Are you enjoying your Switch?
What games are you picking up day 1 this year?
Are you enjoying your Switch?
What games are you picking up day 1 this year?
Definatly getting Super Mario Maker 2 on launch. I always wanted to play the first one but didn't own a Wii U, and I skipped the 3DS version because of the screen size and the map sharing system.
And I am enjoying the Switch.
How is Super Mario Bros Deluxe? I Didnt own a wii u so I never played the original.
I can't wait for Daemon X Machina, Astral Chain and Link's Awakening
Currently playing Octopath and still have to play Tales of Vesperia, Okami, XC2, Mario Odyssey, VC1.
Pretty interested in LA since I've never finished it.
I’m loving my Switch! Thank you for asking!
Super Mario Maker 2, Final Fantasy XII, Yoshi’s Crafted World and Astral Chain are the day ones I can think of right now.
>Yoshi
>Mario Maker
>Link's Awakening Remake
leaning toward mario maker or links awakening
Aesthetically about as interesting as watching paint dry, but the level design is solid and Luigi U's focus on rush platforming is a great challenge. Also the challenge mode has some fun little missions, Odyssey should have had something similar.
what the heck
>What games are you picking up day 1 this year?
Yoshi, Astral Chain, DxM, FE, Animal Crossing, Link's Awakening
>picking up day 1
Astral Chain, looks fantastic
Will wait to see about new Zelda
Downloading the Yoshi Demo, but won't be getting it day 1, too much on my plate.
Dude holy shit
Playing through Valkyria Chronicles 4 whenever I'm not in Smash if I'm using the thing. Almost 300 hours in Smash and no signs of stopping. I love this thing.
Day one buys this year for it will be Mario Maker 2, Fire Emblem, Astral Chain, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Link's Awakening and maybe Oninaki.
Day 1 buy
Pokemon
Zelda
Animal Crossing if it actually comes out this year
Mario Maker
Rune Factory 4 rerelease
Crosscode
Dragon Quest Builders 2
DQ11
Dragons Dogma
FF7/10/12
Probably some other shit I forgot
This is going to be a nice year, like the Switch's first year.
I really hope Pokemon comes out around Thanksgiving though. Playing LGPE wrapped up in bed during my Thanksgiving break last year was like maximum comfy time.
I just finished Q.U.B.E.2 and The Adventure Pals recently, both games I got from Super Rare. They were enjoyable, the latter game dragged on for too long though.
Gonna actually dive into Katamari Reroll soon when time allows, also about to complete Bowser's Inside Story 3DS.
Oh yeah forgot about Astral Chain and Fire Emblem
As I recall this is actually a developer playing the game. They are supremely skilled at their own NSMB games.
Is Diablo 3 any good? Never played a Diablo game before. Is there enough single player content to justify buying it at full price?
Finished Zelda the other day so I'll be booting up DOOM for the first time shortly
Also downloaded the free chapter of Deltarune, how is it? Never played Undertale before.
Which version of Pokemon I decide to get, that's for sure. Outside of that, nothing really jumps out at me yet. I still love my Switch, mind you. It's just that it's more of an eShop machine that also plays Smash and Fortnite Tetris.
Even number I get dragon quest Builders again
Odd number I pick something else
The South Park games are on sale. I kinda want them since I've never played them before and heard they were entertaining, but I remember hearing Stick of Truth had a shit ton of issues when it came out. Anybody know if it got patched up?
Compared to D1/D2/90% of others in its genre it's garbage. That said, some people enjoy the braindead "only three stats really matter" shtick, the grind for loot and the grind for customizing the loot. Another problem with the Switch version if you want to play with others online: the half-assed solution to increasing the difficulty was adding like twenty difficulty modes, so the playerbase is segregated into all these different spots with no way to actively browse games.
Played through Stick of Truth in almost its entirety. Suffered one moment where the scene only half-loaded and I had to restart the game, otherwise it ran great. I haven't got too far in the second game because the new combat system is nowhere near as interesting, but the little I did play seemed a tad heavy on the loading screens.
Playing Smash but fags keep quitting in Arenas
playing SMB3, real ez mode with the save states.
Dont usually preorder shit. But this years pokemon game imma preorder when i know exclusives.
I just bought the new Toejam & Earl game and played it for a day.
The game's cool, definitely something I'd love to play in coop with friends,
however I can't recommend the Switch version unless it gets major performance patches.
Listen, I get the Switch has some drawbacks hardware wise but no way in hell should a game with mostly 2D sprites
and motion tweening and simple as fuck flat 3D terrain drop to the 20's everytime the camera zooms out.
The game legit looks less visually impressive than Animal Crossing, a fucking N64 game and it runs like ass.
I'm really disappointed since I really wanted to play this with a friend of mine and I can't recommend the game in this state.
After 40 ish games I own for the system now I feel a sense of buyers remorse for the first time.
>Are you enjoying your Switch?
I would be if I hadn’t forgotten to take it with me before flying out for two weeks.
>What games are you picking up day 1 this year?
Pokémon SaS, Animal Crossing. Though considering how bloated my backlog is, I might be better off just waiting to get them.
I know what you mean. It's annoying to see people always blame Switch hardware, but there IS such thing as lazy fuck devs, as much as ResetERA tries to refute it
Look at Mark of the Ninja also. Sub 30fps on Switch when it was 60ps on 360 and the devs have already said they won't be fixing it. Fuck them.
I didn't even know about MotN, that fucking blows.
Heard the TJ&E are super nice people so maybe they'll at least consider it, but man does it suck to wait.
Haven’t played in weeks because no games
I encountered the same shit when playing The Adventure Pals, there were some parts that had some real bad performance drops, though most of the levels were fine most of the time.
It's literally a Newgrounds/Armor Games Flash game complete with animated cutscenes of matching quality (which is what's endearing). The problem likely stems from too many objects loaded into scene, rather than the complexity of them.
Boring and forgettable, yes I did 100% the main Wii U campaign. Don't even feel like playing New Luigi U.
Have any of you guys 100% BoTW?
Luigi U is actually quality level design wise.
Much shorter levels with much greater challenge.
After mario odyssey, smash, Chasm, Hyrule warriors. I am completely out of games to play. Also Xenoblade 2 is fucking shit i hate it the first game is a billion times better im so upset about it
>inb4 botw
Played on wii u
I’m thinking of buying LGPE. Please tell me why I shouldn’t if I just want something comfy to kill time with.
I've only been playing Splatoon 2 because no games have come.out recently.
Try the demo. I hated it.
>Xenoblade 2 is fucking shit
You're fucking shit
LGPE is max comfy. It starts off very easy but you can get some challenge by storing your starter and swapping out different lower leveled Pokemon in your party throughout the game.
I really enjoyed it. Shame that nugenners who haven't even played it gave the game such a bad rep.
Mario Maker 2
Daemon X Machina (if they fix some of the stuff)
Astral Chain
Dead or Alive Extreme 3
No the game is just inferior to the first and even X is better.
>Please tell me why I shouldn’t
An entry that looks like at least SOME effort was put into it is coming out soon.
Same here, except I have bunch of single player Switch games on my backlog, but Splatoon 2 is hard to put down.
Not enough effort to put wild Pokemon in the overworld though.
Is Valkyria Chronicles 1 worth it? It’s on sale on the eshop for like £8
Mine has collected dust since a few days after Smash.
I should stop buying consoles. I absolutely love the Switch and the games I got for it, but since my PC is there and running at all times, turning around to start up my Switch is inconvenient.
I've bought, installed and never started: Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Tropical Freeze.
I played Smash for maybe 30 hours. MHGU for maybe 5 hours, I love it but starting it up is inconvenient. I finished Let's Go Eevee and beat Red, then didn't touch it again.
Meanwhile on my PC I either look at youtube all day or sometimes play an old game I like for the millionth time.
That's a good thing. Tiny sprites running around a small map makes it look like a Chinese phone game
>Pushing a button is inconvenient.
Nobody can be this lazy.
I don't have any single player games I haven't finished (except Octopath, but I finished 99% of it and I don't like it)
Last one I finished was Tales of Vesperia
Literally nothing else worth getting
zoomer
I just bought Mario Rabbids kingdom battle because I saw it was on sale. Christ 67% off, can't beat that.
it got patched
Recently replayed Deltarune on Switch.
Also thrashed Jevil on my first try, that's something.
No see user I have to first turn about 50 degrees from my PC monitor to face my $2000 OLED 4k tv that I got for my dusting PS4 Pro.
Then I have to wait for that piece of shit tv to turn on, I have to repeatedly press the remote's power button for like half a minute until the tv starts waking up. It's a fantastic tv when it's on tho.
Then grab the controllers and start the console/game up.
At the same time I can't watch or listen to youtube or read messages I probably won't ever receive from the three people I still talk to.
THEN after these mental gymnastics I can play.
I'm more concerned with deciding on a username that I like than playing games. I am absolutely autistic over this and it causes me severe anxiety, depression and personality crisis.
>1 hour 30 minutes to install Doom updates
fug. guess i should finally try the DxM demo
Does Bayo run at 60fps?
Any comfy rpgs recommendations?
Just came out of playing KH3 and now want something more relaxing to go through. For reference, only played XB2 and Octopath as far as Switch RPGs go
yup. drops are a little more common in handheld mode
That sort of inertia is very dangerous user. I wasted 2 whole years of my life like that doing nothing in my freetime because I relied on doing simply what I "felt" like doing in the moment. Some people need to force themselves to do things unfortunately.
>Labyrinth of Refrain
Nice
Grabbed Wargroove right away, and if they make a physical version I can tell you I'll be grabbing it again.
Mario Maker 2 for sure day 1. The last one was easily my most played Wii U game.
Pokemon and Daemon are strong maybes. I'm sure I'll get them eventually but not sure if day one.
Astral Chain, Crossing and the Dragon Quest games are definitely not day 1 buys for me, but I'll get all those down the line
If Ori and the Blind Forest actually comes to switch I'm buying that day negative one
Vesperia is pretty nice
Ys VIII if you don't mind bad performance
and while not exactly a rpg MHGU is pretty comfy if you go at your own pace
The Switch has already become my second favorite console after the PS2.
The next game I'm grabbing day one is Yoshi because my grandmother loved watching me play Yoshi's Island. It always helped her relax and it always made her happy. If her hands were younger, she could 100% it from how many times I've played it for it. She might enjoy this next one.
It's good but you would do well to play Undertake beforehand. It's not long. Like 7 to 8 hours.
It's exactly as you describe it.
I rarely do something unless I'm invited or made plans ahead of time, or if I very rarely feel like it.
I contemplate everything that's wrong with me and why I'm a terrible person most of my wake hours.
I'm indecisive and worthless, but not suicidal.
Playing Vesperia and some Smash
I don't think I'll buy anything day 1 because the new Pokemon looks bad, and that would be the only thing I'd care about
Also, Octopath is pure shit, I don't know why it's overrated around here
I think you need to start going for walks. I think the issue is that your life is becoming sedentary and that can't be good for your health, user.
Yep. Both of them. Occasional drops during larger scenes but otherwise silky throughout.
If you want a decent dungeon crawler, Labyrinth of Refrain is where it's at. It'll take a bit to get immersed in the world and mechanics because they are weird, but with some exposure it all begins to make sense. Try out the demo.
>bought mario rabbids for 20 bucks
>game with dlc included is on 25 bucks now
>dong expansion alone is 15 bucks
>and that would be the only thing I'd care about
Hard to believe looking at your library, unless you disliked most of them. And yeah I have no idea what people see in Octopath.
I had a Wii U so I don't care about Wii U ports.
There aren't any Wii U ports scheduled to come out
What were you referring to then?
Playing Stardew Valley while listening to music on your speakers has to be the comfiest thing in the world. Got like 120 hours in the last month.
But you have MK8 and Bayo 2
I know this feeling
I only bought MK8 because my buddy in another state wanted to play it online, but he won't pay for online so we haven't played it together since September. And Bayonetta 2 was a gift from my sister
How is Remilore? I heard it was really short.
gonna get the yoshi game probably and maybe hyrule warriors switch
play the liar princess if you haven't
Still working on Octopath Traveler
Definitely Luigis Mansion, Link's Awakening, Pokemon, Dragon's Dogma
Maybe a few others in between, if I have time
I don't know about Bayo 2 but MK8 has a lot of value because you can take that shit to parties and gatherings
I'm playing Bayonetta 1 atm and Valkyria Chronicles 4 is the one I play while waiting for other games. Last month I finished Travis Strikes Again and SSBU's WoL campaign.
And I'm waiting for Yoshi this month, and MK11 and FF12 on April.
I love how fast you can start and stop playing with this console. It's like, well, just got home, awake the switch, play, wife makes dinner, put switch to sleep, prepare the table, switch on, game, dinner's ready, switch sleep. Also, bringing this to a friend's house is SO easy. Unlike last year when four of us got together to play MHWorld on ps4, and to play in the same place, we'd all have to bring the console, cables and a tv; now it's just the switch. I could also bring my joycons and we could play smash with more people
HOOOOOOOLY shit it's even struggling with Mark of the Ninja. This is a fucking joke. I can't look forward to playing anything in the future, first or third, because of this
Buy a dock and put it in one of your free hdmi sluts
I just picked up World of Final Fantasy since it went up on sale.
Mario Maker's the only thing I'm getting this year. Gives me time to finish all the other stuff I've left halfway.
How are Child of Light and World of Final Fantasy?
I have NEVER said this to any user here, but YOU have great taste. Not a single bad/shovelware-tier game. Love that Valkyria Chronicles 4 there, Im halfway through.
>Not a single bad/shovelware-tier game
Let's Go Eevee is bad/shovelware-tier
Thanks anons, was eyeing vespiria and refrain, both sound like what I was looking for.
Might go with the latter because Etrian Odyssey was my comfy before bed RPG on 3DS
Story is trash, length is short, not much room or enemy variety, focused on loot but not enough loot, no significant increase in difficult, shallow combat
Definitely not worth full price
>Not a single bad/shovelware-tier game.
Did you miss Let's Go or something?
Let's Go wasn't bad at all.
Update on Toejam & Earl, I just started a new run and noticed next to no stuttering FPS wise.
Seems the game has been patched overnight, glad to see this.
I'll see if this will still be an issue in later levels with more characters on screen, though.
You don’t care about Mario Maker 2 and Astral Chain?
It's not the second coming of satan but it is pretty bad yea, all of the casual shit I don't care about but why on earth did they remove the base gameplay.
I really need to pick up a Pro Controller, I prefer playing docked and the joy-cons just feel too small for me that way. I guess I'm just brainwashed by 20 years of regular controllers.
I've also got the pirates curse where I can play anything but cant be bothered. The last game I finished was LGPE, but that was a given since I've played every Pokemon game.
I might give NSMB a go, or Oddessy. But I also want to play Tropical Freeze and finish Undertale. I'll probably spend the next three hours deciding and then ten minutes playing.
I hate my life.
Dragon Questfags help me out here. Is it worth getting Builders 1 when the sequel's coming out soon?
Yes it is.
Anyone here hacked their switch? Mine was a bit of a dust collector until a few weeks ago, now I play it at least a couple of hours every other day.
And it's not just the free games that are great, there's a whole bunch of seriously cool homebrews for the thing. Like a custom theme installer, an app for overclocking, a save exporter, retroarch, a lot of open source games... The work the fans put in makes the console way more worthwhile in my eyes.
>tfw comfy Sonic Kart friday nights with Yea Forums from the coziness of your bed
>Seems the game has been patched overnight
It wasn't. The fuck ups are just inconsistent and the devs are responding on Twitter when they aren't promoting the game.
Nope. I only like Platinum games when Kamiya is the director. When he's not the director, they're almost always shit (Transformers, Korra etc)
I played until I beat Red and then dropped it but how was it bad? What core gameplay was changed for the worse?
Super quick powerleveling was great.
Overworld mons was a surefire improvement instead of rng bush wandering.
Catching for exp wasn't less boring than catching by fighting, did save a ton of time.
The artstyle/graphics are cozy and definitely fits.
Very few fights posed even a little difficulty, just like Pokemon games always are.
>What core gameplay was changed for the worse?
did you miss that they removed the vast majority of pokemon battles?
you know, literally the point of the game?
hell I was actually upset they had so many new qol things (that they probably aren't going to have in bongland) because the core game was shit
is this thing good?
Thanks user. And yeah, VC4 is great. Really nice to go back to classic VC after the... whatever you want to call what Revolution was, I guess.
Let's Go is uninspired, but not shovelware or bad. It's still a solid, if relatively easy, 30 hour Pokemon game. There's a difference between being very safe and uninteresting, and being outright bad.
>but not shovelware or bad
Agree to disagree I guess
The only non-fighter battles that ever mattered were against legendaries. Come on. There was never anything exciting about battling pidgeys for hours.
>Are you enjoying your Switch?
Alternating between Octopath and Torno right now. But I feel like I'm gonna need to pick up something else to throw into rotation to not burn myself out on JRPGs, specially after a month or so of playing nothing but XBC2. Any suggestions of pick up and drop type of games that don't require 100% concentration?
>What games are you picking up day 1 this year?
Astral Chain, probably Sword/Shield. Everything else is at "wait till it gets cheaper level".
Are there any portable docks you guys use that you'd recommend? Not for constant use, but whenever I take the Switch over to someones so I don't have to unplug the dock from my set up.
>I really need to pick up a Pro Controller
Make sure it's a newer version (Smash edition is the safest bet) because the old one's have atrocious D-Pads. But apparently you can fix the D-Pads yourself with fucking tape:
I personally didn't like the expansion. You're not only forced to use rabbid peach but also forced to have the same exact party throughout the campaign.
Half of the base game's fun was experimenting with different party members, and also rabbid peach really isn't funny.
i've got the 8bitdo one, its awesome
DS4 works with motion control, fuck the joycons
Good looking out, thanks user
I agree with this. Including Rabbids peach was a bizarre choice since you get her at the start of the regular game. I'd rather have Yoshi or Rabbids Yoshi since they show up so late in the main game
Anyone excited for Pikmin 3 port?
>Only the bosses in an RPG usually put forth any serious challenge
>Ok let's remove literally every other fight
that's not a good idea
i can't imagine anyone who would think that's a good idea
imagine if you ported that ethos to other genres
I see very vague posts on twitter, one of them even saying PC has better framerate as if that's a way to promote it lol.
>Half of the base game's fun was experimenting with different party members
You say that as if you weren't super restricted there too.
>Mario
>at least 1 Rabbid, most likely Rabbid Peach or Rabbid Luigi
>a third
Animal Crossing is a 100% day one, might get Pokemon depending on how it looks, if it's just exactly SuMo again then no.
Fucking baffles me that there unironically exists retards that defend this dumbed down, no content having piece of shit. You dipshits are the ones enabling GameFreak to keep getting lazier and lazier, S/S looks okay so far but I guarantee it won't have any post game just like the last two Gens.
All tge regularshit trainers that take up half of the screentime are bosses now?
Catchspam instead of battlespam only changed it so that powerleveling would take 2 hours instead of 5. Again, immediately catching pidgeys on an exp boosting chain is way more fun and interesting than actually fighting them.
>S/S looks okay so far
No.
>woah choosing between eight characters is somehow the same as being forced to use the same three every level
false equivalence, the post
>Why don't all the enemies in an fps just kill themselves that's more fun for me
The picture is largely irrelevant tho? Gen 1 isn't gen 2. HGSS is always going to be the best gen to date, but Let's Go is still excellent.
>All tge regularshit trainers that take up half of the screentime are bosses now?
do you think trainers are any harder than wild pokemon?
I'm glad that switch is becoming the otome machine now that vita is dead. There haven't been as many good ones as vita had but I think that will come in time.
Regular cannon fodder in fps games don't have 10 second loading screens before and after oneshotting each individual target.
Stop grasping for straws.
This would've been fine if the catching mechanics in LGPE weren't fucked.
The actual throwing of the ball in either mode is not fun, at all. The catch rate is just too absurdly low, they didn't balance around the fact that you no longer reduce the HP of Pokémon.
I'm not grasping for anything I didn't want to play LGPE becuase they removed half the game.
If you want to play that I legitimately have no criticisms of you, it's just not something I wanted to play.
Not at all which makes my argument even stronger because you enjoy fighting pidgeys so much?
Yeah, I only remembered the D-Pad issue AFTER buying the Splatoon edition around September or October last year. The D-Pad is only good for the most basic menu navigation, forget about actually controlling a character in a 2D game on that thing. Will have try that tape fix later, but based on the reception of that video it seems to work.
So why couldn't Let's Go have been as good of a remake as HGSS?
It's because modern GF is lazy as shit
>tfw first time playing a smash game
>still only playing with ai
>i always lose because Im not good at fighting games
>enjoying it somehow
What's so enjoyable about this game what the hell
Stick of truth is pretty great, I would recommend.
Decide after that if you want Fractured
After 100 successful catches the catch rate changes to like 90% guaranteed. That's the reason you can powerlevel at ludicrous speeds after 100 chanseys.
If your answer isn't "Luigi's Mansion" you need to leave this board AT ONCE
because smash is a fun video game user
What if it's like dark moon though.
I mean sure. LGEE/LGPE would have been automatically better if it was set in gen 2 with all of ITS content instead. Gen 2 is to this day the best gen. But LGEE/LGPE is still great and arguably the best version of gen 1.
>Let's Go is still excellent.
Maybe if you're a literally retarded 2 year old AKA the game's target audience.
>HGSS
>gen
I guess you are.
The 3DS game did a lot of damage to the franchise popularity on Yea Forums.
It's weird that the original is so beloved anyways, I mean you can finish that shit in a single session, a disastrous thing for a launch title, but MUH PORTRAIT GHOSTS and all that.
>LGEE/LGPE
user you do know what LGPE stands for right? what is LGEE?
I wish the switch had something co-op and grindy and also gave me friends to do all the co-op grindy shit.
Nah, Let's Go isn't even as good as FRLG. GF is just lazy.
I haven't played the second one. And it's been so long since I played the first that I can't remember a single thing from it. Which means I probably didn't have that much fun with it because it didn't leave an impression.
God I want to play Splatoon so bad but I don't want to support the online jewery
It's getting hard. The game is calling for me from my home screen.
I don't want another one if it's more Dark Moon.
>Xenobalde X and W101 on switch when?
Cmon, I don't want to buy WiiU for two games.
>Let's Go isn't even as good as FRLG
FRLG fucking sucked man, come on.
>b-but muh bonus islands!
Met's Go Pikachu Ed and Let's Go Eevee Ed in the context of this discussion and thread, yes.
Never seen the abbreviations before otherwise.
Yes, Pokemon games are targeted for children. This is a correct statement.
The chaining up to that point isn't fun though. This still does not change that actually throwing Poké Balls at your target isn't fun.
What absolutely ruins it is that Pokémon can randomly run at any point after the first throw, rather than a chance of run after escaping from any ball. This puts an unnecessary pressure to throw balls as quickly as possible, instead of taking time to nail the throw, which doesn't work anyway because shit controls.
It doesn't help that there's no tangible improvement to capture success if you do land a great or excellent throw, it never feels like it works, whereas in Go you actually can gauge the improvements.
>But LGEE/LGPE is still great
What the fuck is LGEE
>and arguably the best version of gen 1.
no
>The 3DS game did a lot of damage to the franchise popularity on Yea Forums
Try everywhere
just look at the comments on the trailer
>LGEE/LGPE
Throwing balls is more fun that walking left and right and mashing A.
I'm enjoying Sky Force Reloaded but fucking wish that it let you remap the controls because I can't begin to describe how much I FUCKING WISH I could remap the bomb and barrier to L & R. What makes it twice as retarded is that you CAN remap them on the PC version.
My only day 1 pickup for the year will be Dragon Marked for Death physical if only because they made the retarded decision of releasing the physical months after its digital release for a game that depends sorely on its online multiplayer.
Super Mario Maker 2 and Luigi's Mansion 3.
>Met's Go Pikachu Ed and Let's Go Eevee Ed in the context of this discussion and thread, yes.
user that's not what LGPE stood for, i don't really know how you thought that
it's Lets Go Pikachu Eevee, that's how all of the games are named
no one says REBEYE or GESECE it's RBY
Wow, what a shit opinion
What? The games are literally called Let's Go Pikachu Edition and Let's Go Eevee Edition.
what's your point
i can't tell if this is some weird joke or you're just stupid
>this guy can't read
Explains why you love Let's Go so much, retard.
That's not what the games are called but I van agree on the simplicity.
but they aren't, unlike "red version" and "blue version"
Is Marble It Up! worth $20?
no, the word 'edition' isn't part of their title
How well does VC4 run on handheld?
And once again Nugenners have ruined a thread
i don't like lgpe but i'm starting to think this guy is just false flagging to make people who like it seem stupider than they are
you're right they're version, not edition
i looked it up and "edition" isn't even a part of the fucking title
this is 100% just a person pretending to be retarded
No. Wait for them to finish adding levels (if they're even free) and then wait for a sale. It's way too short.
>They are not
>"Edition" is never included in the abbrevation
How is this not on Switch yet?
Unless you're a genwunner or part of the unovabortion cabal then pokemon is still good sans lgpe
Super Mario Maker 2
Astral Chain
Final Fantasy VII (never played the original)
Dragon Quest XI
Daemon X Machina
Pikmin 4
I really enjoy Octopath's gameplay and I like most of the main characters, but the story is what kills it for me. The villains are mostly these pure-evil type of people so far without much depth to them, and not having the other characters interact with each other's stories really kills the experience for me. It's one of those games where I want to finish it because of what I like about it, but what I hate about it is intense enough to prevent me from doing so.
>shitty art over Windows XP wallpaper
Does this piece of shit do ANYTHING right?
Looks more like Pokemon fans in general. You all act the same.
I'm close.
On my wii u, with none of the dlc.
Completed every shrine and side quest and have about 600 korok seeds. I know that's pretty far off from getting all the korok seeds but it's getting very tough to find them
Pokemon stopped being good after Ruby an Sapphire. It hasn't evolved in the slightest since then and its stale as fuck now.
I'm thoroughly enjoying my Switch more so now that I have my Xbox One controller hooked up the the system. The d-pad is a godsend for all these beautiful side scrollers.
I recently sank about 10 hours into Lost Sphear. I don't know if people are sleeping on this game or what, but it has such a lovely classic feel, makes me feel like a kid again for whatever reasons.
Been playing a lot of smash with the fiance, so there is always that for late night gaming sessions.
I have also been playing Chasm. I'm in the final area, so I should be finished that shortly.
I am definitely looking forward to Astral Chain. I really want to see more of this game sometime soon. I also cannot wait to play Link's Awakening. I know my fiance is over the moon about it since it's one of his favourite Zelda games.
I put my switch on one of my monitors and ran the headphone jack into my sound card so I can just play it while I'm browsing or doing something on the pc. it's just like any other game on my pc at that point I just use the pro controller.
But those were just called "Red and Blue", not even RB.
I dunno, I suppose it never occured to me that anyone meant "Let's Go Pikachu Eevee" when it literally abbreviates into "Let's Go Pikachu Edition", which I assumed everyone talked about, cause I guess I've seen it before?
I personally just call them Let's Go.
while you're right that gen 3 was one of the best ones they're still good
absolutely addicted to mario tennis aces
steins gate is great too
>I dunno, I suppose it never occured to me that anyone meant "Let's Go Pikachu Eevee" when it literally abbreviates into "Let's Go Pikachu Edition", which I assumed everyone talked about, cause I guess I've seen it before?
have you literally ever seen anyone ever use "LGEE" before because I highly doubt it
The stories in Octopath are fucking retarded. There's a boss fight with the dancer girl where she gets stabbed afterwards and the game wants you to think no one was around to help her even though the whole party was just there a second ago. It's so fucking dumb
cringe room
>But those were just called "Red and Blue", not even RB
user.
I should give mario tennis another try sometime.
>240 usd for this beauty
fuck my country
Still need to get this but come June I won't have any time to play it this year with so many games coming out in the second half
what case is that?
Does anyone even still play online?
>Looking to get soon:
OlliOlli
Ape Out
Wargroove
Captain Toad DLC
>Looking forward to this year
Astral Chain
Mario Maker 2
Pokemon Sword/Shield
Daemon X Machina
Just completed Hollow Knight, still got Rain World to beat. Also absolutely adore Lumines and Tetris on switch. Might get Puyo Puyo Tetris if it goes cheap.
Also really recommend the hori joycon dpad. makes playing most games way nicer in handhelds and the dpad is nicer than the pro controller
Nope and I assumed literally almost noone but me played with Eevee, which would make sense cos Pikachu is disgustingly popular.
okay Yea Forums police.
how comfy is that case i've started to use it in handheld more often but it's not the best to hold
By word of mouth, dum dum.
>indies
why
Steam is the indie platform
if people are verbally talking about games they will usually say "Red blue (yellow)" no one says "Red Version and Blue Version"
if they're talking about games in text they will use RBY, GSC, RSE, DPPT, etc
steam isn't handheld
Red and Blue are Red and Blue. Yellow is Yellow and noone played Green.
cant fit steam in my bag
switch also boots faster than my PC
>want mario + rabbids physical
>wait for gold edition
>gold edition releases (dlc code included)
why do games do this?
>mega man legacy collection 1 + 2
> 2 is included in a dlc code
>final fantasy x x-2
>x on cart but x-2 included as dlc code
I'm about 70% through tales of vesperia rn, I'd buy Mario maker 2 and Pokemon sword/shield day 1. What are some switch games that are like vesperia btw
It's so strange. We own about the same amount of games and only have about 4 in common. It's crazy to see the different taste in Switch games among people.
The stories in Octopath weren't that great except Primrose's and Olberic imo personally, however I would be lying if I said I didn't tear up a bit after the final boss fight (the *real* one) where all the storylines merge together. I thought it was beautiful. Just a shame that it was behind such a long and hard fight (took me 3 hours to complete, I went in blind and died the first time after ~2 hours, then re-tried it later and won, didn't use a strategy guide). I say this because I know most people will never discover nor attempt that fight, so they will end up missing a huge chunk of the story critical to the appreciation of the whole game itself.
My friend gave me a $30 in eShops cards for free, not sure what to buy.
Was deciding between Wargroove, or shelling out an extra $10 to get that Monster Boy game that came out in Dec or Travis Strikes Again with the dlc.
But honestly, I'm open any suggestions (tho will say I already got Smash and Hollow Knight, in case anyone was gonna suggest those).
Anyone got any ideas?
Deliberate devaluing of 2nd hand sales. Only game stores profit from 2nd hand sales, and devs want to be taking primary profit on sales.
It's a little more rough around the edges, but Shining Resonance is a nice and simply little action jrpg.
Shining Resonance but it's kind of shit.
Playing Dungeon Rushers. Am enjoying it, this is just what I needed!
I'm probably buying Chocobo Dungeon and Caligula this month.
Monster Boy isn't worth that much. Wait for that to drop to $10 like Wonder Boy does.
I'm waiting for E3 (or whenever their shitty show is) to see if I should get a Switch, I'm scared Nintendo is going to announce a new console revision with better screen.
Yea but
>sales
>better sales
>better prices
>sales for steam outside steam
>better performance
>tweaking/modding
>some indies support up to 4k, switch doesn't even do 1080p
Get Genesis collection.
why are those first 4 points the exact same
why are you trying for 4k on indie games
but i can't play it on the train
or at work
and switch also has sales, and it's gold coins reward system
>picked up lamal in the bargain bin for $15
>runs kinda shitty in the open world and the shooting is kinda shit but still enjoying the story
are there any other good detective game out there? If not, there really should be
>chocobo dungeon
was super excited for this until I saw the price. is there any reason they are trying to pass this off as a $60 game?
smash u is 1080p. the swtich is capable of that at the very least.
Wargroove would last you the longest. As for other recommendations you could try looking into Golf Story, Into the Breach, Celeste, Bloodstained, The Messenger and Stardew Valley.
nah for me it's literally just "if it's on Steam, there's never a reason to get it anywhere else"
it just pisses me off I don't want to use space on the console I want it all on the fucking cart what the fuck I hate VIP passes and cerberus passes
>he waited this long to play a garbage port
youtube.com
that's only true if it's PC only
I recently bought:
- Tales of Vesperia (60% into the story I think)
- Atelier Arland Trilogy (played the first one until the second assignment)
- Final Fantasy IX (Finished it many times on other platforms)
What game should I play?
Monster Boy is awesome. I can't recommend it enough.
play rorona and meruru
totori isn't very good
Can you get vanned if you do this?
>tfw right joycon can't be read in handheld mode
What do? I rarely use my switch so it shouldn't be damaged or anything. Is it some dust or shit?
They've been teasing W101 for over a year now. Cmon. Get on with it.
No that's anything that is multiplat.
If it IS available on PC, it's a PC game for more reasons that the above. This is compared to all platforms.
i had issues with them once i just went into the settings and did the "detect" thing
It has big drops in certain unoptimized places when there's a lot of things going on and then it'll go on and work perfectly fine outside of those places.
but trophies
I wanna get this thing. Honestly. Giving it a bit of time for it to build a bigger library and maybe see it getting a bit price drop.
not sure when, mid this year maybe?
I enjoy the gameplay/soundtrack/graphics, but I agree with you, the lack of interactions between the characters is unfortunate. The stories so far are alright, not that great but not that bad, I actually enjoy some of them. I'm 85h in and I finished the third chapters of everyone.
Wtf? It's 40 euros here.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and literally nothing else. Holy fuck I love that game. Link's Awakening maybe within first week if it's proven to not be Live-Laugh-Love-tier
DOOM with gyro is fucking awesome
Would any kind user gift me their Resident Evil Revelations 2 code?
Only if thats not too much of course,I know some people only liked Rev1 so if you have no use for it would you please consider it?
Thanks a lot for reading :)
My day one buys are Animal Crossing, Mario Maker 2, and Boxboy
I'll need to know more about Astral Chain, Daemon X Machina, Pokémon, and Luigi's Mansion
Any decent hidden gem digital games?
40 euros is probably like 60 leafbucks. still doesn't make any sense. it's a port of a wii game with some small additions.
what are you looking for?
I don't have a specific preference so anyhting really.
>isn't euro pretty close to dollars
>40 euro is 45 usd
>40 euro is 61 cad
rip leafs
No, user. 60 dollars game cost 60 euros here.
But then, again, Persona 4 Golden for Vita costs 9 euros. Normal price, no discount.
see
I don't want to spoil anything but if you really enjoy the game please do the (real) final boss questline once you get there. A lot of people just drop it when they finish the "story" and never realize there's a huge chunk of the game in side quests that all tie the storylines together into a huge and awesome boss battle. I strongly recommend it.
Mana Spark is decent little rougelite. You play as a character with a bow and arrow and fight hordes of monsters while diving deeper into dungeons. Plays like a twin stick shooter. On sale right now for like $6.
regardless. the game shouldn't be more than $20 equivalent to each countries currency.
I sold mine last year after finishing xeno 2
Opinions on this game?
did you play torna?
just play docked lol. the switch is great on my pc screen, the fan is a bit loud sometimes but it do it's job
based xenobro
>he didn't play Torna
Why?
OkunoKA, Membrane, Golf Story, Dragon marked for death
Do you have a job or you simply live off autism bucks? Also you spelled fiancée wrong faggot.
Sent!
Ah fuck, since you said it was a guy it's fiancé. You must be living off autism bux if you're a sick little faggot sucking up that nut and sucking up them gibs.
Snack World Gold is a pretty good hidden gem of a game, but it's in Japanese only (on the Japanese eShop). Gameplay is fun, it's a dungeon exploration kind of RPG game with monster catching/team building mechanics. The Japanese is very simple (it's a kid's game). I'd recommend it.
what's the japanese one?
port of a wii game?
i spelled it correctly. we both have jobs.
we do the sucking and whatever, but still both work. life is strange sometimes.
I have a feeling you will never get married.
Looks like Taiko no Tatsujin Nintendo Switch Version
So if you want it cheap buy the wii version.
good taste user, I have the same games + tropical freeze.
Are the reprints still common in Gamestop or are they gone again?
I own the Wii version. The coop is what sold me originally assuming it was going to be priced, you know, fairly. It'll drop on sale in weeks tops at that price so no worries on my end.
Daily reminder that Digital is better than Physical in every way
Super Mario Maker 2.
Still on the fence about Fire Emblem, I'd have to see more.
Pokemon is dead.
So you guys like do an ourbouros succ? You guys must be minmaxing.
I've been married, it sucks dick, quite frankly I was better off as a bachelor. Maybe when you grow older you'll understand that a man's solitude is worth much more than you think.
Sakurai likes to make games where the act of pressing buttons is enjoyable. Smash is a very active game and it's constantly giving you something to do and react to.
Wow user, I didnt ask for GTAV but thanks man!!
Meanwhile I’ll see shit like RE revelations and DQ builders running at 60 fps with practically no drops
Fucking lazy as fuck devs man
*tips fedora*
Not pricewise
>tfw we haven't gotten another battalion wars in years
>Starting up my Switch is inconvenient
psst...Splatoon
we're quite old fashioned when it comes to the sucking. one at a time.
>being married to a woman
spotted the problem, user. high percent of women are not meant to be in relationships. they become needy, dependent and eventually want something 'new'.
So I just did that, took me about 40 minutes total and that included screwing around with guides to get a better look at the disassembly and making myself coffee. Didn't cover the pads quite as much as he did but otherwise basically did the same fix on my launch pro controller. It now feels better than my Xenoblade 2 model and rivals my 8bitdo SN30 Pro's, though I'd probably that the SN30 Pro over it if I had to pick. Really nice little trick there.
Just don't be poor
I'm looking forward to the Langrisser I & II remake and SMM2 the most, I guess. As far as indie stuff is concerned, Mechstermination Force looks pretty cool.
Ape Out is great, short, but great.
get a nip or asia copy, they pay a bit more but get both games on the cart. I would rather they do that here by i guess americans wont pay more for a ps2 port.
Yeah occasionally dips to 57 during big shit but overall runs fantastically
I will be buying my nephew the switch next week as a gift for his communion. I was thinking Mario kart 8 and maybe Botw
Any suggestions? He is 8
I have a capture card and a dock plugged into it. I have my switch next to my PC. I just need to grab my controller, hit the "home" button and the switch powers up, I start the MPC application on the PC to stream the capture device (just like opening up any other game) and I'm already playing. Then when I go to work I stand up, grab my switch from the dock, put it in my bag and resume from where I left off on the train during commute. It's really that easy and comfy. I love my switch.
Ehh.
I bought mine just for Smash mostly, gotten a good amount of playtime out of that so far.
Got Pokken,Hyrule Warriors,BotW,Whichever Monster Hunter is on it and Splatoon 2.
I never owned a Wii U so I'm cool with it getting a bunch of ports. Wanna get MK8,NSMBU and Tropical Freeze eventually, but not for 60$ each.
As far as 2019 releases the only thing I'm all that interested in so far is Mario Maker 2. Maybe platinums new game and Daemon X Machina if they turn out to be real good, but probably not gonna get any of em day 1.
I got my grandma Yoshi’s Wolly world
Her 3 Video game after Tetris and Animal Crossings
She actually beat the game much to my surprise
Bayonetta 2
>indie games in 4k
What a pointless feature. 4k is only good if a Game has textures, not sprite shit or low-poly games.
Also, all of those points mean nothing if I can't play the game. Speaking for myself, my life is very mobile. I rarely spend time at home, meaning I commute a lot. The Switch has been a godsend because I can play these games whenever I want, and not just home. Yeah, I can get a Game on steam for 5 bucks less, but the entire cost of the game would have been a waste because I wouldn't be able to play.
Anyone else pick up the limited physical switch edition of Odallus and Oniken from play-asia? I cannot wait for that to ship.
What's he into? Odyssey is a pretty obvious pick, plus Smash if he's likely to have friends over or something.
I really, really want Odallus and have waited years to play it but they have utterly fucked up the controls on the Switch
A is jump, Y is attack
Got a chuckle from me user, any serious suggestions?
That's great to hear, will definitely do this to my Splatoon Pro Controller.
Super Mario Odyssey
Splatoon 2
Maybe Yoshi when it's out
Mario Odyssey, Smash Ultimate and Splatoon 2 are great choices, depending on what games he likes of course.
I did the boss rush but when I got to the actual boss I realized I forgot to give Therion a second job when I was shuffling everyone around. It made me so mad I shut the game off and never played it again. That was in October I think
Doesn't seem like much of an issue. Can you not remap the controls?
>Not promoting your game
Nice thing about the disassembly is that it seems really hard to do any cosmetic damage to the device. Only exposed screws on the whole thing are the two holding the grips in and you can always go over them with a black sharpie or something if you scratch the paint on 'em and it bothers you.
>don't own the game
>can't lend it to friends
>can't sell it
>can only be purchased at msrp unless there's a rare 33% sale, while you can buy it new on Amazon for less than msrp and even less used
If you think that the "convenience" of not having to swap games is worth giving up all this, then I have trouble seeing you as anything other than lazy and bad with money.
He likes all kinds of games really, he even plays lots of my snes games on the raspberry pi.
Splatoon
Odyssey
Smash
Thanks lads will add them to the list, he will love all of those
Bought Switch on release and now my left joy-con has drifting issues
how fucked am I ?
Get him Tiny Barbarians. Such an underrated game.
I am, still enjoying Mario Kart and Splatoon. How are World of Final Fantasy Maxima and Liar Princess?
As for day one buys, definitely Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Animal Crossing and Link's Awakening.
Why are these threads so awful and shilly? I own a switch and enjoy a good amount of games on it and can't wait for Animal Crossing and Astral Chain but the amount of pathetic shilling over paying full retail price for indy games you can grab for $2 on G2A and absolute trash like Pokemon SnS is beyond pathetic. These threads are always so fucking hugboxy and awful it makes it really difficult to browse them.
>Can you not remap the controls?
nope. jump should always be B, thats how games have been doing it for the last 30 years
This
Just fucking release it already
Maybe don't browse them then dumbass.
>What games are you picking up day 1 this year?
pokemon and animal crossing
2K are niggers
Hadn't heard of that one, it looks interesting thanks user.
I understand. Seems odd they would choose those as the standard controls. Either way, I'm going to enjoy the hell out of both games.
>Being this upset someone is crashing your hugbox on Yea Forums
Nintendo threads are always like this when shitposters aren't around. It's actually great msfans are back spreading shitposters thin across those threads
>wanting any borderlands game that's not the first game on switch
You're a fucking faggot.
All 1st chapter stories are done “alone”
I still wish they added a dialogue tree like
“Wait here real quick”
>Play cutscenes
>Friends come out to help
“Oh you brought friends? No matter I’ll slaughter them too”
i don't use the word cringe too often because of how stupid it is, but god damn your full of it.
>Got it for 80$ day 1
Got to love being a burger
I lol'd hard.
Cuz I'm high
I wasn't referring to a 1st chapter story. The one where she gets stabbed is a 3rd chapter. It doesn't make any sense and breaks immersion
Animal Crossing is #1 my most anticipated Switch game, maybe I'll get Astral Chain and the new Pokemon game when they release. I played that Daemon x Machina demo and I did not like what I played one bit. It's probably just not for me. I can't really think of anything else I'm excited for on the Switch.
Deff picking up mario maker 2.
For games that are already out I'm not sure if I want to pick up Dark Souls remastered on the cheap. I was considering going through some of the downloadable Indie titles but there's so much trash that I might not even sure what's worth my money and what's not
*sheathes katana and bows*
I think it's more so I made a mistake marrying a dumb beaner bitch, I just drink and abuse my medication all day. I don't want to be gay but I sure as hell think asian women are clearly the future on this one. Glad you guys are actually happy though. I blame Eve for everything when it comes to women's stupidity. I keep forgetting women are just incomplete men.
I just unlocked the Gate of Finis in Octopath and later on I'm gonna go sit at a cafe with a notepad and figure out what I want my final battle parties to look like. I consider this game a gem in spite of itself, for all of its pacing and structural missteps and other headscratcher oversights (why do they even have Save Points when there's one on every single screen? Why not just let us save anywhere) I find the main cast to be very charming and the combat is some of my favorite turn based combat in ages. Plus you can't beat that soundtrack and the environments are lovely.
Ape Out's pretty fun.
>beaner girl
double yikes user. sorry to hear. thanks user. we really are. all the best from here on out.
I'm more than likely going to off myself in the coming months though. Life has gone way too far down hill. Least having a switch is a cool novelty, the thread is giving me ideas what to pick up if I bother to do so.
Oh... well, it's your decision user. You do what feels right. If you do plan to stick around I hope everything turns out better in the end, and if you don't, I hope you find the peace you seek.
>asian women meme
yikes
Thanks friend.
Better than a goblina or a roastie. Plus from my own experience they're nice. No matter what I'll be screeched at in a fucking goblin bing bong language though. Woe is me.
Sorry for the late response, but yeah you can get your console banned from Nintendo servers if you're not careful. There are ways to get around this though. Here's a site with more info if you're interested : sdsetup.com
>Are you enjoying your Switch?
I did until my controllers started to act up.
>What games are you picking up day 1 this year?
Fire Emblem and Link's awakening. Hands down.
Sorry user, Ive redeem it already mine, good luck tho
Astral chain
Animal crossing
Super mario maker 2
Daemon x machina
Bayonetta 3
(Maybe) pokemon sword
(Maybe) mortal kombat 11
Guilty gear
Do you think Astral Chain will be a success
a lot of people seem very excited
Alright time to bring this back from near death. Anyone that's interested in homebrew might want to check this out.
It'll do okay but most of the stream chat on youtube was calling it gay weebshit
>Happy to pay $80 for a fucking controller
Nintendo brainwashing and artificial scarcity at its finest
Might sell a million if it's advertised well.
I don't have friends that are willing to tryhard at Splatoon with me. It's just hard to a find a static squad that's willing to grind shit out and shoot the shit, you know?
Well I hope by the time you get its on sale HWDE is so much fun.
Agreed with other user Monster Boy is tight but $40 is very steep
Wargroove is a great value because it’s long and good for multiplayer
Enter the Gungeon has gotten me the most time per dollar by far and is loads of fun if you can into rouguelike
Been enjoying it since launch
Currently playing The Binding of Issac Afterbirth+, haven't touched Issac since the Wii U version and I'm enjoying all the new content they added in.
Already have Chocobo's Dungeon Every Buddy preloaded for when it launches this month, and I'll be picking up Super Mario Maker 2 and Animal Crossing this year for sure.
>Want to play MHGU
>All the servers are barren wastelands, save for the odd Chinaman or Kraut
Chocobo's Dungeon is $39.99 in murrica land what are you talking about?
I hate the Switch but I will be forced to buy it once Pokemon comes out.
Start a turns room or ask people here to join your room.
>I hate the Switch
Why? It's the perfect console. Stupid Pokefag.
leafland and still $40 is a tough pill to swallow.
>have the Wii version
>know it'll be $20 in 3-4 months
>but those pre-order classes
Fucking Square Enix
Also consider that it will also have the improvements from the Jap exclusive DS port, plus a sweet buddy system.
Personally I'm getting this just to get back into the trading card minigame.
The card game is gone in this version.
Wait nevermind they actually removed it
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
gematsu.com
In the middle of another drought. February was barren, and March will be too. After I burn out on Tetris 99 I probably won't touch it again until June.
Going off this, is Fractured good if I haven't like South Park since season 12-ish? I really liked Stick of Truth.
>RE games will be $30 EACH
>No physical releases
Why is Capcoms Switch support so fucking bad?
I'm tempted to get a Switch since a bunch of games seem interesting to me, at least more of them than on PS4 or Xbone. I haven't owned a Nintendo console since the NES, so I'm not very interested in Nintendo's franchises. I have a PC, so I'm not interested in multiplats but there's a bunch of games I'd like to try, like:
>Xenoblade Chronicles 2
>Daemon x Machina
>Astral Chain
>Octopath
>that new SMT game
>Bayonetta
>rumored Persona 5, potentially with extra content
>BotW maybe, but it looks like emulation would get me a superior experience
>Metroid Prime maybe
>might also try some Mario platformer for old times' sake
Would a Switch be worth it for these titles? Obviously some are unreleased and some have older entries in the franchise which I intend to emulate before buying a new console. I also don't like the portability aspect, I will never use it and I hate the idea of paying for a console with a built-in, ever deteriorating battery, but I guess I could live with that.
How big is your sd card?
>GU was ugly as fuck and $60
Capcom is really sucking this gen.
There's a physical release. $60 and only RE0 is on the cartridge; REmake is a download code. RE4 gets nothing.
HELP ME
>tfw I'm stuck with nothing till FE, Lulua, Pokemon Shield and DQ11
Fucking end me
128 GB
God damn
Apparently canned air will fix it
But personally I used it as an excuse to pick up some sick ass Neon Pink/Green joycon
>The bad game of the 3 is the only physical
>Overcharging the hell out of all of them
If they wanted to charge $60, all 3 should have been on the cart.
Try lifting the rubber flap under the stick and spraying some electronic cleaner. Give it a bit of time to dry and then try it again.
>Let my little brother take my switch to our little cousin's house so they can play games together
>The little shit switched his neon red controller with mine, so now I have a controller without the rubber cap and broken on one side.
Children are pieces of shit.
Seeing the file sizes on the eshop, they actually couldn't put all three on one cart. Maybe two of them though. It is stupid they're charging $10 more for each than they did on PS4 about three years ago.
That seems like a decent enough selection. As for the battery, Switch disassembly is reasonably easy as far as handhelds go. It's built more like a console than a tablet, so if you ever do need to replace the battery it's not a total nightmare.
>buy new set of joycons at Walmart
>put old joycons inside
>return
This actually works because I bought a pair of neon pink/green joycon at walmart and when I got home and opened it they contained a pair of nonfunctional blue/red ones. Fucking Walmartstop.
I haven't touched it since trying out Smash (which I bought), because I've been busy on my PS4/PSTV backlog, but I'm looking forward to a lot later this year. 2018 and early 2019 have been dry as fuck though.
My likely day one buys are:
>Astral Chain
>Link's Awakening Switch
>Bayonetta 3
>SMTV
>Animal Crossing Switch
>Luigi's Mansion Switch
>new Metroid
Also interested in the new FE and Daemon X Machina, but need to see how they pan out. Haven't touched Pokemon since Blue, so I might get it as well depending on the reviews.
There's just so much to play when you're an idort, being masterrace is tough.
if south park makes you laugh, you'll like it. its more a fan game which happen to have in depth rpg mechanics in it.
I added it to my wishlist, looks fun. Will nab when there's a sale.
Comfy setup
thanks user. appreciate it.
I tried the Lost Sphear demo and wasn't into the combat, but I think the mechs or whatever weren't explained well in it.
Yeah, I've looked into that, but it just pisses me off that I'll have to pay for something I will never use and will also give me trouble in a few years, or in the worst case scenario the battery will bloat up and be potentially dangerous. I would've been much happier if I could've bought a Switch version which wasn't portable and was either cheaper or faster instead.
the combat is pretty basic. it gives you a little freedom while still being turn-based, which i personally enjoy. the mechs, at least at this moment, are just there for the sake of advancing story and making battles easy once in a while.
>want to buy Mario+Rabbids Gold during the sale
>refuse to buy digital
sonofa
Is the dlc by itself not on sale?
Nope, full price. First thing I checked.
>>Happy to pay $80 for a fucking controller
>Nintendo brainwashing and artificial scarcity at its finest
you wanna look up any of the special edition ps4 controllers?
