They started doing season passes when LR came out. Funny enough they did it in response to feedback because people wanted to get everything in one bundle. Except they still charge based on buying the sets separately. Most wouldn't mind it but in the west you typically either pay for a single season pass or pay for a yearly one. This one is 2x the most expensive western season passes and it only covers 3 months instead of a year. Sadly, people are still defending this shit.

Nothing wrong with having DLC. However, from what I see in the Steam store is that you can't buy a specific portion of the DLC that you actually want, you're forced to buy the entire $93 USD Season Pass. The name of it is alarming too, it's named "Season Pass 1". There could be even more of these fucking passes that already cost upwards of 150% of the price of the base game.

Is there a way to buy these costumes individually in previous titles? All I'm seeing is that they are bundled into Season Passes. So in this case, it's like if you are going to a clothing shop and the only way you can get what you want is if you buy out everything else in the store with it.

We don't know how it will work for 6. For DOA5, console players could buy (almost) all outfits individually. Each season pass had one or two exclusive outfits but the rest were sold a la carte. Unfortunately PC players got screwed as only the season passes were available on Steam and costumes couldn't be purchased individually. Until outfits start coming out we won't know how KT are handling it this time.
