I know, it's just that Yea Forums's reaction to Mass Effect 3 is one of the main things I remember from this board. I think I remember that people getting mad about the endings was what caused that "Gamer Entitlement" shitshow as well, because of journalists getting defensive.

I don't think it's as horrible as some people make it out to be, but I think the saddest part of the whole situation is that if they had simply modeled her face in-game and given us half a brief glimpse of it under her hood once she took the visor off, people wouldn't have complained half as much.
Rannoch was the perfect place to reveal it if they were going to bother doing it at all. But as is, it feels like they were really resolute on not showing her face but backtracked on it at the last second. Hitting a kind of middle-ground that left people on both sides of show/don't show dispute complaining.

Playing now with everything in mind and knowing it all goes no where really takes that initial wtf out. But if you actually liked the games and start a new character from the first game you'll realize just how shit ME3 is mid playthrough.
