I'm a little worried about this because everyone whose played the game so far really likes playing as him, except the leaker who thinks he's slow. I don't want to like it and then have to give it up.

Does anyone else kinda dislike Vergil's motivation gimmick in 4SE? I know it encourages movement and less button mashing to be able make use of the gimmick, but even just missing an attack or running around without lock-on decreases the gauge makes me feel that it promotes some sort of weird passive-agressive playstyle, and it's really annoying on later BP stages where I need more mobility because the enemies just keep moving around.

Shirrako didn't say V was slow. He said it's tricky to use him against some bosses because Griffon and Shadow take some time to get around, but that he's actually overpowered in regular encounters because you can just button mash to SSS.

Release the button at the right time. For moves that require a hold, release the button then press and hold it again. You can still do just cuts while taunting or if you buffered an attack by rolling. You can also do a just cut if you change back to Yamato after Force Edge combo 2.

It's Vergil. The OST confirms this with the songs that happen before the end of the game. Silver Bullet is Nero's DT theme and then the end of the game happens. So Nero gets DT right before mission 20 and fights the last boss.

It's not Black. It's a deep blue that's washed out by the game's filters like Dante's jacket barely being red in most shots. The colors being so washed out are my only real complaint with how the game looks.
