It’s a great game
With a disappointing narrative
Mechanical apartheid is really fucking stupid.
It really isn't
It made more sense and was more coherent than HR.
the narrative was good, they just killed off the most interesting character immediately for some reason Talos. they could have done a lot more with him. i thought that's when the game was going to end, because everyone said it was so short. but i enjoyed being a wanted man in prague later on, and the battle with Gigaslav.
Half a story
Half the story was locked behind DLC and Piraxis were able to be bought and used with real money for a SINGLE PLAYER STORY. Past that the story seem rushed and there's only one hub (the slums barely even counted and went by fast).
It's human revolution with better graphics. I'd say a must buy at $4.29 sale for any who are big fans of human revolution
I work in the medical device industry and its laughable to think the FDA would ever grant approval for weaponized medical devices.
Square Enix cutting the story in 2 parts, so that they can double cash in.
very little
it's way better than HR. i guess the marketing was a major fuck up.
Not just the marketing, but the launch. "Augment your preorder" was fucking retarded and so were the microtransactions.
But in the end, that had very little impact on the game.
if you ignored all the microtransaction and publisher fuckery, it is a top tier deus ex game
It's literally half a game. It just ends when the plot is starting to pick up.
Breach mode. Seriously what the fuck?
MD 2 WHEN
the story is not finished
Most of the HR plot was bullshit.
>fuck augs they're stealing our jobs
>what jobs?
>all of them
>how?
>they just are
>why can't you compete without augs?
>because
Last I heard it didn’t hit SE’s sales expectations so is on ice for a while. That being said they completely mismanaged the marketing to this game and spent way too much money on it, so I can see why it didnt sell enough for them.
Story was garbage, but the gameplay was legit.
It is. It's simpleminded, boring and lazy.

They were locking content bonuses through a crowdfunding type pre-order program. Since they were the ones controlling all the data, the numbers could be skewered however they wanted. People picked up on that and called them out early.
It's a great game that was marketed poorly. Also cut content in the main story.
