Rodina if you like space exploration games.
Myst series
You need great music to have good atmosphere, so that statement is somewhat redundant.
love it
i'll buy it asap, thanks
STALKER series
Darkwood.
What a weird fucking movie that was man
what movie?
seen it almost 10 years ago
cant recall any of the scenes, but yeah, russians are weird
STALKER (And yes, its a movie too)
counterpoint: Bloodborne
The movie was based on the actual novel Roadside Picnic, which I assume is better than the flick
Deadly Premonition
fucking newfags
Roadside Picnic, STALKER (movie) and STALKER: SoC are all very different. They all share a similar setting and themes but the plots are pretty distinct and divergent.
I wouldn't know, I don't read manga
t. 14yo
played it with my old friend long ago, very good game
I was 23 when I saw it, faggot
Bloodborne has great music you absolute nigger.
Unironically
The movie, the book and the game only share a similar setting. They are all extremely different and might as well be completely unrelated.
i didnt like it, not even the first one
Smt 3 nocturne
tasteless fag
Pathologic is a great game with good atmosphere and music, the gameplay is fairly weak, but the atmosphere and plot can hold it up if you are looking for that

Tishmoy. Or "Mah D'nigga" if you will. google.com

Mount the ISOs of 2 & 3, and then run their installers like always.
DON'T use W10's own virtual disc app! Don't install under C:\Program Files\ !
The SH1 is a PS1 rip that you gotta emulate.
Follow the SH2 widescreen fix site's instructions to the teeth, and you should be fine.
For 3 & 4, check the Guide.
>Protips
-Play in the release order
-Never play below Normal difficulty
-Replaying them all is recommended
-Turn down the ingame Brightness setting
-Don't try to kill everything that moves, especially outdoors
-Turning OFF the flashlight can really help
Shadow Of The Colossus PS4
This.
based SH poster still at it after all this time.
I think the book and games share a ton of similarities. From the idea of the Wish granter, to most of the anomalies and artifacts. The Zone (albeit the book has a lot of zones and in various places). The scientists, the cordons and militaries. The (impossible) mutations caused by the Zone. Ofc. the atmosphere itself. I don't know why but the bad guy "i swear i wont double cross you, hehe lets work toghether" Burbridge felt like Sidorovich to me.
>calls a nigga out for having pleb taste
>"you spammed everyone with replies I'm not dumb you are grrr"
killer7
Also, if you haven't read the book yet, do, it's great.
finally saved this pasta for the time being
Anyone who thinks the film and the book may as well be unrelated are absolutely fucking retarded and incapable of understanding anything beyond the most shallow surface level.
either you like it or not the Soul series excel in this regard. it has both good atmosphere and music.
That is one autistic fit there, user
Final Fantasy VII
Myth: The Fallen Lords
Atomic Heart looks promising.
>good atmosphere
ahahah-
>good music
AHAHAHAH
I would hear an argument for that.
My main point with Bloodborne is how it has brilliant atmosphere despite having very little music accompaniment.
Nier: Automata.
dragon's dogma dark arisen
>played it with my old friend
Zach...?
Do we know anything at all about the dev team?
The game has a lot of references to the book and the movie.
- E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy
A Sauce Engine game made by a french developers. Plays almost as original Deus Ex if not better. Have great atmosphere and OST too.
You can play Co-Op with 32 friends. If you have one ofc.
- Darkwood
Isometric Survival made by team of 3(?) slav developers. Has an actually spooky atmosphere but lack any kind of OST and mainly plays ambient in background.
- Vangers
Oh boy. Even for me (as a guy from eastern europe) it was a hard one. I don't want to spoil anything and I would say that is the most hard one to get into.
- Pathologic
Cluncky af, gameplay is dull and hard. On the other hand, the plot is interesting, atmosphere is great and the music adds a lot to it. Can be really spooky sometimes.
- The Void
Just play it.
I bet you like Witcher
You don't get to judge peoples taste with shit taste like yours
Sound design in general is pretty good and plays an important role.
Just because there isn't music playing all the time doesn't mean the music isn't good but then again I guess that was your point in the first place, how silence can be atmospheric too
Gothic 2
>Vangers
Looks very cool, how did I never hear of this before?
My legs are okay!
It was made in 1998 and as far I know it mostly was noticed in Russia. It become available on Steam and GoG only 2014.
Oh, and i forget to add something about Vangers. Game use voxels instead of pixels.
Pic related.
VTMB is probably the best one
only the first one was really any good, and mostly because the mako planet segments still remain pretty unique. Ideally they would have spent more devtime to make the landscape more alien instead of looking like it was obviously made in a blender tool, but still kept points of interests sparse across the surface, because damn it is atmospheric at times
wrong.
example: doom3 has good atmosphere and has no music.
Thief series
BrĂ¼tal legend
Then why are you judging others, when you have such obviously shit taste?
It's probably because you haven't subscribed to Mandalore on YT
Shit taste. ME1 is a classic.
