>Pick a mediocre game
>Make it a 10/10 masterpiece
Go
Pick a mediocre game
replace all of the werehog levels in sonic unleashed with regular sonic levels.
Devil May Cry 2
Make it more difficult.
How about Skyrim with good writing, gameplay, and competent development team behind it.
>Overwatch
Replace FPS gameplay with dating simulator or porn game mechanics
>Minecraft
Rewind updates by 8 years
>MGSV
Don't make it open world.
Combine FTL: CE with OpenXcom
20/10 literally the perfect game
Dead space.
Easy.
>Tip South Africa
>FFX-2
Give it anything other than its existing plot.
>call of duty, but with little girls
>battlefield, but with little girls
>counter strike, but with little girls
>God of War
>make combat interesting
Haha nice one
FF Type-0
make Ace the only playable character and increase his moveset / rebalance dmg-hp / any spell is accessible mid fight
persona-like s-link system with the party
more interesting cities
more lore should show up in-game instead of having to read the codex thing
Replace ME:C's mechanics with the ones from the original game and remove forced fights.
>League of Legends
>Reduce the playable roster to a quarter
>Make it a fighting game
This guy gets it
Catherine
>Make vincent's choices affect the story more
>more endings
>more exploration
> instead of randomly choosing Catherine after katherine breaks up with him and he wants to be with katherine. Make Vincent mutually break up with katherine like he did with rin a d fix up the story consistency.
>more days
>fix up cinematics
>add more bosses and enemies
>add more unique levels
>more types of blocks and multiple power ups
Add better world exploration, less linear paths, fewer walking cinematics, and remove over the shoulder camera
FEAR
>have enemies spawn in the room after you get to the middle of it instead of as you're entering or them already being there
>every combat room should have at least two seperate entrances that the enemies can use, preferably on opposite sides of the room. They don't have to be usable by the player, something like a window to jump through or a hole in the ceiling that clones can drop down through
>either make the entrance to each room flankable from within the room or have the entry way doors shut behind the player when they pass through it, forcing them into a flankable position. This is to stop cheesing.
>overall, the player should never be able to just hide behind cover, safetly headshotting clones from an unflankable position
>difficulties after normal would no longer increase bullet damage, but instead increase the number of enemies in each instance of combat. Maybe more heavy troopers too, in places where they don't normally show up.
>Kingdom Hearts II
>Remove the teenager edgelord that directed and wrote it.
>Give it to someone with writing talent.
>Monster Hunter World
>remove all the unnecessary jank that makes it infuriating trying to play with friends
Steel Battalion Heavy Armor with modern VR control instead of kinect.
How do you fix the story after doing that? Laugh at me but I think Unleashed has the best written story of all the modern Sonic games, removing it would make it worse in my opinion.
>Take out one of the best parts of a flawed, storyless game
I think you misunderstood OP
>Europa Universalis 4
>remove mana and add population, trade goods, tactical battles, royal family trees and ruler and generals,
Actually it is too long list of changes required...
>Mass Effect Andromeda
Nuke bioware and hire someone competent
Asura's Wrath
Make the combat good.
Don't even need that, just bring back the beta terrain generation, make extreme hills biome go up to about y=230 to compensate, bring back the old sword hitting mechanics, and rework/remove hunger
Dragon Age 2. Make it a city builder/management/politics game, keep everything else intact somehow. I don't know how but I'd play it.
>Breath of the Wild
Your weapons don’t break
Add in several boss fights.
Put in subtle humor in an otherwise dark game
Make Ocelot a bigger part of story instead of him being a glorified tutorial guide
Have Hayter voice real Big Boss at the end.
Add more things to do on the oil rig
Don't kill Skull Face so early
Simple, remove the story
Sonic games shouldn't have a story beyond the blurb on the back of the box
Killing skullface early was part of the theme of the game though
You may not like it, but it is definetly intentional, they even talked about it in interviews
I feel most people have a problem with MGSV mostly because it wasn't pandering to them like MGS4 was, rather than for its actual issues (unskippable helicopter rides, lack of missions in the second half, boring info-dump tapes)
Ocelot would have been easily fixable if he was portrayed by someone who isn't shit, the amount of personality you can inject in a line is astounding when you're not doing the same exact monotone voice through the entire game even if the character does not have a big role in the story outside of the intro and epilogue
People bitching about the empty overworld are seriously just latching on to something in order to avoid complaining about the storyline not pandering to them, because the game has you to traverse the overworld exactly seven times within 38 original missions (the three missions where you're following armed vehicles through the map, the Huey rescue mission, the honey bee mission and the mfinda oilfield mission) while spawning you close to the base of interest the other 31 times, and even then the monotony of traversing the overworld is broken by being able to listen to conversations between drivers, them passing through outposts while you find a way around them and what not
There is absolutely no reason to just go around the overworld doing nothing outside of those missions, even side missions usually have a spawning point nearby and that ties into the unskippable rides issue rather than anything else within the game
I'm sorry if wasn't the big boss war crime power fantasy everybody wanted but 99% of the industry is still pandering to power fantasies so I think one game doing something unexpected and different for once wasn't the end of the world
>assassins creed
>mirrors edge movement and combat mechanics
