its free man, just try yourself. Its only game like that for VR. Its also a chat, it allows user created content its what you make of it.
Any tips for someone that struggles to start a conversation? I mean i can join a conversation when someone talks to me but yeah.
It's quite amazing. The ability to upload your own character model with its own shaders, sounds and animations makes it probably the most unique game I've ever played.
Stop thinking so much, just go up to someone and wing it.
You may be trying to totally avoid the risk of failure. Don't. No one ever gets anything done that way.
Okay i'll give it a go.
Can't be any worse than real life encounters and social awkwardness right?
The ability to headpat nekololis is amazing. Sometimes I just have to hold out my hand and they start rubbing against me in the hope of headpats.

That'll do.
It's the closet thing VR has to a "killer app" at the moment, and thankfully its a sandbox.
I got VR and upgraded my computer specifically for VRChat and don't regret it.
Not at all. Pretty much nothing you do in VRChat matters (given that you're not breaking any laws).
It's actually a great way to practice social interaction for the real world.
Fucking lewd.
Easiest conversation starter is if somebody's avatar is from something you've seen or know about, you can ask them what they think about it. They're either a fan or some fag who has never seen it.
I don't like it. Most people play privately and the rest are either koreans, japs, ruskies, or spergs. I'm not saying I'm any better, but it's really hard to start a convo when some 12 year old weeb is spilling his spaghetti trying to fit in with a group of japs that clearly don't speak much english or understand his attempts to speak japanese.
Thankfully, there is a literal russian child nearby with a loud ass distorted mic broadcasting every keypress on their no-vr having setup to drown out the cringe.
