Is this worth paying for full price for the solo play alone? I've never played a Diablo btw
Is this worth paying for full price for the solo play alone? I've never played a Diablo btw
I'm in the same boat actually
Just for the campaign? Absolutely not.
If you want to grind it out beyond the campaign and do adventure mode, rifts, and bounties all solo? Maybe. If you like farming, grinding, and ARPG's in general then yes it's a good buy. I would try to get it cheaper though if you're not 100% sure you want to play it.
try path of exile, its free so you wont waste your money on garbage
Yes I had a lot of fun for about 150 hours before it got too repetitive for me
why solo play? asking because you will need to be always online to play this shit anyway. If you have never played diablo anyway, then try the diablo 3 demo or POE (it's free), as someone already suggested
Just get diablo 2
Yeah, easily. You do the story then start doing rifts for loot. Find out about kanais cube and shit. As long as you like loot grinders, if you only play games for their story then no.
PoE is barely worth it even for free
>>PoE is barely worth it even for free
its better than d3 for sure, and its actually free while d3 is not
no
Since it sounds like you're talking about the Switch version, I'd say absolutely not
poe is free because literally no one would play it otherwise
PoE was worth playing five years ago.
Why not the Switch version? I'm after a good cathartic game to play in the comfort of my bed
whatever you say nigga, poe dabs on diablo
Not that guy but the switch version is honestly the best version for exactly what you said. 3 sucks on peecee because its too easy so it makes the perfect handheld game.
>people willingly throw hundreds of dollars on cosmetics
yeah i bet fag
This. POE used to actually be a good D2-esque sequel nowadays it's just D3 whilst playing considerably worse but with more depth.
Is there some way to make the game look less shitty though?
The only reason that I'm still playing diablo 3 instead of PoE is because I can't get used to how stiff the game feels compared to the fluidity of D3's combat.
it's a very competent game, it just will not hold your attention for long.
the Switch version is unironically the best version of D3
sorry but no, poe doesnt have mlp filter
Absolutely. Remember female is the only acceptable way to play barb.
Always online isn't a thing on the console versions
Sorry I worded it incorrectly maybe.
I don't mean the graphics, more like a combination of the animation, sound and hit feedback.
When you whirlwind through a pack of mobs in D3 it feels godlike.
When you do it in PoE it's just not very satisfying.
yes, forgot about that
Good for 60-100 hours easy. Start at the beginning of a season and by the time the season is over you will have probably experienced it all. If you're still into it, good news! You get to start again. If not, great.
If you like grinding games it's alright but I dunno if it's worth buying. I wouldn't spend over $20 bucks for it when their are free options. While it is better than some of the free alternatives it's not that much better.
if you dont like it then too bad for you. you cant change it. did you like d2?
>reminder that this is supposed to be released this month
No, POE will always be incompetently designed. Can't change that.
NO.
Not in a million years.
can you change the d3's feel? because i dont like it
No, diablo will always be incompetently designed. Can't change that.
To be specific I wouldn't really have anyone to play with so I'd mostly be playing it solo
not sure about d3, but in poe you just join random party, literally 1 click
I thought it was fun when I played it. RoS improved a lot of stuff.
test
>diablo will always be incompetently designed
>no facts to back it up
Go play Apex Legends you 12 year old.
prove me wrong. can you change it or not?
lmao diablo 3 has 12 yo rating
It's best solo, the endgame content is all solo focused as well.
just like any other arpg ever
