I agree that it has its fair share of awful generic wallpapers, but I pick the ones that allow me to adjust both the effects and wallpapers to my own liking
I also haven't had any issues with memory using it, but it has crashed on me a couple times, which was pretty annoying
It's a pretty neat tool overall imo

You can set different desktops for different monitors in stock Windows 10. Open the personalization menu, and you'll see thumbnails of recent wallpapers, you can right click them and then select a monitor.
