Give me your honest opinion on KH3
Give me your honest opinion on KH3
I've never played the series but it's fucking shit
It looks like shit, I prefer DMC
i enjoyed watching my friend play it, it felt like a meaningful experience to share and discuss so thoroughly
It was fun. Not KH2FM fun but I enjoyed it. 8/10 hopefully the dlc can fix some of it's problems
trash
>hopefully the dlc can fix some of it's problems
Unless the dlc adds a skill to disable attractions, it won't fix shit.
>An absolute delight to lorefriends everywhere
>A disappointment to those looking for a challenge
>A great OST
>HP for bosses is all over the place (like how Davy Jones has more HP than Anti-Aqua)
>Disney worlds didn't matter at all
>Carribean was one giant gimmick that I personally hated because it took away from the combat
>Arendelle is the worst world they've ever made and it's all Disney's fault for telling Nomura that they can't change anything about his baby
>Post game sucks
>Barry/XV-Kun won't shut the hell up about it and it's getting annoying
>Loading times are shit when you really think about it
>Limited amount of Keyblades
>Why is twilight town so damn small
>Why the hell was Scala so short
>Gummi Ship stuff in general was fun, would have been great if they didn't restrict how much you could go up or down in free roam space
That's all I care enough to type out
I give the game a 6.5/10 thanks for the new music
Disable them? You know you can just not use them?
It was a good movie to watch.
fun.
It's not perfect but it's still very good. The Disney stuff that comprises 80-90 percent of every KH game is handedly the best in the series. Most all of the lagging points are stuff that got fixed in 2FM as well.
Arendelle fucking sucks in the context of 3 but it's still leaps and bounds ahead of a lot of the shitty worlds. Compare Arendelle to anything in BBS or an abortion like Pride Lands, it's unquestionably better
It's good
It was better than BBS I guess?
Based
Cringe
Worlds are pretty hit or more miss, toy box is incredible and monsters inc is pretty gud. Then you have tangled which is a piss poor retelling of the story in “narrow corridors the world”. I’m currently on the frozen world and it looks like another retelling of the story starting about a third of the way into the movie with a random “ice labyrinth”. I’ll probably hate it if what I’ve heard about it are true. Besides that most of the triangle commands are too powerful, attractions in particular are basically “I win buttons” and they pop up all the time. I love gummi ships but getting the reportedly strongest gummi ship in the second map kinda kills any motivation to explore because any ship I could make can’t possibly compare to the Golden high wind. I do like keyblade upgrading and world partners not replacing Donald or goofy though.
The disney worlds were not interesting at all like they are in every game
Lack of postgame is disappointing but not unexpected, of course we're getting some form of Final Mix whether it be DLC or another release
Dark Inferno is a better secret boss than everything in 2FM and the combat system is so refined and flexible in terms of air combat now that I'm really excited we get more bonus bosses
Story is whatever tier, the voice acting is really bad and the scene direction leaves a lot to be desired. Everyone jobs for some reason.
Reflect is missing which I miss a lot but I just found out Water has Reflect/Aero built in during the initial casting period
Flowmotion sucks because of poor implementation, if it was easier to activate/attacked quicker so you didn't whiff as much it would be a lot more useful
8/10
I did that against Dragon Maleficent in 1 because I was way more retarded back then and couldn't beat her legit. I just let the other two hit her until 1 hp and then killed her.
stop posting that webm like it proves any point, retard
Fun. Looking forward to critical mode and more superbosses.
Not bad, but I really dislike how they give you pretty much all your tools right out of the gate
incomplete game, I'm tired of fucking AAA games doing this. you wait years for it to come out and it's still not done yet.
It's too easy for me to engage with it properly
I feel you there. It feels like Nomura and whoever else didn't bring their A game to this at all.
Feels good to hit things
It's pretty
Disney world's were pretty much all fun to see through, good mix of adaptations and new stories
Good music
Final arc of the game gave me almost everything I wanted
Last 3 hours of the game tests whether or not you were paying attention to the game and all the games before it which I appreciate
The Final World is peak kingdom hearts and the best thing in the series bar none
Sets up interesting things for the future
8/10 game as a longtime fan, can't say how it would be for a newcomer. Could have executed a few story moments better and could use post game additions which are in the works. Can jump to 9/10 pretty easy with some additions
its for retards only and the fanbase are the absolute most defensive babies out there. Still seething that fat dunky didn't like their game
The constant Kingdom Hearts threads are starting to wear down my resistance. Can a normal person enjoy these games? Or do you have to be a hyper autist like these guys

Best game in the series since KH2. World/level design was arguably the best in the series. Way too fucking easy though. The combat was nice, but they needed to tone down on the finishers/attraction stuff. Game wrapped up fairly nicely, although I would have preferred if they wrapped up the box shit too. Honestly, it feels like most of the people calling it shit for story reasons are people that haven't touched the series since 2 and are the ones that think the game has been in development for like 14 years despite there being like 5 games in between 2 and 3.
>Or do you have to be a hyper autist like these guys
you gotta be a hyper autist, even if you aren't larping in the parking lot you have to make 300 tweet long posts trying to analyze the story and themes to make one feel mature for playing a disney game with level 1 anime shonen characters in it.
It's probably easier if you are like those kinds of nerds. All I can say for certain for KH3 as a newcomer is you get to see into the eyes of a madman and probably autistic person like Nomura
I loved every game in the series beating them all, and most to 100% completion. KH3 was shit and clearly unfinished/rushed.
> I love gummi ships but getting the reportedly strongest gummi ship in the second map kinda kills any motivation to explore
>I do like keyblade upgrading
You might want to look into the asteroid fields next time you're in the Gummi ship
I mean if the story gets too retarded you can just skip cutscenes. The gameplay is pretty fun. Although frankly you’d be better off playing the earlier ones until they fix the issues with the third game.
Would be better if they stuck to KH 2 combat and expanded on it. Also add more enemies and bosses. Then would be up from a 6 to 8
If story was better it, would be a 10
Fun but lackluster.
>Square Enix didn’t share much info about the end-game development stage, but Nomura teased that it was “something he’s always wanted to do and put into Kingdom Hearts, ever since the days of working on Final Fantasy.” He also added that “It is bound to surprise everyone.”
Does anyone know what Nomura was referring to?
I'm actually playing DDD for the first time right now and I'm liking it more than KH3. Make what you will of that.
>“It is bound to surprise everyone.”
Possibly how utterly rushed and unfinished it was after years in the making.
The worlds were better in DDD imo. Except for the underwater world.
Made me wish it had it's own original story from beginning to end instead of tying up loose ends.
The bit with the final world maybe? Things sort of take on a darker tone there.
Easy but otherwise fine. Needed an actual final world instead of a boss gauntlet.
If I had to guess, it's Scala ad Caelum. Purely conceptual and has no meaning at all to the story
I’ve found Damascus, fluorite and standard blocks. I know the pink crystals give fragments but do the ships they give outdo the high wind? It’s worth like 3.8k or something and my max build amount is a little less than 1k currently.
It was definitely the final world because it was pretty fantastic
>Posting the inferior version
youtube.com
Have you tried playing them?
The Disney world's were only good in 1 and BbS
They were boring as fuck in two and I ended up skipping most of the cutscenes
Disappointing conclusion that NEEDS a final mix to address issues with difficulty, side/endgame content, and story pacing.
The story issue probably cant get fixed but if KH3FM adds critical difficulty, a handful of superbosses, an olympus arena, a few new keyblades, and perhaps add in Radiant Garden with all the FF characters it can be salvaged
>Dark Inferno is a better secret boss than everything in 2FM and the combat system is so refined and flexible in terms of air combat now that I'm really excited we get more bonus bosses
Fun and simple gameplay but trash story.
>BBS
>good Disney Worlds
Just let it go user, a crit difficulty can salvage how bad it was. The problems are way deeper than what that can change.
Battle system just misses the mark
Story was serviceable but the sequel baiting ruined moments that should’ve been cherished
not him but i really liked them (minus simbas world) i also liked you had to rewist everyone of them and some of those bosses were fun as hell to fight.
Good taste, so underrated.
It's pretty mediocre but not atrocious or anything. Probably better than any of the handhelds but not way worse than 1 or 2
It was everything I had hoped for and I loved it. My biggest complaints are that Leon and co. didn't even get a cameo and that the game really should've done away with the attraction commands.
Re: Coded was better.
>Dark Inferno is a better secret boss than everything in 2FM and the combat system is so refined and flexible in terms of air combat now that I'm really excited we get more bonus bosses
i meant to say "but way worse" not "but not way worse"
Trash that was intentionally half-assed and rushed so that Nomura could use the next title as a blank canvas to project his canned FFv13 frustrations & ideas.
I'm hoping the DLC will make it semi-decent but if FFXV was anything to go by, then I wouldn't be surprised if said DLC just ends up being shit that was purposefully removed from the base game.
Probably the Final World, which was one of the handful of things that was exceptionally well-done in this game. Plus the dialogue from the stars didn't really like something that would get a pass from Disney.
I fucking hate how it controls. Why the fuck does Sora come to almost a full stop when sprinting and then trying to turn slightly to another direction? It removes all semblance of momentum when just trying to manouver the environments. It honestly baffles me how a AAA developer can let controls like these pass in fucking 2019. I mean it controls even worse than the PS2 games, and they had piss poor controls for their time.
It feels like the Yooka-Laylee of Kingdom Hearts.
From someone who played vanilla KH1 and KH2 back in the day and has played every game since, it was decent.
The game is too easy but combat was still fun. The music and graphics are great as expected. Most of the scenes at Keyblade Graveyard were great. Epilogue and secret ending were great.
The worst parts were the ending (the power of waking wasn't explained well enough for me to really even care about Sora disappearing. And he appears in the fucking secret ending anyways so we know he's going to be fine) and how the original worlds were shafted in favor of Disney. The final worlds in KH1 and 2 were always fantastic and had great boss fights leading up to the final boss. Scala wasn't a world, but a one room arena with merely ok bosses.
>The child who died looking for their dad
That hit pretty hard
Yet another AAA title that was mishandled and rushed due to poor decision making at Square-Enix
blatant unfinished cash grab with braindead combat, going to buy a complete edition used later
