DmC would have been fine if it wasn't so edgy. They changed it in the definitive edition as well to remove a lot of the edge. It's not a bad game. It's just good in a genre of some of the greatest games of all time.

haven't played hades because of epic, but i'll be sad if it's bad
pyre's 'user-generated' story was a bit meh, but i enjoyed the characters and sportsball game
