't say that in my country's translation.
>all these deletions
I wonder who
>He always had way more agency than was ever really befitting someone in his position. Even though he was pretty much Xehanort's first lackey, it never really made sense that he knew so much about what was going on and a lot of the weird stuff he said.
This. He was just suspicious in vanilla KH2 but by the time 2FM came out (and then when he got more and more screentime) it was almost certain he was getting build up for something. And then in KH3 he outright says "May your heart be your guiding key" and that sealed the deal.
I think Luxu just picks people with weak wills. Xehanort made that mistake twice when even Riku fought back against Ansem but he wasn't as strong and still got booted in the end. Which reminds me, how did DiZ save Riku from the RoD in CoM? Did he just pull Riku's heart into his empty body that he just found lying around after Ansem's defeat?
Nomura is lying in order to not ruin the surprise.
Again, proof, a screencap, something.
??? You want a non-english proof or some shit? You want me to take screenshots of every second he is on screen for you? All the while you can't even read what he is saying because its not in English?
Are you out of your fucking mind? I'm relaxing on a Saturday night, if it tickles your autism so much go and search for it yourself retard.
Braig's personality doesn't change from when we're introduced to him, so I think it's fair to assume he's been Luxu this whole time. It's kind of weird because logically, you would think it would make sense for Luxu to just possess his student every time he gets a new one. He was Xehanort, Eraqus, and Yen Sid's master and all three of them were exceptionally powerful Keyblade wielders. So why not choose one of them instead of finding some random person?
Even when he said that I still didn't know. I thought he had heard Xehanort say it and was just repeating him.
I'm fairly sure Mickey and Riku were just in their original bodies by the time CoM was rolling around. Riku helped Mickey close the door from that side. Doesn't the light cleanse Ansem from Riku to the point where he can use his body again?
So you have none, cool. What was the point of your little shitpost then?
I saw something coming, but I had no idea he'd end up being this important down the line.
>MoM
Demyx is gonna be the Master of Masters. Or at least directly related to him in some way.
Somehow dialing the clock back to Max being a kid entering adolescence with Goofy recounting his fights and adventure, sounds like an infinitely more fun game than KH3
Because they ended up even stronger than he expected and unlike with Terra for Xehanort, he knew couldn't take over their hearts and bodies.
The only thing that made me really question Xigbar was him deciding to just fall off the ledge when he was defeated in his battle. Only because I did the mickey fights first and saw Marluxia, larxene and Luxord do the classic vanish into dark particles thing when you beat them so then it became weird
>Doesn't the light cleanse Ansem from Riku to the point where he can use his body again?
I guess it would have just gone back to him since he was right there, just be nice for some kind of confirmation otherwise it can be assumed Riku's still running around as just a heart like Sora was until he merged with Roxas.
docs.google.com
The KH3 we are playing is in the Sleeping Realm
How did Xehanort pass the test to become a Master when even Sora couldn't in DDD? Dude has hella darkness in his heart.
>It's kind of weird because logically, you would think it would make sense for Luxu to just possess his student every time he gets a new one. He was Xehanort, Eraqus, and Yen Sid's master and all three of them were exceptionally powerful Keyblade wielders. So why not choose one of them instead of finding some random person
Wasn't he supposed to just keep an eye sorry on No Name from the moment he'd pass it on? He's supposed to let everything unfold and not directly interfere so it makes sense.
Eraqus is a save scummer
>He was Xehanort, Eraqus, and Yen Sid's master
Come again?
Sounds like FFX to me
Oh, you're just shitposting.
Honestly, that's relieving.
So basically VR will be a "reskin" of the original Versus, for the most part at least. Isn't that what people guessed already?
Worldlines
>Sora dies
I havent played the game and even I know that doesnt happen.
The master passes on No Name to their student. No Name is hanging on the door frame while Eraqus and Xehanort are playing chess. He was their master.
Imagine Tumblr flipping their shit if Sora had that facepaint on.
>He was Xehanort, Eraqus, and Yen Sid's master
No he wasn't you retard. His role was to watch from afar, he had no keyblade until Scapegoat came back to him.
Anons, i don't understand the secret ending
Except there is zero proof of this. He passed his keyblade to a union leader and watched from afar.
>"I hate you Dad!"
>"Gawrsh Max, you always cry"
Did Roxas have fake parents then?
He was living under a bridge wasn't he?
It's not cheating, Light starts with 7 pieces to Darkness's 13, but in exchange they can summon 6 reinforcements (total 13 pieces) by retreating. Xehanort's just a retard who forgot that rule
Most of this makes sense.
I was too busy thinking he was the Master of Masters to even consider Luxu.
>kh3's plot is ten times more interesting being DDD part 2
The keyblade gets passed down from master to student. MoM very specifically told him to do this. The only way he can be sure of this happening (and we know for a fact this happens because MoM is able to see the future) is by making sure during every cycle he is either the master or the student. He isn't Eraqus, Xehanort, or Yen Sid and he specifically makes sure that Xehanort will pass No Name on to him (he says so in game). If he's able to freely possess people then doing this should be no problem for him.
Fujo fantasy got BTFO'd by the ultimania.
Namine made him literally retarded
10-4 is just a nod to TWEWY since they didn't want to use the actual building for fear of getting sued.
Are you fucking retarded? He passed it on way back to one of the union leaders, read the damn secret reports.
No? He had a room that Namine watched him sleep in.
>Luxu passes on his keyblade
>then the guy that got it passes it on to one of his students
>repeat "x" times until Xehanort gets it
All the while Luxu was just body hopping and looking from the sidelines. At least that's what i got from it.
>The only way he can be sure of this happening (and we know for a fact this happens because MoM is able to see the future) is by making sure during every cycle he is either the master or the student.
Except your shit theory goes against the role laid out by him, he doesn't take charge in watching Scapegoat, he's supposed to sit and observe, being either the master or the apprentice goes against what the MoM assigned him to do. He isn't supposed to take action and guide his keyblade throughout history.
TLDR Please redpill me on this.
MoM told him to pass it down to his pupil, then watch from afar while it gets passed on through the ages, not keep getting it re-bequeathed and re-bequeathing it.
>Sora is dead because he's paying the price for abusing the power of awakening
>Riku is probably dead as well since he's Sora's dream eater
>they wake up in TWEWY's Shibuya district,
>Sora's probably going to end up playing the reapers game in order to get out
>we don't know why Yozora's there, but if the old FFvXIII backstory was anything to go by, then Yozora can see the dead and enter the realm of the dead, hence the different eye colors and why he's there with Sora and Riku. He's going to interact with them later down the line, be it as a ally or an antagonist, or a mix of both
>Master of Master wanted this, now with the three of them there, everything's going according to plan
>He had a room that Namine watched him sleep in.
>mindfucks people into loving her
>stalking tendencies by watching people in their sleep
She's a fucking yandere in-the-making.
>mindfucks people into loving her
She was forced to do that by Marluxia.
Why don't you just read the theory doc and then read the Ultimania translations for yourself, we aren't going to spoonfeed you.
>if the old FFvXIII backstory was anything to go by, then Yozora can see the dead and enter the realm of the dead, hence the different eye colors and why he's there with Sora and Riku. He's going to interact with them later down the line, be it as a ally or an antagonist, or a mix of both
Inb4 it turns out he's a Reaper.
Time loops, KH3 didn't happen, and riku is a fag
Would be neat but I doubt it.
And by the end of the game she was still hoping Sora would decide to stay mindfucked
On that note I like the idea that the reason he becomes a happy go lucky retard again after Chain of Memories is because Namine fucked up the process
And? Who did that leader pass it on to? You aren't able to prove me wrong unless you can trace the full cycle and prove none of the people that held the keyblade are Luxu.
Yeah, except Luxu is several of those people throughout the keyblade's timeline.
Then why does he all of a sudden want it as Braig?
The only way to make sure the master's wishes actually happen is to body hop into the keyblade's circle of people. We don't know what the original Braig was like, but the Luxu we meet in Braig's body is vastly different from the one we're introduced to. He would either have to be a stupidly good actor to just stay outside of the keyblades "social circle" and not lose track of it, or skirt what the master told him to do and be directly involved in passing it down. The reason I think it's the latter is because he was so insistent on Xehanort giving it to him.
>You aren't able to prove me wrong
You aren't able to prove yourself right by that logic, and we have Luxu's given role in Back Cover which is to watch from the sidelines.
>Time loops
More like time loops within a dream realm, but close enough.
>KH3 didn't happen
It happened in one timeline, the one Sora succeeded in, but not the other(s). He was basically repeating things until he got it right.
>and riku is a fag
The Ultimania legit hints at this but it won't happen anyway because Disney.
>Then why does he all of a sudden want it as Braig?
Play the games. He's playing his role as a fool desirous of the keyblade to get close to Xehanort who's the first master aligned with darkness to hold Scapegoat and help him summon the true Kingdom Hearts which will summon the foretellers back and eventually the MoM.
>and riku is a fag
>The Ultimania legit hints at this but it won't happen anyway because Disney.
Just bro love.
Thank god ultimania exists to pull the rug out from under the game theory people before they can get their shit theories off the ground
>And? Who did that leader pass it on to?
Inconsequential, MoM already told him that he succeeded so whoever it gets passed to is the right guy.
>Yeah, except Luxu is several of those people throughout the keyblade's timeline.
Proof? There's literally nothing to imply this.
>Then why does he all of a sudden want it as Braig?
Just an excuse to stay close to Xehanort and throw off suspicion.
>The only way to make sure the master's wishes actually happen is to body hop into the keyblade's circle of people.
And that's probably what happened. He can't interfere directly, MoM specified this. He even send him off without a Book to make sure he doesn't create any paradoxes.
>More like time loops within a dream realm, but close enough.
Which has zero proof that they're in the dream realm the only way that would work is if sleeping worlds were different than what they are. The fact that Sora causes a singularity proves that time loops didn't happen.
>The Ultimania legit hints at this
It doesn't, you've twisted the meaning in it.
Hello Yea Forums, this your new friendship trio for the next game. Yozora is replacing Kairi because Nomura doesn't give a fuck about her and she's become nothing but a joke now anyway.
Are you okay with this new friendship trio y/n?
When did you realize KH3 is better than vanilla KH1 and 2?
The dream stuff makes sense.
I guess we'll see in the in between game
No, Nomura is a fag and I've given up on KH.
Can't realize something that never happened, now go back to /vg/ you autistic waifufag.
>Different colored eyes
BRAVO, NOMURA
Gee Sora, how come Nomura lets you have two Rikus?
I've honestly never liked Kairi, just accepted that she is there to make things less of a sausage fest so I really don't mind that. It's not going to happen, but its a nice thought
>he hasn't figured it out yet
Yozora is probably some pseudo Namine-like infusion of Sora and Riku.
Either that or it's another Ven&Vanitas scenario with Riku and Sora were the split halves of Yozora.
>Summons are dream like incorporeal beings
>Except the Dream Eaters
Fucking Nomura
This guy is Kojima 2
>Kairi
>anything more than a plot coupon
Do you even remember the other games correctly?
Each link is shaded in a way to represent the element they use in battle. DEs have no element. Not that deep fujo
Don't care about that. I just think Nomura fucking sucks at designing characters.
You're the only one that would complain, bitch boy.
Kairi turns into crystals
I was certain that the Meow Wow was Wind elemental.
Also, does Ralph have an element? I can't think of one unless we decide to double up on Thunder summons, and Ice just doesn't fit.
For PJ, i'd be more like
>But pops... why?
>Why you say? Because being a hero doesn't really get you what you want in life, now look at your old man! Controlling swarms of Heartless!
Yep. She dies in a similar way that Namine did in 358/2D too.
Either she wasn't the real Kairi or her heart is an exception to the typical death rule due to her being an entity of pure light or whatever.
Ralph is likely data element or something consider he can glitch enemies out. I suppose Meow Wow could be wind.
I actually did like, the somewhat girly type getting a weapon to fight back sounded great to me. Then she gets fucked over because Nomura said so. Hell when I joined her in the fight against [REDACTED] and Moon Boy she was the first to bite the bullet.
But I wouldn't? That facepaint is cool.
It's some kind of stupid copyright thing. Nomura mentioned how Disney got stricter with the summons, so they had to be changed juuust enough so they aren't really the character being summoned. No idea why Ralph got a pass though.
I just thought they couldn't show a normal killing. Hell, they barely mention the words "death" and "kill", god bless dem ratings.
When Final Mix comes out, who do you want to see as a Secret Boss?
and why is it Gilgamesh on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransokyo?
Roxas is staying at Olette's place with Xion. Shit was so cash.
>decided to try the gachashit
>there's apparently some event with a Gilgamesh-looking heartless
>get to hear that glorious theme all the time
It's fate.
Just give me Sephiroth, dammit
seems legit
I want a secret boss for every world, though the fights I want most are
>Gilgamesh on bridge for BH6
>Bahamut dissidia figure in Toy Story
Someone please respond
eh
>Sephiroth gets in the game
>when you try to fight him it turns into a cutscene of him vs Cloud and it finally gets resolved and Cloud leaves, you do no fighting
>a voice is heard from off-screen
>"My friend, the fates are cruel. There are no dreams, no honor remains"
>Genesis shows up
Enjoy your true boss fight anons!.
If it was anything like Terra's and Aqua's
>hit ball to pass test
then I can see him concealing it with ease
Or maybe Xehanort's Master wasn't as anal about Darkness like Eraqus is
It was likely the traditional exam like Terra and Aqua did since his master trained him for years amd knows the extent of his abilities.
>Genesis
literally who?
I see. Thanks for clearing that up.
Why is Aqua such a boomer?
sounds nice but weren't there legal disputes due to some guy's likeness being used for the character?
Predict a bonus boss for each world to add
OC characters are the worst thing about KH
it shouldn't have gone further than Sora, Kairi, Riku, and Ansem
If you don't know him then you're lucky, you dodged a bullet.
Ah, i guess Gackt?
>buzz lightyear
>abominable snowman
>ice queen
>calypso
>baymax
>horse
>Hercules
Colosseum tourneys instead of a boss
>Toy Story
Those 3 Dissidia summon models
>Tangled
Gilgamesh
>Frozen
None because any additions would ruin the perfect world the movie team created
>Twilight Town
Org data battles
>Pirates
Jecht
>Big Hero 6
Sephiroth
Does anyone else think that from this point on Kingdom Hearts is not going to sell as well? It's not friendly to newcomers. I don't see newcomers playing the old games to understand the new arc based on Chi/Union Cross that KH3 started on.
There's also the factor that veterans consider KH3 their final game in the franchise. Maybe Nomura himself realizes that the story is not very good and that's why he repeatedly said "IF the series even has a future." He may realize that unlike say Marvel vs Capcom or Smash Bros KH has dodgy terrain, especially with a story that's incompetently put together.
I just don't see a bright future where Kingdom Hearts is able to tell all of it's story arcs (however many there are). I don't see people maintaining interest for that long in Kingdom Hearts. I can easily see Kingdom Hearts end up on a cliffhanger just like Megaman Legends 2 ended up.
Nomura should have set up KH3's ending with Sora doing the dream/waking shit, and ending up with a big time skip of >100 years where most characters are dead and gone, and the setting and story can be mostly reset without the dead weight, with the next games not having the Kingdom Hearts moniker but instead the name of the next mysterious macguffin.
No, secondary fucks wouldn't bother to get into it anyway and the only "veterans" who are hopping off with 3 weren't that big of fans to begin with.
>It's not friendly to newcomers
It hasn't been for a very long time.
>There's also the factor that veterans consider KH3 their final game in the franchise
If people want to drop the series after KH3 and consider it the end, that's fine, but the Veterans who have been keeping up with the games already know that it's only the end of dealing with Xehanort's Shenanigans, and now we have to deal with shit from the "Age of Fairytales"
Probably won't maintain the interest of people as much as it used to, but I can see it continuing on
this should have been in the credits scenes at the very least, seeing donald and mickey reunite with their loved ones was nice but goofy didn't get anything
>Sora dies
How the fuck isn't that a good ending
>Add in the Colosseum instead of a Secret Boss, with Sephiroth: Round 3 included for completing all cups
>Data Organization in Twilight Town
>Bahamut, Yozora, and Darth Vader in Toy Box
>tfw couldn't think of anything for Corona
>There is no boss fight in Arendelle, instead all of the other musical songs that weren't included in the world are added in, and they're all unskippable, because fuck you
>Randall
>Jecht
>Gilgamesh in San Fransokyo
>Dark Robed Character seen in the Secret ending for the Keyblade Graveyard, Vanitas Remnant can be fought through a secret portal that leads to the Land of Departure
>An unknown armored Keyblade Wielder in Scala ad Caelum, who turns out to be Young Eraqus
Where can I read Ultimalia?
do we have proper translations of the ultimania yet or is it still full of mistranslated characterfagging like that one shitposter that was saying demyx is MoM?
i'd believe it though
Depends on what Numora has planned for the next installment.
Seeing that the Xehanort saga is over so that the narrative can move forward with this new Master of Masters and Foretellers plotline, and that the secret ending hinting at Sora and Riku in an entirely different universe that's seperated from the other OCs, it's safe to assume that the next installment is going to involve a semi-reset of sorts either way. They need to do that they want to gain a newfound zoomer audience, since most of them missed out on the 2000's KH craze, when it was still well-known and popular.
So basically what this user said
Speaking of Sora dying and the ending, this scene makes a lot more sense now. Every single thing Xigbar says checks out.
There are other problems to consider, poor selection of Disney worlds to make into movies. With the announcement of Frozen 2 I cringe at the thought of returning to shitty Arendelle. Don't get me wrong I don't think "Arendelle sucked in KH3" I think Frozen is a SHIT movie and I hate going to a world with characters I don't care about (in the case of Elsa, Anna, and Olaf I fucking loathe). And that's my main issue with Disney nowadays I largely hate their films from the Tangled Renaissance. Such underwhelming junk. Junk that only sells and wins animation awards "Because it's Disney it wins by default tee-hee!" fucking Hollywood bastards. But yeah, I'm not impressed by modern Disney's offerings so I really struggle with maintaining interest in future KH games knowing that these garbage films are the offerings we have for levels and remember Disney is FILLER. So unremarkable uninteresting shoddy Disney films for MOST of a KH's game's duration? That sounds unpleasant to deal with. I don't care if you make an original story, I don't like Frozen, I don't like Pixar's Brave, I don't like Inside Out, I don't like Good Dinosaur, I don't like Wreck It Ralph, etc. The only Disney anything that may interest me is The Incredibles as the final legacy iconic film that has not made it into KH so far (instead we got boring ass Big Hero 6 to steal it's spot), but you get the gist of it.
Shitty Disney films are a real killer.
>Sora
>and heartless Sora
>and nobody Sora
>and other nobody Sora
>and replica Sora
>and evil Sora
>and evil Sora's original
>and data Sora
>and dreamed Sora
I can't wait for Nomura to introduce another Sora in the next side game before KH4 (or whatever is called)
There's a Kefka-inspired Heartless too that's fucking awesome
>just say what you mean
Oh sora, how naive are you
You've had a million adventures and you expect anyone to speak without crypticness that can be reinterpreted a million ways so Nomura has wiggle room for sequels
Poor fool
At least Rage Form is fucking useful for once and not something that can fuck you over.
Rather have Nomura keep his vision rather than change shit to make it more accessible to retards who didn't start the franchise to begin with.
The next game really should really include Marvel and Star Wars worlds if they want to catch the attention of zoomers and general newcomers. They might be forgettable garbage, but they're still immensely popular right now, and likely will be for the next 3-6 years at least.
Either way, I agree that they're running out of decent animated movies to incorporate into the series, since most of the new films are indeed trash.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Zootopia world though. Probably one of the more recent animated films actually turned out to be decent. An Incredibles world would be great as well.
I love how much sense makes Xigbar to act like that, he was just a kid when KHX happened so he ended up copying his master's personality but in a more twisted and sadistic version, it's basically MoM not trying to hidde he's evil and enjoying fucking everyone's lifes
the biggest giveaway the scene where he says may out hearts be our guiding key and the scene gets cut off
>Strelitzia was just pretending
ok buddy
>unironically hating any character from crisis core
you must be fun at parties
>Rather have Nomura keep his vision rather than change shit to make it more accessible to retards who didn't start the franchise to begin with.
What if that's his new vision for the series?
>Xehanort and Organization XIII plot saga is now over, gives him more room to come up with something new
>Sora and Riku are dead and have woken up in a completely different universe that managed to separate them from everyone else
>all of the scrapped FFvXIII shit going on with Yozora
because she was in darkness for over a decade before computers got big
>heart of light having a good insurance policy
>no good comes from putting others first
>Herc was fine cause he's got friends in high places, doesn't work for someone average (Sora)
>doesn't admire people jumping into danger if it means someone else has to save them
He's almost describing what happens in Keyblade Graveyard, Nomura must've enjoyed writing Xigbar.
I liked the characters, i fucking hated that poem though.
So what did the 2 choices at the tutorial actually affect anyways?
And speaking of the tutorial if it takes place after the game why the fuck does Sora Instagram it
They can go through some original story plot with previous original Disney worlds so long as it's done with some actual care. What they did for Monster INC, as far as that concern, was done well enough
That still relies on a shit ton of information from the previous saga and everything foundational is still important. Sora and Riku aren't staying in the reapers game for the whole saga since the foretellers are in the RoL and their friends are there as well. vXIII concepts are likely to be in the next saga but it's definitely not going to be catered to newfags when it already relies on so mucb precedent.
I've been having these weird thoughts lately... Like, is any of this for real... or not?
>>Sora and Riku are dead and have woken up in a completely different universe that managed to separate them from everyone else
I fucking hope this is true, this needs to happen because I really want that sense of adventure back in the series again, I want them to feel like it's a struggle to travel to different worlds and having to figure that stuff out and get help from characters
>First choice
Max HP and Max MP
>Second choice
order that you learn abilities in, though you stop getting abilities and only gain stats after a certain point. if you pick magic for example you get MP haste at level fucking 4 or something insane like that
Stats (more health, more mana or balanced but never reaching the maximum of either) and which skills you get first (attack, magic, defensive).
> copying his master's personality but in a more twisted and sadistic version, it's basically MoM not trying to hidde he's evil and enjoying fucking everyone's lifes
What the hell are you talking about, the MoM has always been a twisted and sadistic bastard, he openly taunts and toys with every single person he manipulates.
True, but I think Numora could manage to change it just enough that it still manages to be semi-comprehensible to newcomers. Especially now that the convoluted Xehanort and Organization XIII is finally out of the way.
>sora dies
FUCK YOU I HAD AVOIDED SPOILERS FOR THE ENTIRE SERIES FOR MONTHS AND THIS IS WHAT RUINS IT?!
KILL YOURSELF BOBBY
>Especially now that the convoluted Xehanort and Organization XIII is finally out of the way.
Xehanort is gone but his legacy still remains so he's not going to disappear as a character completely, he's just not going to show up in the present. Considering Nomura wants to make a game on his backstory and fall I expect it to tie into the foretellers as well as Ven meeting him for the first time.
Based
you had your chance to play the game, the fuck are you doing here anyway if you wanted to "avoid spoilers"
The game has been out for a while now everywhere, you have no excuses
Good Ending != Happy Ending, you fucking brainlet. And even then, it's a bittersweet ending not a downer of an ending.
MoM isn't openly evil like Xigbar, user, and he was way more chill. The basics are the same but Luxu is more extremist
The secret ending confirms that he's not really-perma dead though, more like his soul(?) has been transported to the the Kingdom Hearts-equivalent of Hell.
Because everyone else gets their happy ending. Besides, Sora isn't dead. He's basically trapped in a foreign world
He's playing the reapers game so he's dead but given a chance to come back to life. He has to have sacrificed something to do it though. Likely the powers he had prior to coming.
I personally would just prefer that they continue to re-use the older Disney movies and just integrate them into the plot better. I want more stuff like we had with Beast and Hollow Bastion in KH1.
I'd also be happy to see them use older Disney movies that don't get as much love, like Treasure Planet, but I can't really see it happening.
From what I was told Goofy doesn't have a son as far as the Japanese are concerned because Goof Troop and the like never came to Japan
By hell you mean the FFXV universe, right?
>Kingdom Hearts-equivalent of Hell.
I'm kinda annoyed that VR ended up being in KH and not a completely different game to be honest. Nomura obviously wants to explore some themes (such as death) but the need for low age ratings doesn't let him expand on them properly. I just want one game where he can go all out, in all of his unhinged chuuni glory.
lame
I thought the reaper's game made you lose whatever was most important to you, so in Sora's case wouldn't that be his friends?
WHEN THE WAR OF THE BEASTS BRINGS ABOUT THE WORLD'S END
Young Xehanort said that Sora was condemning himself to the abyss by abusing the power of awakening.
"Abyss" is associated with Hell in latin.
The Reaper's Game is organized by reapers and angels.
So yeah, TWEWY Shibuya is basically the KH equivalent to hell and its likely that Sora, Riku, Yozora and the MoM were sent that there as a form punishment for trying to play god. With Sora, it was abusing the power of awakening. Meanwhile the MoM has done so much shady shit that its no surprise that he managed to disappear from existance like Sora did. We don't know why Yozora's there but if I had to guess it has something to deal with the girl he was seperated from in the fake Verum Rex ad. Riku's there because he's an unlucky bastard who happened to be Sora's dream eater.
>So yeah, TWEWY Shibuya is basically the KH equivalent to hell
Damn Neku was really burning Sora in DDD
I can’t believe anyone gives any fucks about these characters in such a shit light versus dark I’ll defeat you with the power of friendship in my heart horseshit game
>Riku's there because he's an unlucky bastard who happened to be Sora's dream eater.
Will the suffering for my boy ever end?!
The San Fransokyo world is canon to the movies. I assume it's the explanation for how they got Baymax back and their suit upgrades.
Wait, there's a new BH6 movie coming out?
>Jecht
Damn I didn't know I wanted this until now
There's a TV series currently that supposedly going to be canon to the next movie.
How do I get to the second rail in the labyrinth of ice? I need that treasure chest
The world obviously takes place before Toy Story 2
>Darth Vader
>not Based Emperor Zurg
>contradicting what Pixar says
GIFT OF THE GODDESS
FUCK OFF. I wonder if they'll shove him in FF7R somehow.
What the fuck? They're like brother and sister they ain't gonna bang fuck off
>Ultimania hinting at more Xehanort/Boy in Black
Fucking hell
I don't think they're going to make the mistake of trying to set up the FFVII expanded universe again
Give me a link to the Ultimania translations, this shit sounds interesting
Really? On one hand i'm kinda tired of him but then YX is such a delightful cunt that i'd love it if he joined the good guys and fought Luxu later on.
The re:coded secret ending foreshadowed everything years ago
youtube.com
>BASED Riku
>2006 version of Noctis
>Punished Sora
Utter K I N O
It's a reference you fag, by the rule of cliche no one has done it seriously before anyway so it isn't cliche. Also your opinions are discarded
>Generic unrelatable ShounenJump MC dies
This is a bad thing to you?
>they're like brother and sister
Fusion Dance, of course!
For real tho, I think that’s a reach
They probably won't but you never know.
True, it's been there for a long time (even 2FM had stuff). I just liked that scene cause, looking back to it now after finishing the game, you can see how everything he said ended up happening.
This is Nomura of course he's gonna be back, you think they're just gonna forget the end of Dirge of Cerberus?
This guy translated some of it
>twitter.com
I wouldn’t even be mad
From Crisi Core
>you think they're just gonna forget the end of Dirge of Cerberus?
I thought they were trying to forget that game completely, not only the ending.
Remember when other Disney characters actually had some sort of role in the series and were aware of shit like the keyblade?
Ventus
Aqua
Terra
Xion
Namine
Roxas
Xehanort
Like Calypso?
>We'll never get Ariel as a constant party member travelling around, with her using the trident as a weapon
Fuck Disney's autism.
Was thinking more King Triton in the first game who clearly knows what the deal is with the keyblade and doesn't want that shit going on in his backyard
>Sephiroth gets patched in
>fight him, cool fight, like KH2 he just brushes you off
>post-fight cutscene has him powering up and getting ready to beat you
>suddenly John DiMaggio's voice cuts in saying "ROCKET PUNCH" and Sephiroth gets knocked out by a pair of boxing gloves from offscreen, drops his sword
>Gilgamesh jumps in and grabs it then challenges Sora to a duel for the keyblade
What was so bad about it? It was just a fun shooter spinoff and G didn't appear aside from it's secret movie
You mean King Triton, Calypso, and uhhhhh
Calypso in Pirates world also seems to know what the deal is with keyblades. Stuck out to me cause it reminded me of Triton and they are both kind of tangentially Greek sea myth characters.
Absolutely retarded plot and bad music
Also most people didn't know you could use a mouse and keyboard with it to make the controls not garbage
The games show that nobodies grow new hearts, but when killed they reform with their old one. By the game's logic that means most nobodies got as fucked over as Roxax/Xion/Namine since there should be, for example, an Axel heart stuck somewhere out there, but no one gives a shit.
Anyone who uses "kino" to express their opinion is completely wrong. This is a universal fact, and you will not find a single exception to have occurred once in the forced meme's history
Some reason I want to say the scientist in Halloween world was on the up in up. But I don't actually remember anything to support this. It's like remembering the result but not the cause.
Reminder that the intro chronologically takes place later. Reminder that the Sleeping Realms theory is mostly right aside from the obvious shipper fujoshi shit.
Scrooge
What about χ-no?
Scrooge had a role in something other than the shop?
For the autist screaming about proof regarding vanitas earlier it is indeed from ultimania, i personally translated that part
>the real name of the heartless guardian is うしろの人 "The Person Behind (You)"
He made those movies in Twilight Town. Also I think he created the sea salt icecream in 2. But he is definitely aware of shit if he isn't playing a role in Sora's journey.
But also there is Yen Sid, Merlin, Fairy Godmother and the fairy Bippity Boppity Boo trio.
That's about 9 Disney characters plus Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Jimnimy Cricket, Minnie, Daisy and the villains who either know all about the keyblade and hearts stuff and or play a role in the keyblade stuff.
>He made those movies in Twilight Town.
Yeah but he's not relevant to the plot at all
Oh also Huey, Dewy and Louie who sell gummi parts and Chip and Dale.
That brings about 20 Disney characters not including villains.
Beast and Remy may also know something traveling worlds themselves but I forget what their knowledge is.
Can't read further than one sentence?
so the cum guardian is That Guy/
>Kingdom Hearts and the events that took place in 3 are actually Canon in the Pixar Universe and the Big Hero 6 Universe
Wait
What the fuck?
If that's the case, then what are the chances we'll get a Sora cameo or a KH easter egg in the upcoming movies?
So which ones are Lea, Ventus, Aqua, Terra, Xion, Luxord, Marluxia and Repliku? I guess the cubes could be dices representing Luxord and maybe the last piece is Terra because Terranort is just a small variation of Master Xehanort (and the emblem looks like Master Xehanort's the goat) but I'm not sure and that still lefts a few pieces unclear
Given that BH6 is confirmed to be happening, if we see two Baymaxes then you should expect at least a passing mention of Sora.
As for Toy Story, it probably won't happen beyond a passing easter egg since Toy Box is supposed to take place between 2 and 3.
How so?
r for reload
Aqua, Terra, Ventus from left to right.
Left symbol is a pair of waves crashing. Middle symbol is a spike of rock jutting out of the ground. Right symbol looks like wings which = wind
>Terra
user, Terra was in the bad side, even if he joined the good side later, like Xion. The good guys when the war started were Mickey, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Lea, Aqua and Ventus.
Also I'd say the one you said it's Terra's it's Lea's because it has a small details that can be representing small flames, but I'm not sure about the others.
The one next to Larxene is Demyx and the flower looking one next to Vanitas is most likely marluxia
I think the dark ones are Marluxia (flower), Demyx (sitar), Vexen (shield), Luxord (dice), and Terranort. Since those pieces are based on the members at the start of the game before Demyx and Vexen get benched.
Oh that's true, it's probably Lea's then.
>Also I'd say the one you said it's Terra's it's Lea's because it has a small details that can be representing small flames
I thought about this too for a moment, but the last piece kinda reminds me of Lea's hair. Also i'd feel weird having him between Ven and Aqua.
Where the hell is the Grape Flan, I've looked everywhere in arendale
You have to jump off the mountain at the very top. The map doesn't show that there's a path there.
I guess it makes sense
Marluxia is between young Xehanort and Vanitas, and Xigbar and Saix are closer to Master Xehanort than young Xehanort himself, I don't think the order means that much
I'm a Japan-based moonspeaking weeb with KH Ultimania
ama
Near elsa castle, next to the moogle there's an area that looks dark blue-ish on the mini-map, you should find one of those gusts of wind that shoot you in the air near there.
This should have been the final boss. Prove me wrong.
Pro tip: You absolutelly can't
How the hell was I supposed to find that
were there ever any oc trend due to coco or were they scared of cultural appropriate?
Time to settle this once and for all. Is Riku gay for Sora?
After playing the Frozen world you are supposed to be driven to suicide and jump off the cliff.
They probably assume that people will look down the mountain from the top, and the purple thing in the snow does seem weird and out of place so it's pretty obvious you can get there somehow.
Fuck you user, my sides.
No, he and Namine have a "special connection"
Finally, we can bury this shit, thanks user. One last question, does it mention anything about Shibuya or Luxord's card?
Not him (because I'm not a fake) but Nomura says the card "might" be the key of Sora's resurrection, which I guess it means Sora is in the Reaper Game only thanks to Luxord's card
Nomura weasles his way out of Shibuya question like "it may not be the one youre thinking of maybe probably"
>luxords card
It'll be the key to reviving sora
Sora actually survives thanks to Luxord, can't believe it. Surprising isn't it?
>one of the most active orgxiii members this time
>most readily accepted change of heart, immediately chill with sora
>also probably just saved his fucking life
>plays games, just wants to have fun; sorta kinda like demyx but not brain damaged and playing for fortune rather than probably strumming the three songs he knows on sitar at college
>the coolest half-xehanort in general
How can one man be so based?
>tfw ansem, seeker of darkness and luxord were the only character i cared about
>heh, i can totally be the final boss
Nah faggot, meet me outside.
>finally excited to see more of Demyx
>gets benched and has like 3 scenes
I mean, i liked all of his scenes, the Org banter was pretty nice this time, but being a Demyx fan is suffering.
You all do realize that the beginning tutorial takes place AFTER the game when he is using the power of waking? Nomura said it himself.
These "Seven" are not the 7 guardians, its Kairi, Chirithy, Elrena, Lauriam, Streletzia, Namine, and I presume Skuld.
Am I seriously going to have to get high scores in every minigame just to get Ultima Weapon
>Neku and Shiki told Sora he'd see them in hell
Brutal
>all females
How sexist.
Nope, the whole thing. Why do you think he does not even remember how to attack or use magic? He did not lose those powers in DDD.
It's easy it took me like a few hours in total to get the ultima weapon.
Don't worry, Demyx is probably the Master of Masters, so if he is then expect to see plenty of him in the next game.
>Chirithy
Does this happen when he reverses time after everyone gets killed by the heartless tornado or after Xehanort is defeated and he tries to revive Kairi?
>Lauriam
You know what, you are right all females.
Chirithy and Namine are fine though.
Does Xiggy know this?
They are fine because Sora used the power of waking to release them from the Final World.
I am hobestly going to be mad if MoM isn't either a completely new character or punished Sora
The flans are quite easy, the worst Orichalcum+ is from Frozen's treasure hunt imo.
That seems a bit too on the nose but at this point anything goes.
Demyx even if he is not the MoM knows more than he is letting on.
He was the only Org member that is not Xemnas and Xigbar that Nobodies DO have hearts,
youtube.com
0:55
HOW THE FUCK DOES HE KNOW THIS WHEN EVEN SIAX DOESN'T?
He is def acting weaker than he is.
But then that scene wouldn't take place after the game because we see them fine before we get to the end with Sora disappearing.
Also Lauriam and Elrena are going to be fine now that Sora vanquished their Nobodies like Luxord.
Your list makes no sense.
The only reason i'm not buying it is that Xemnas knew those 4 (Demyx, Larxene, Marluxia and Luxord) had something to do with keyblades and i don't think MoM would leave any traces. Although it IS weird that Demyx is the only one missing later on.
Sora returned from the power of waking and then disappeared, if this was not the case Kairi would not have been there either. Similar to how the MoM "Disappeared" Sora did as well, this explains why they both ended up in the same place, Shibuya (nomura confirmed it is the MoM in the secret ending)
He vanquished their nobodies, their bodies were presumably stuck in the sleeping worlds asleep, which Sora would have to use the power of waking to reach and save them as well. We know this is possible because Young Xehanort can use the power of waking as we see in KH3 so after KH2 he could re-nobody them for KH3 org.
Also convenient Demyx is not one of the norts
>Sora returned from the power of waking and then disappeared
I thought that was just a "poetic" way to show that Sora had died, Kairi returned but Sora never did.
That is the genius of Demyx and the MoM, he disappeared into Shibuya then nobodied himself so that he could hide from anyone who would search for him until the time was right for him to come back once the second keyblade war finished.
Xemnas did not have the full idea, Demyx also had no idea of his true identity the same way none of the 4 knew they had a keyblade past.
Consider the following, we NEVER see Demyx and the MoM in the some chronological time, but guess who we finally see at the end of KH3, when Demyx is conveniently the only one who is not accounted for.
The monster's inc one isn't hard, but it's entirely determined by RNG
Just spam thunder m8.
That is one of the easiest ones by far.
I'd rather have it not be another new OC character, the series' cast is bloated enough as it is.
MoM being a punished Sora from the future or another timeline would be interesting though.
I think he was actually there and I think he disappeared the same way the MoM did, using the power of waking.
Consider this, the MoM created the Chirithys which are dream eaters. He would have to have the power of waking to even get to the sleeping worlds to make dream eaters. He then disappeared.
Sora after using the Power of waking (for a different reason) also disappeared afterwards.
Im 99% sure this is what happened.
Yeah actually I made the mistake of doing it in that world without ethers instead of when I had thundaga. It would probably be trivial now.
>The monster's inc one isn't hard, but it's entirely determined by RNG
I did it on my second try by using a magic keyblade and using aero spells. Also guns auto-attack when you dodge so there's that too. I think this is the only game that i had like 4x the necessary score actually.
>Find all but one emblem without using a guide
>Been up and down fucking San Franshitsci 500 times and cannot find the very last one
kill me
>I think he was actually there
I'm pretty sure everyone would be freaking out if they saw Sora turning to dust like that, instead they were watching with a sad look towards Kairi. The rest makes sense though, i agree.
There are a couple that only show up during night, good luck user!
What was even the deal with Demyx suddently getting all serious and calling Sora a traitor anyway?
I doubt it had anything to do with Roxas anymore
Theres some cool locations but with most of them being basic engravings on walls it was kind of disappointing.
BTW if you didnt know in SF some are only available at night/day
Its possible he was not there, its also possible he was only visible to Kairi, or that he said he wanted some alone time with her until he disappeared.
I really do not know there is no evidence of any of them due to the nature of the cinematic having no dialogue.
It prob was due to Roxas since be called him Roxas, or maybe it was him talking the the union leader Ventus inside him

>Q: I want to ask about Terranort. When Ansem SOD and Xemnas were defeated in KH1 and 2, were both Master Xehanort and Terra revived?
>Nomura: Ordinarily, Terra should have been revived at that point, but because his body was possessed by Xehanort, his heart didn’t return, and only his body did. That body was used as the vessel for the heart of Terra (from BBS) that was called from the past.
So pic related is correct except the reformed Master Xehanort didn't nort KH3 Terra, they just made BbS Terranort time travel to the future and control the body of KH3 Terra
>Xehanort tosses away his body and fuses his heart and soul with Terra, Terra's heart becomes the One Behind heartless and his soul the Lingering Will armor
>Terra-Xehanort with Xehanort's soul and heart, but Terra's body, splits into a heartless that keeps the soul of the human (something unsual) and a nobody
>the heartless names himself Ansem and fuses with Riku at some point but is ultimately destroyed, the nobody already grown stronger and leader of the fake organization is called Xemnas and is destroyed too
>the two parts of Terra-Xehanort reform Xehanort and Terra as they were before they fused, but Terra's heart is still in the heartless and his soul in the armor so Terra is just an empty husk and the true organization uses him as vessel and summons Terra-Xehanort from the time period before his defeat in the final episode of BbS to posses Terra
>the Lingering Will merges with the One Behind and fight back, and with Sora's help Terra's body, heart and mind finally merge for good
>master Xehanort still has a pretty good body now (despite look like his old self), explaining why he's so strong and why Terra-Xehanort isn't the final boss
I don't know how ANYONE could play a KH game and take the story or characters AT ALL seriously, even for a moment.
This would be such a Nomura thing, it'll probably end up being true.
Damn, Ansem SoD has an orgy going on within himself.
This entire post is doing a good job at making me mad at Nomura.
>Getting mad at this work of art
For shame user.
But doing that DIDN'T give him the power of waking! He just got it out of nowhere because he needed it! He would still have gotten it even if he'd gone straight to Aqua and Ventus.
>Ven was the traitor all along
Would explain Vanitas at least. Kid had to have had a real evil side to him to produce a heartless like that.
fuck i can hear it now
The concept of Lingering Will is the coolest shit and I hate Nomura not exploring it.
Episode Lingering when?
What even happened to him/it
Ultimania mention him vanishing (including the armor) only when Terra fully came back.
So he was alive and kicking somewhere.
He looks so god damn good in unreal
Not your personal army autistic little fuck
>Q: Are the “ancient keyblade wielders” Xemnas is looking for Marluxia and Larxene?
>Nomura: I won’t say yet, but it will eventually become clear to the player in KHUx. By the way, the reason Xemnas was looking for the Chamber of Waking in Days is because Ventus is an ancient keyblade wielder too.
>Q: Wait, so does that mean Xehanort knew that Ventus was an ancient keyblade wielder?
>Nomura: Guess that just means I have to show their meeting.
Are these translations correct? Jesus this will get even more complicated, won't it?
>Gilg has six arms
>One for each WoL keyblade
>Arrives to take Sora's, trying to be the 7 WoL himself
>Fight takes place on Sans Frokyo bridge
It's all fits perfectly to not happen
Not everthing
>weaker than he is.
Reminder that Demyx can instakill you if you do not finish his water minions.
Maybe it's water from the Final World
Tunnel one? Maybe the stairs one north at night?
The riku seen in keyblade graveyard was riku replicas darkness right?
Riku replica 2.0, a new replica.
The one that gave me trouble was on a purple-ish sign during the night, maybe that one?
>It's all fits perfectly to not happen
That's why it won't happen. Just like how KH4 won't have Dr. Facilier or Coco's world, we're not allowed fun things anymore.
No! 4 will have those worlds! 4 is the number of death! Nomura will have to follow his number autism and put those death worlds in! He has too!
The body is a new replica but we don't know if the heart is a new one (a new heart grown in this replica like happened with the first Repliku) or the same from the past (Repliku before being killed by Riku, when he still was edgy and evil)
It's funny because he says he can't confirm Marluxia and Larxene are the ones from the past just to confirm it later in other part of the interviews
>Q: When Marluxia is defeated, he says he has finally remembered why he exists and what he is there for. Is he talking about his past memories from KHUx?
>Nomura: Yes. If you’ve played far enough in KHUx you’ll understand.
Finally fucking found it after what must have been fucking hours. #5, the one on the side of the little dome.
I caught this on my Lv1 replay before it was confirmed in Ultimania. Feel like a fucking genius.
I hate how there was no point of the Disney world's, like instead of spamming PoA at the end just have Sora use it on characters like Flynn, Buzz, Anna etc
You are just mad he can make money with such a stupidly complicated and confusing story and you can't
>The Ultimania legit hints at this but it won't happen anyway because Disney
Fuck off with your shitty fanficion, fujo subhuman
>Repurika Zehanōto
kh3fm requires yozora and luxu boss fights
Really wish KH3 wasn't crap for their choices for the combat system and gummi ships
If he had succeeded in building the fake Kingdom Hearts, would they have even needed to go through with the other plan?
TUMBLING DOWN
I don't see the problem. The game is a 7.8/10.
nooooooooo
>KH3 Terranort isn't exactly the same Terranort that appeared in BbS
>Saix was the one who wanted to atone for his sins, like Vexen
>the role that Xemnas assigned to Demyx, Luxord, Larxene and Marluxia's in the new organization was search for an(other) ancient keyblade wielder (hinted to be the same character Ansem SoD mentioned to Ansem the Wise, Ultimania says she's supposed to be an ancient keyblade wielder too)
>Eraqus descends from a dandelion, not a foreteller (Brain is Eraqus' ancestor theories are getting stronger)
>Strelitzia was choose by Ava to be a new union leader
>the Maleficent from KHX is the one from KH1, she was in the past the time she was "death", then she returned and appeared in KH2. The fact she can travel between the current time/future is related to why the ancient keyblade wielders are in the current day. She also thinks the black box contains a copy of the book of prophecies
>Nomura answer when asked if the person Namine wants to see the most is Riku is that "picking her up that way in Radiant Garden was Riku acting on Repliku's wishes" and that the bond between Repliku and Namine is strong
>Namine was revived before Sora bring Kairi back, this was possible because when she was killed by Xehanort, Namine's heart escaped (Nomura says he will explain more of this later)
>Nomura says Sora knows the name of the person the nameless star is waiting for
>the power of waking just restores a comatose heart, Sora overused it to restore dead hearts and rewrote reality
>Marluxia remembers being Lauriam, who knows if Larxene remembers being Elrena, but remembering or not she still wanted to join the pink haired boy
>Xemnas searched for Ventus in Castle Oblivion because he was another ancient keyblade wielder, like Marluxia, Larxene, Subject X and probably Demyx and Luxord too
>when he wasn't inside the guardian, Terra (as heart) was inside Terranort body fighting for control. Terra's guardian is named The Person Behind (you)
>there's no LW anymore since Terra came back, but he should still be able to summon the armor
>the real organization has no numbers
>even Nomura himself thought the Dark Seeker saga was long enough already, that's why he didn't dive deeper into what made Xehanort believe the world should be remade and that shit
>the key to Sora's revival is Luxord's joker card
>Mickey literally fused the Kingdom Chain of the Realm of Darkness (abbreviated as "Kingdom Chain D") with the Star Seeker, this new keyblade is called the Kingdom Chain Double ("Kingdom Chain W" for short)
>No, I mean why are you wearing an onesie? Also what happened to your chin?
oh fuck no
the cum guardian is terras heart?
So Xehanort had Vexen dress a bunch of replicas in these sick outfits to contain his pieces of heart after they left the vessels that had free will? Why the fuck wouldn't they just go back to him?
>KH3 Terranort isn't exactly the same Terranort that appeared in BbS
Expand on this, who is he if not the Terranort that hadn't fought Lingering Will yet?
>the power of waking just restores a comatose heart, Sora overused it to restore dead hearts and rewrote reality
Well that's a damn sight better explanation than YX and his chasing worlds bullshit or whatever, what retard fucked up the translation there?
>even Nomura himself thought the Dark Seeker saga was long enough already, that's why he didn't dive deeper into what made Xehanort believe the world should be remade and that shit
Fuck you, you lazy nigger, finish the first saga properly before jumping ship to the next one.
I would consider it ok at best if it didn't run like ass. (wow consolefags your really bad at holding stable fps in either mode!) No excuse for this it's no wonder people give console users shit i don't blame them!
OH KH2 shits all over this.
There is a faded highlight on the map. Same thing once you jump down there as well.
You really shouldn't have betrayed us.
It's that Terranort, it just means it's not BbS Terranort reformed, it's a new Terranort made with the reformed Terra and the Terranort heart from the BbS (see )
Should have been the Terranort that stole Ansem's name.
>KH1 fight Ansem's apprentice Xehanort's heartless
>KH2 fight his Nobody
>KH BBS fight the original Xehanort that possessed a young boy and became Ansem's apprentice
>KH DDD fight a younger version of the original Xehanort
>KH3 fight the old man from BBS again
Considering the final battle happens inside of Xehanort's heart I'd say the Xehanort Replicas aren't real, just manifestations of the other pieces of Xehanort's hearts inside the main Xehanort. It's Scala, Sora Donald and Goofy never were there, it was just a representation inside Xehanort's heart
>Considering the final battle happens inside of Xehanort's heart
You're gonna need to show me proof of this. He literally says "one sky, one destiny" and summons Kingdom Hearts, how the fuck is that going to do anything inside some manifestation of his heart? The whole point of the "he's a portal" bullshit was because he was a time traveler, it's Scala from another point in time, a time when Xehanort was training there.
>after getting plowed in the ass by DMChads he has to come over here to lick his wounds
bazzy getting iffy yuh
he can suck my stiffy yuh
DMCV shits all over KH3
cope
>Gilgamesh questioning if the keyblade could be considered a sword or not
Please, Square
>You're gonna need to show me proof of this
They literally shoot him a beam of light, disappear and appear inside him, and it's the same Riku did with Sora in DDD to free him from the nightmare that was damaging him (and when he destroyed it he meet the 3 people inside Sora's heart, Roxas, Ventus and Xion).
>how the fuck is the literal OMNIPOTENT GODLY force of the multiverse going to do anything inside your heart?
user...
>it's Scala from another point in time
That makes no sense because there's literally no one in the city except for Xehanorts' hearts and the 3 guys that sneaked inside Xehanort (Sora Donald and Goofy)
>They literally shoot him a beam of light, disappear and appear inside him
Can you prove it's inside him? Because the whole speech Riku gives is about how he's a portal because he can time travel, what about that makes you think they used the portal they shot out of him to NOT travel through time?
>Can you prove it's inside him?
If you wanna go by this I can ask you "can you prove it's just the regular Scala in the past?"
Dude, it's what Riku did in DDD, and Sora literally teleports inside him, it's literally Xehanort's heart.
>portal
To be fair, Sora did some time travel in DDD too, so maybe it's just the default criteria to get into someone's heart. Or maybe the part about time portal is what made Xehanort's insides be like where he lived in the past (and if he wasn't a time portal they would just get into something like a dark world because that's what present Xehanort's heart would reflect). I don't know, still don't change Sora moved to Xehanort's insides just like Riku moved to Sora's in DDD, nor that the city was desert except for Xehanort and Sora, Donald and Goofy
simba works the best, just need to bring ethers
i think master yen sid is MoM, him and zigbar say may your heart be your guiding key in the game and MoM is the first person to ever say it in back cover
>Reminder that the Sleeping Realms theory is mostly right
Retard
>"can you prove it's just the regular Scala in the past?"
Yes, Riku says he's a portal because he has the power to time travel, they shoot a portal out of him and go back to the past where Young Xehanort was training because there needs to be a version of you where you travel to. Also he claims there is "one sky, one destiny" but a manifestation of his heart obviously wouldn't share a sky with the Keyblade Graveyard.
>so maybe
>Or maybe
>I don't know
So you admit you're just spewing nonsense.
Did you not play DDD? It's exactly the same as what Riku did to Sora
Did you not play 3? Riku doesn't say shit about using the power of waking on Nort, he mentions time travel.
So you didn't play DDD or 3. Riku never says to trap Xehanort in the past. He transcends space and time so the plan was to trap him in his own heart, and Sora opening up the portal leads to his own memories of Scala, that's why it's empty. The issue is that can't work since the X-blade allows someone to summon Kingdom Hearts regardless of where they are. "One sky, one destiny." is extremely literal, that's why Xehanort chides Sora about his plan being shit.
thanks for the thread OP
as cool as roxas dual wielding is. it was kinda retconned. he was ever only able to because of xion at the time
It's because of Ven's heart. Ven's heart stayed with Sora's body when Sora became a Heartless, which is why Roxas looks like Ven. Roxas was using Ven's keyblade the whole time, and became able to use a second keyblade later on when he developed his own heart.
There's no clear answer for why he can still do it in 3 though.
good for them, if rage form sucked shit, no one would have been able to beat the final boss
>There's no clear answer for why he can still do it in 3 though.
Rule of Cool
I dont understand why he has Riku and Kairis keyblade, I wish they would use it instead of the dumb carkey and flowers on a stick
>Watch it boy.
They're keyblades that represent Sora's connection to Riku and Kairi, not their own keyblades.
then why doesnt Roxas have one for Axel and Xion? or at least Two become one for his connection with Sora
Is Xion's armored form what Sora's Keyblade Armor would probably look like?
It's his signature look now.
God I hope not
KH 4 is going to be absolutely bonkers
fyi the japanese doesnt say there will definitely be a game before kh4 or a kh4 at all. he says if they make a kh4 (this is typical japanese way of speaking without commitment just in case in never comes to fruition) that he might* make another game before it to show/explain some things
Why do people ship Aqua with Terra and not ventus?
Ventus was darkness-retarded when they first met
Also most of BBS is about "muh Terra"
Why was it not Terranort that stole Ansems name & made the emblem heartless the final boss? Him & by nature his extensions was the one that was causing the most trouble & it kind of defeats the point of BBS where MX needed a younger body to be able to live & see the light expire.
Because Ven is much younger and from a different time
Ive seen more people ship Terra with Ven then Aqua
>Why do people ship Aqua with Terra and not ventus?
Because of the whole BbS thing with both being tragic lovers (sort of), being light and darkness, both having the same height/age and shit. Then the entirety of KH3 happens
Also people into AquaxVen are /ss/ faggots when the superior fetish is /sm/
I figured she always saw him as a little brother
