I like TP Link, smash ultimate Zelda, and TP Ganondorf

i haven't even played Hyrule Warriors and can already see that the character designs are very well made

You cannot believe how happy I am these designs are finally gone. Yeah, lets just make the entire zelda line up based on Twilight Princess, one of the worst games, all 4 characters, even the one who never appeared in TP. Even though we have since had different games and the fame of that game died down significantly to where even it's HD remake flopped.

Zelda switching to LttP was a great homage to the older games and the best she has looked by far, no longer just looking like she'd rather be anywhere else. Link gets his hero's tunic but defaulting him to BotW is great for all the new fans that game brought in but also to replace the shitty tornado boomerang with actually useful and fun remote bombs. Ganondorf I could take or leave. I actually did like old man ganon, but it doesn't fit too well and n64 fans need a bone, even they now have young link.

All the new designs are also way better for color. These 3 just looked like extremely awkward direct carry overs from when Brawl was trying to be dark and edgy.

BotW Link is absolute garbage and a huge mistake.
OoT Dorf is perfect.
Young Link is perfect.
Zelda is great, but not necessarily better than other designs.

Hyrule Warriors designs are fanfiction tier and has no place anywhere near Smash.

OOT designs were the best ones
TP's were alright but were held back by the rest of the artstyle
HW designs only work for HW
Toon designs are simplified garbage that should've been a one-time occurrence, the long arms/stubby legs shit got old fast
don't really care for the other artstyles though the manual art for ALTTP is breddy gud and should've gotten a full adaptation at this point

They really should have had alts for all the different designs for the characters from previous games. This is Smash Ultimate after all, would have loved to see Fox with his Star Fox 64 design again.
