Not at all, the game is pretty easy and you can make any build except for Bowser's special attack being way too low

In case anyone didnt know. There's a room on sunken ship before the puzzles with one of the bone characters that respawn when u beat em and you can one shot 5 enemies at once with mallows thunder on the first turn. Its great for farming

smashfags really didn't do the game any favors. it's a good game with good characters, and now smashfags, pro-geno and anti-geno, both shat it all up. now it's cool to hate the game for no real reason.

it's a great game, though, and its replayability is nice. now that square and nintendo are friends again, maybe we'll even see some music and cameos here and there. in fact, we already are. i'm very happy about that!

So, just spitballing and let's say a SMRPG2 were to happen, would you prefer it being a direct sequel and maybe take more hold into Smithy's world, or be a sequel that actually takes place quite the long time after the original with some changes. Mallow is king of Nimbusland now, Frogfucius was replaced with one of his students, etc. to reflect to sheer amount of time since the games been touched.

I suppose you could replace browser with geno, he had that one special that could one shot anything with 9999 damage if you timed it just right but it must have been a 1 frame because I only did it like less than 5 times. The Mario RPGs as a whole are successors to SMRPG. As for why they never made a SMRPG 2 I guess it's because their relationship with Square fell through or something. With how dead M&L and PM are now a SMPRG 2 is pretty much our only hopes at getting another good Mario RPG now
