Why is killing stuff the main gameplay mechanic for so many games?

Inb4 boomers get angry a child enjoys things they dont
Minecraft > Fortnite
I knew Asian kids were smart
because we humans love violence.
But that kid is right too, id prefer it if my son would play Minecraft instead of Fartnite. I've seen kids build some impressive creative stuff in it.
They sure are.
Both are gay.
30yo boomer here.
Minecraft Alpha... now those were good times.
Because I can't rape to establish dominance.
I thought the US was the smartests in the world? Is there a chink propaganda making them seem smarter?
This kid is going to become a serial killer or CEO.
>I thought the US was the smartests
Don't reply to obvious bait.
YOU'RE NOT MY MOM!!
U.s probably has the most geniuses but the majority of the population are retarded,
This Brandon fella won't have any fucking lungs after when I'm done with him.
China doesn't have open borders. There's your answer.
because it's the easiest thing to program and the easiest way to have a "conflict" the player can engage in
because its an activity you can engage in safely through video games that you can't in real life, and because it's very easy to understand and design around
when you die, you lose
doesn't get much simpler than that
Average IQ is Massachusetts is 103.
Average IQ in California is 95.
My. Dude. “Survival mode” ruined the game.
lmao
Why not?
Violence is one of the most fundamental elements of existence.
Because we don't get to kill that often in civilized society but we still have that animistic bloodlust in us.
Battle Royales have some pretty dark origins, indeed.
Because once again diplomacy has failed
because of the patriarchy. we need more feminist games which rely on emotional skill rather than physical or logical skill.
but you kill stuff in minecraft too? wtf shitkid
>violence is an integral part of the human psyche and drive
>society tames those impulses but provides few outlets other than sports
>those impulses that were passed down through the ages don't just go away
>games give a cathartic release via virtual destruction
Seems pretty simple to me. Not every game has to be violent, but it's easy to see why violence is so commonplace. It's a fantasy we can't easily act out without repercussions.
But in Fortnite no one dies, they get teleported away. In Minecraft you're actually constantly killing things. Animals, monsters etc. Stupid 9 year old.
Minecraft encourages creativity and stuff
Fortnite is just the brainlet wannabe MLG shit of its era
Um, sweetie, we've evolved past violence now. The only time violence is okay is if you're punching Nazis, otherwise it's something only bad people do, like Nazis.
>Only has 11 subscribers
>Has less of a manly voice than 13 year old boy
>Brags about trolling on redit
>Calls himself a chad lol
Mr bean is more of a Chad than you
"killing stuff" is not a gameplay mechanic, you fucking retard
Pandering to the lowest denominator; everyone understands say an fps, there is a gun on screen so you expect to aim and push the button to kill what you aimed at; immediate gratification, rinse and repeat. A strategy game that requires more complex thought eg planning for the future or an adventure game that requires you to consider your options and act accordingly to solve a puzzle.
HOW DARE YOU POST THIS? I WILL KILL YOU!
Lmao
Lmao
I mean, once I find a game I have passions for the subs will roll in if I make good tutorial based content.
Will to Live currently has like 200 active players, lol. 100 active players when I made those videos.
The streams are just shit I can re-watch when I become an old man for memory sake.
The people that live in American cities bring the number really low.
Someone better tell that to the entire arpg genre.
Son, I am disappoint.
China does cheat at literally everything.
