look, I like dota and I have fun playing it. but we both know those numbers would not be anywhere near that high if auto chess wasn't a thing right now

If Fortnite, Apex, Minecraft, LOL and Overwatch were on that list the Dota numbers would look trvial.

It still brings impressive numbers but more than 1/3 of those numbers are solely due Autochess

True but I don't think it was ever in crazy danger. Over 700k peaks is still pretty impressive for a game that never broke into full casuals like League.

Valve will for sure pick up the DAC guys and just refund people the 20 dollars they spent on Artifact and release a full blown F2P DAC with more than couriers being monetized.

Custom games were bugged and showing higher, there aren't 300k people playing Auto Chess. There is only 13 lobbies open right now, Battle for Mirkwood has almost as many.
